To Omorfo Tavernaki

We thought that we were at a traditional taverna, how wrong we were in a good way! We had a delicious Citrus salad, and the grilled Mastello cheese as appetizer. My wife had a pancetta with caramelized glaze, baby potatoes and sweet pumpkin puree. Me myself had a Pork Shank, slowly roasted for 2.5 hrs in dark beer and more ingredients with potato chips. Both dishes were delicious and very tender. After our dinner we had a nice kinda Tiramisu what we shared cause we were actually full from the main dish. The service was very fast and pleasant by all the staff members. For all we eat and drink the bill was very reasonable for the quality of the food imo. Overall we highly recommend this restaurant when you're in Nafplio.

Had a nice lunch here in Nafplio. Was able to get a table outside and enjoyed some wine and food. The Sea Bass was so fresh and very special. The skIn was so crisp and excellent . The fish came with a spinach and fava bean but it was a bit bland but the fish was so good it wasn’t an issue.

Phenomenal food! The pork cooked in paper is delicious. The menu is typical greek affair. The crowd is a mix of Greeka and foreigners. On a slow Friday afternoon more than half of the outside tables were taken, while a few restaurants nearby hardly had any customers. The only minor gripe is that waitor told me they don't have dessert. Would be nice to have something sweet with sine coffee after food.

A lovely restaurant located in the heart of Nafplio’s old town. The food was delicious, lovely presentation and the service was amazing. I have 2 picky eaters and one dish was modified (removing the meat) to accommodate my child and the price was adjusted accordingly which I found super kind. I didn’t expect this and I found the gesture exceptional. I highly recommend this restaurant for families, especially those who have picky eaters like mine. Enjoy

Review for To Omorfo Tavernaki. The experience was negative. The restaurant had free tables. We asked for a table for two people. The staff refused and said that the available tables were only for four or six people. When leaving, we asked to make a reservation for later. The staff refused and stated clearly that they do not accept reservations. We returned after about four hours. Two people were seated at a four person table. The six person table had been separated. A table for two people was free. The initial refusal had no real justification. The food quality is poor. The service is poor. The staff attitude is unprofessional. I do not recommend this restaurant. It is the worst restaurant I have eaten at in Nafplio. „Your reply shows the same lack of respect that I experienced in your restaurant. I requested a table for two. There were free tables. You refused without any reason. This behavior shows a lack of professionalism and it damages the image of your establishment. I hope my review helps people avoid a negative experience in your restaurant. If you read your customers reviews with respect you would see that many describe the same situations I mentioned. I will not continue this discussion. I have stated the facts and this is where it ends.”

Had a lovely dinner with only starters. Dolmades, tzatziki, zucchini pats and sausages. Really enough for 2 and more. Big flavours!

We visited this tavern during our Nafplio trip based on reviews. We ordered a salad (omorfo tavernak), Greek carbonara and chicken kopanaki. All the dishes were simply amazing! Greek carbonara is a MUST try, same for the chicken which it was so tender it was melting in your mouth. Service was excepcional as well and the toilets clean decorated with black marble. Highly recommend.

You've got mail was SOOOO delicious🥰😍, we tried chicken with Greek pasta and some lokal cheese, traditional stuffed leaves with rice I guess and meatballs served with potatoes. Everything was super tasty especially meatballs as for me.
