Toa Luau

There isn't enough space and time to express how happy we are about our experience at Toa Luau. We spent the time before the luau wandering the Waimea Valley, amazed at the natural beauty and surrounded by so many birds deep in conversation! When the luau began we were welcomed by such friendly people, donned with a lei an bought to our table. We sat inthe gold section but I don't think there was a bad seat in the house because the venue is small and the performers made everyone feel like part of the experience. While the food was cooking we were invited to either watch or participate in stations that included; coconut husking, cracking open, great trick to that by the way...look for the smile first, preparignanansa for cooking and cleaning poi and braiding palm fronds head leis. There was also a demonstration of cooking fish, poi and bananas over hot rocks, covered with fronds. The meal itself was amazing; succulent pork, chicken, rice, a roll, salad, fruit with coconut jello and coconut cake. Wow! It is and all you can eat situation, but we're served a our table which made us feel more like ohana. The performers were AMAZING, so much talent! They shared dances from all Polynesian islands and included a lot of history. The MC was knowledge and entertaining,bringing a lot of humor throughout the evening. Thank you to all of the people who bring this experience together. We will share our experience with everyone and will be back ourselves.

Toa Luau was an amazing authentic experience and everyone involved takes tremendous pride in sharing their Polynesian culture. We did the VIP package and it was well worth the additional cost given our table was right by the stage. I like how they had us assigned to tables and walked us to our assigned table. The show and dinner is well planned and executed flawlessly. The MC of the show was fun and knew how to keep the audience involved. It was an hour drive from where we stayed in Waikiki Beach but well worth the drive - just be sure to give yourself plenty of drive time given the Honolulu traffic.

Went with my parents, and we loved the Luau! We loved the botanical garden, just make sure to come around 3 in order to go through it before it closes. We loved all of the different activities during the Luau! The food was just so so. I recently went gluten free so there weren't many options for that. We especially appreciated that the Luau was family friendly and all of the dancers were modestly dressed!

Me, my husband, and kids (ages 13 and 10) - we ALL had the best time. The food was delicious, the activities were interactive and fun, and the Luau was really beautiful (and funny, and entertaining). Thank you ALL for sharing your culture with us, and for making my 40th birthday extra special. Give yourself a few extra hours (like 2.5) to wander the gardens and swim in the waterfall!

A fantastic experience! My wife and I were visiting Hawaii for the first time and had never experienced a Luau. We absolutely made the right decision! The setting is gorgeous, the staff were extremely kind and helpful and the emcee was polite, Informative and super funny. Before the show and food you go out and have the opportunity to help/ warch several different Polynesian activities... Crown making, coconut shelling, banana peeling, a coconut harvesting and a traditional cooking pit. The food was delicious and the show was fantastic. A highlight of our trip!!

Brought our family of 6 here for the luau. The activities of husking coconuts, braiding grass headbands, watching a cooking demonstration, and peeling bananas was so fun! Food was delicious, esp the pork and chicken. We had silver seating was great! Not a bad seat in the house. The show was amazing!!! Would definitely come here over the PCC as it had a true intimate family feel!!!

Toa Luau was a wonderful experience and truly felt special from start to finish. The demonstrations before the show were engaging and informative, and the staff made everyone feel included and comfortable. The food was well organized and served with genuine warmth and kindness. When the main show began, the performances were energetic, meaningful, and beautifully done, telling stories through music and dance that were easy to appreciate and enjoy. The overall ambiance was very ohana—warm, friendly, and family-oriented. You could feel the pride and care everyone took in what they were sharing. This is a great choice for families or anyone looking for an authentic, heartfelt luau experience on Oahu. Highly recommended.

Toa Luau was absolutely incredible!! The venue was great, outdoors and under coverings if it were to rain. The pre activities were a lot of fun to be included in, food was delicious and the performance was phenomenal! My husband and I purchased the VIP package and was seated right in the front which was amazing. But the venue is laid out nicely that the tables behind are up a floor to see over the lower tables. The Luau was an amazing night and very interactive which made it more fun, must book if you're on Oahu!
