A really great meal ruined by the table that sat next to us in the middle of our meal (they smoked, they were smelly from whatever they used to cover their BO and they talked too much). Otherwise the food was really good, generous portions, taste like what it says it’s gonna taste (fresh fish was indeed a fresh sea bass). We got complimentary cake and raki at the end. FYI the bathroom is clean but people can still push open the door even if you lock it. Rude! The fried mushroom and the stuffed vine leaves are top notch also!

enjoyed my lunch here. The kleftiko lamb served in a parcel was succulent served with freshly cooked potatoe chips. My wife had the meatballs and zucchini fries. 1/2 litre wine option. honey raki was delicious, I went to the shop around the corner to buy two bottles. complimentary Yougart cake was nice and crunchy. This is a delightful restaurant.

One of my favourite meals in all of Crete! We were casually walking by after a day of exploring and were greeted by Maria, who asked us if we knew about the restaurant. When we said no, she gave us the history and style of cooking that they follow, using traditional methods. We were sold and the food did not disappoint! The flavours were on point, everything came out pretty quick despite being busy and reasonable price tag for the amounts and quality of ingredients. I also like how they mark which menu items are frozen and which are fresh! Absolute must visit while you're in Chania.

In a central, but not main street of the old city, this very pleasant and friendly restaurant offers a nice menu,  with a number of local dishes. I was told of the additional specials of the day, which were superb. The meal starts with complimentary dips,  and is completed by an excellent dessert (on the house). Excellent food and lovely service in a nice spot

Advisable to either pre book or be prepared to wait in line for a table to come free. When we got seated our food order was taken which then arrived at a decent time after. All meals on the table looked really nice, the Lamb Kleftiko was very good, although the portion could be slightly bigger for the price. Unfortunately, the service let this restaurant down. We were keen to stay for an extra drink and pay for a dessert however it took longer than 30 minutes for someone to clear our empty plates and no one came to us once they had been cleared to see if we wanted anything extra. We did try to catch a waiter but to no avail. So we requested the bill and headed elsewhere. A shame as the food genuinely tasted great. Unlikely to go back with poorer service than expected at the prices paid.

Very nice atmosphere in this cute alley. Food was nice. The goat dish could have a better side, though. It only comes with very average fries. As a wine lover myself, I was disappointed with the wines offered, but I guess Greek wine is just not for me… 🤷🏽‍♀️

This is one my favourite places in Crete. Second time I have been here. Beautiful setting with authentic traditional food. Lamb kleftiko is a must order

The food was great, we ordered Mountain Goat Stew, fried fish and fava. They were very diligent with our gluten sensitivities and offered different complimentary desserts in the end accordingly. Very kind and thoughtful. The cats are always there to check if you have finished everything.
