Toast Tours

We had a great experience with Toast Tours starting with my first phone interaction with Kristina. Kristina was so helpful with recommendations for restaurants etc. Her husband Lars is the driver and he showed up on time at our hotel. His vehicle was clean and comfortable and Lars offered lots of interesting information about Paso and the wineries we visited. He also had water bottles and snacks on hand. My husband and I were able to enjoy our winery visits without designating a driver. Would highly recommend.

Our group had a great day touring the west side of Paso Robles & wineries with Lars on October 15th! The 9 passenger Mercedes van was very comfortable, Lars arrived early and his knowledge of the wineries we were going to was outstanding! He also took group photos and showed us some nice sights, placed us in a super picnic area at Epoch and the box lunches arranged by Toast were perfect ! Toast Tours gave our party of 14 an amazing day. Well organized by Kristina. Great van. Plenty of snacks and water. Our guide and driver was Lars. He was excellent. Our group of 6 had a great experience with Toast Tours! They curated a great day for us visiting wonderful wineries. We visited from out of state and Lars, our host, was very knowledgeable of the area. The reason for writing this review is twofold. First, I want to share my experience with everyone who may be considering Toast Tours. Second and most importantly, I wanted to thank Toast Tours for a wonderful and memorable experience, from beginning to end. My Wife and I were making our first visit to the Central Coast, and decided that visiting some local wineries would be a nice way to get more acquainted with the area. I liked some of the reviews I had seen on Yelp regarding Toast Tours, as well as watching a a few quick YouTube vids before contacting them. From the very start, Kristina was a huge help. Thank you again. I conveyed some of what were looking to do on this trip, as well as our past experiences in Napa and Sonoma. Kristina did a masterful job of giving us options. Some more mainstream and like we have experienced before, as well as some smaller, boutique style options. Every question, she had an answer and suggestion for, and when we decided to book, I was confident in our choices. Toast Tours also takes care of the reservations, so that's one less thing to worry about as well. We chose to visit three wineries; Tablas, DAOU, and Ciento. All three were an amazing experience (I'll write more about those individually on their pages). I do want to highlight Ciento, however. This was a direct recommendation from Kristina, and they really stole the show. We would have never known or visited this wonderful winery if it wasn't for Kristina and Toast Tours. Our driver, Jimmy, was on time and extremely courteous. He has a wealth of wine knowledge, as well as local area knowledge, and he shared them in a fun and engaging way. He was a great help at each of the wineries, getting us in and out with our reservations, while also assising with our purchases. Thanks again, Jimmy!. The vehicle was clean and comfortable, and they provide water and some small snacks, if needed. Another thing I want to mention that was very nice as well is the price. While these types tours can be a bit pricey at times, I feel their rates are more than reasonable. Kristina itemizes everything beforehand, so there are no surprises. If you decide to make some small changes to the itinerary, Toast Tours will work with you, and give you the cost differential. Exceptional service from top to bottom, and I would gladly and confidently book with Toast Tours again..

Responsive ownership, knowledgeable and friendly staff, and professional service marked by timeliness and organization. I was looking for a tour company in Paso Robles that could accommodate a group of 15-17 and Toast was one of the few. They got our business based upon Kristina's prompt responsiveness and detail-oriented approach. She helped me to consider factors I otherwise would not have, and her organizational skills helped the day of our tour run smoothly. Our driver, Jennifer, was incredibly knowledgeable about the region as well as the histories of the wineries, and she was always available to answer questions and accommodate our needs. Our entire experience was seamless and comfortable, and many of our guests commented on their preference for Toast's approachable style versus the more pressured and dismissive nature of that other wine region a little further north. I would highly encourage others to strongly consider Toast for any wine tours in the PR region.

Amazing experience!!!! I pretty much followed all of Kristina's suggestions including the road trip to and from Paso Robles. She made perfect suggestions on the wineries I chose, and we ended up switching from a commercial winery to the boutique Still Waters. Which ended up being our favorite. Madison picked us up and politely kept us on time throughout the day and was very intuitive in nature. She was an absolute joy!!!

