The first time I came was on Christmas Eve, the 25th, and it was just closing time, so I had to walk 4 kilometers to this restaurant the next day. I have to say that the lamb chops here are the best I have eaten in Athens this time: the lamb tendons are roasted fresh, crispy and tender, the lamb fat retains a rich aroma, and a small amount of seasoning is sprinkled on the meat without overpowering it. The amount of meat is just right, and I don’t need too much supplementary food. With a plate of boiled wild vegetables (Horta), it is enough to satisfy my hunger. The disadvantage of this restaurant is the roast pork chops, which are a bit dry and hard. If they can be beaten and roasted over a high fire before roasting to retain the gravy, it should also be a wonderful dish.
The affordable price is also a reason for me to come back again.
