"Toast is just far enough from the main tourist haunts to make you feel like you’re really in the know. Inspired by the cozy cafes of Paris, you won’t be able to accommodate your Mardi Gras crew, but that’s not why you’re here. Order a latte and the menu’s must-try item: the Aebleskivers, Danish pancake balls smothered in powdered sugar and a host of sweet condiments." - Andrew Parks

Good food, yummy and unique crepes (king cake crepe!). Great location away from busyness of the city. And good service. But we got there at 8:30am and still had to wait over 30 minutes and there’s not really a great place to stand and wait - could have better waiting seating or something. I felt like I was either in the way of the servers or standing in the street. Also no liquor license so no mimosas, so not really for me. More of a family experience, not so much a grown up adult kind of experience. Cute though and recommend trying once. Also their little doughnut balls are yummy.

this place was great! visiting from CA and found this gem for breakfast. I definitely recommend it. my mom's vegan, and I'm not sure they had many "vegan" options for breakfast, so she just had some avacado on toast. but damn everything else was great.

Came here for a Sunday brunch. The place as expected was packed. 30 min wait. Cozy atmosphere. Service was great. Avocado toast was delicious. Crepe was amazing. The best thing was the puffed pancakes. So good. Soft on the inside. Highly recommend. Toast was awesome.

Grateful for our waitress , Lilian, our bartender (4 the best margarita I’ve ever had) and the entire staff !! Gods Gift. Truly. Beautiful ambience. Good music. Artwork. Everything on the menu is otherworldly! Onsite / metered parking. That’s all imma say about this place ~ 1love

Tiny and delicious! First time ever in New Orleans tried Toast due to the high ratings. They are accurate! Everything was great ! Do try the puffed pancakes (I don't remember the name) but delicious with scrumptious lemon curd. You won't be disappointed. Reasonable pricing, generous portions!

This is a pretty fun spot with very attentive and pleasant wait staff. The food is very good and the menu offers enough for even picky eaters without being over done. I would recommend the crepes, the breakfast sandwich was good but the biscuit is more crumbly than flaky (personal preference). The entrance might be a bit confusing your first time- it faces laurel not on the corner which is the door of a martial arts studio.

Nice little neighborhood joint. Came here before hitting Jazz Fest. I had the Omelette with bacon, spinach and gruyere cheese. Wheat TOAST with raspberry jam, and fruit. Very nice, very tasty. There were also daily specials, and I had a conchas. It was colorful, and had a good flavor. It's a good place. I was satisfied, and will be back.

Puffed pancakes with lemon curd?! Omg yum! I personally didn’t LOVE the ratatouille because of the heavy eggplant, but otherwise, really solid breakfast in NOLA! No wait on a Saturday morning in January.
