To Omorfo Tavernaki

A lovely restaurant located in the heart of Nafplio’s old town. The food was delicious, lovely presentation and the service was amazing. I have 2 picky eaters and one dish was modified (removing the meat) to accommodate my child and the price was adjusted accordingly which I found super kind. I didn’t expect this and I found the gesture exceptional. I highly recommend this restaurant for families, especially those who have picky eaters like mine. Enjoy

We visited this tavern during our Nafplio trip based on reviews. We ordered a salad (omorfo tavernak), Greek carbonara and chicken kopanaki. All the dishes were simply amazing! Greek carbonara is a MUST try, same for the chicken which it was so tender it was melting in your mouth. Service was excepcional as well and the toilets clean decorated with black marble. Highly recommend.

You've got mail was SOOOO delicious🥰😍, we tried chicken with Greek pasta and some lokal cheese, traditional stuffed leaves with rice I guess and meatballs served with potatoes. Everything was super tasty especially meatballs as for me.

Recommended by locals we headed here for dinner early without a reservation. Despite off season (April) and then just opening up for the season it got packed by regular dinner times. Mix of locals and tourists that come for the good quality food they serve Nice setting in a small alley of the old city a bit off the main tourist track. The google location is not 100% accurate so don’t get confused like we did and end up in the next restaurant :) with while checking with the waiters We had a variety of great starters and then two main dishes form the “daily special” menu that was printed …. And to be fair the zucchini balls were one of the best we had in Greece as the special local sausages from different places in the region … plus a cheese you normally only get on the island of Chios

Excellent dishes with quality ingredients. The 2.5 hour pork in a dark beer sauce was exceptional; we could just pull the bones straight out. The potato stuffed with bechamel, ham and mushrooms was rich but delicious. Fast service and quiet during late May!

Nice restaurant in typical Greek scenery near the harbour, the menu had a good variety. They had a large team of waiters ready at your service which felt a bit haysty what may came from the early hour we had our dinner, so the main course was served too fast, nevertheless the food was of excellent quality and large portioned.

Delicious food. Large portions. The dolma was unsurpassed, and I haven't eaten such a delicious tiramisu in a long time. Great service. Friendly smiling staff. It's a pity, only that there is no tea 🫣 Highly recommended.

The food was not the best but not bad. However, the service was as bad as it gets. The waiter was so distracted and inattentive throughout dinner. He even forgot the appetizers and ended up bringing them out near the end of the meal. Not impressed. Recommend Mezedes Tavern Noulis for a tastefully prepared Greek meal.
