Great restaurant. Very tasty food, good service and reasonable prices. Awesome grilled seabass and seabream. We've eaten twice during our stay, that says something. Be prepared to wait for your table. Roughly anything between 15 min to an hour. Food is worth the wait though. Enjoy.

Great food and excellent service. We loved this place so much that during our very short stay in Chania, we ate here twice. The seafood is extremely delicious and fresh. I even got to choose my own fish! The prices are so decent. And after the meal, they give a complementary dessert.

Hugely popular fish taverna tucked well away from the harbour. There is always a queue, so reserve a table for dinner a couple of days at least in advance. Make sure it is downstairs. Yes, it's a bit crowded, but upstairs is above the open kitchen and gets very hot! Remarkably well priced fresh fish is well cooked over the grill, fish soup is great as is the complimentary strawberry sorbet to finnish. Service is friendly and efficient given how busy it is.

Delicious sea food, the chef options were really tasty and pair perfectly with the white wine of the house. A plus was the free refreshing ice cream for dessert 🤩. The service was incredible, especially coming from Helena 💛🌟, a very attentive, caring and cool woman! Highly recommend this place!!!

We came here in the winter and summer, weekdays and weekends, and the food is always perfect. During summer you’re probably going to wait for a table but not for long, 15 minutes max. We tried the fish, mussels, squid, octopus, and pasta and they were cooked to perfection. The staff is super friendly and welcoming, and even when it’s crowded, the service is not slow. The prices are very reasonable and lower than other seafood restaurants here. Hats off to the amazing chefs. Definitely recommended!

An amazing restaurant! Excellent value for money, with super fresh fish perfectly cooked. The service is outstanding – the staff are fast, kind, attentive, and always smiling. Menus are available in several languages, and unlike most restaurants where everything is charged, here they generously offer carafes of water (sometimes even mineral water), as well as desserts – often a copious ice cream to share at the end of the meal. It’s the only restaurant I visited where such thoughtful extras were included. They truly do everything possible to seat you quickly, with a smile and impeccable service. A place I highly recommend without hesitation!

We had a wonderful lunch at this place, which was one of the recommendations from our hotel. From the moment we arrived, it felt like we were dining in someone’s home. The server warmly welcomed us and explained that they offer daily specials made from fresh, local ingredients — dishes that aren’t listed on the menu. We tried the seafood risotto with shrimp, mussels, and octopus, along with a zucchini pie and a perfectly cooked fish served with vegetables and more risotto. Everything was unbelievably delicious — full of flavor and clearly prepared with care. One of the highlights was watching the food being prepared right in front of us, adding to the homey and authentic experience. The staff was incredibly friendly, and the entire meal felt like a lovingly prepared home-cooked feast.

An exceptional restaurant specialised in serving fresh, locally caught seafood. The prices are (almost risibly) reasonable. Served attentively and professionally by Sam (grazie ancora!), we dined on cuttlefish with fried potatoes, which were simply divine, as well as an octopus salad, washed down with half a litre of local white wine for good measure. To note, the place heaves with people after 2pm, we arrived at 12.30 and had no trouble finding a table. Highly recommended.