Wow just wow. Toast Tours really hit it out of the park. Jimmy, our guide, was amazing and so knowledgeable. He gave us insights on all the places we picked. He gave us great recommendations for dinner places and held great conversation. Thank you for making our birthday trip amazing

I have been on quite a few wine tours before...but this was by far the most comfortable, best run, biggest vehicle, best value, and just overall best experience I have ever had. First, we were picked up on time (the bus was early and we were loaded, instructed, and on the road super quick). It was a pleasant surprise to see a happy birthday banner put up for my mom. We brought a dog and the pup got to ride with us and there was even a doggie bed for him on the floor. Next, Steve was our driver and he definitely knew what he was doing. Ice cold water, loads of great information, and he made sure the winery and the drinkers kept to the time schedule. Not rushing but just checking. Also, Steve knew where to take the best pictures, loved on the dog we brought with us, and was just a great human being to be around. You can tell he loves Paso. Finally, Kristina was a breeze to work with. I chose our wineries but she double checked that they were dog friendly. I cannot recommend this tour enough! As someone who loves wine and has been on many tours in California, this was the easiest and best experience I have ever had. Book this company. You won't regret it.

Toast Tours is something special. From the ease of booking and flexibility to the personable tour guides. Kristina and her team truly make you feel like an old friend. I have booked multiple tours with Toast Tours and they never disappoint. The team takes the guesswork out of trying to plan an eventful day in Paso Robles. Lori was amazing during our Tin City Walking Tour. She fit in with our group seamlessly. Madison arrived promptly to pick us up and was very kind to have water and snacks prepared for our trip. Kristina was so attentive in ensuring we made it back to where we stayed. All in all... AMAZING. I plan on booking any further tours of Paso Robles with Toast Tours.

We love Toast Tours! We use them every year when we visit Paso Robles. They help us find unique wineries and experiences. Lars puts up with us 10 laughing loud girls! We look forward to using them every year!

Had a great time with Steve on my 50th birthday party! He drove us to J Lohr, Cass Winery and McPrice and Myers. We would do it again in a heartbeat!

We had an incredible time on this tour. Lars picked us up a little early and offered to take our pictures. In the bus, he had bottles of waters and snacks available for us. Lars answered all of the our questions that we had about the various wines or even the wine process. We had booked a few tours and he drove us to the different locations. He was very knowledgeable about the area and environment. We did run a little late so it would have been better if Lars could have kept us on time for the various wine tour. All in all, it was a wonderful experience.

It was a girls weekend in Paso Robles/Cambria and Kristina and Jennifer at Toast made it an amazing experience. We booked with Kristina a couple of months ago because she was so responsive and really listened to what my group wanted. She gave of several options to select from. The morning of the event we met up with our driver Jennifer. It was nice to have a woman driver. She was amazing. We had some newbies in our group and she educated us on how to sample our wins with the 5 "S". First stop was Chateau Margene. What an experience. John and family treated us to an world class experience. We sat out in the garden and were treated with a Charcuterie Board, a trip to vineyard, barrel room blending and taste of amazing ports. Jennifer kept us on track and we moved onto Stillwater Vineyards Here we enjoyed wines , incredible views. We enjoyed a picnic we brought and just relaxed. Finally, Jennifer took us to Dresser Winery. Again, great selection by Kristina. Wines outstanding. OG Ron was our server and a complete pleasure for the part of our afternoon wine tasting. Jennifer we took your advice and went to Taste for dinner. Great choice after a day of wine tasting. You made our experience over the top. We hope to plan an other trip and have you take us to some new spots.

If you're headed to Paso and not using Toast Tours, you're doing it wrong. Christina, the owner and resident wizard of logistics, pulled together the perfect wine tasting day based on my wish list--and managed to work some last-minute magic like it was no big deal. But let's talk about the real MVP: Jennifer. Our guide, conversational queen, and walking wine encyclopedia. She wasn't just knowledgeable--she was engaging, hilarious, and made sure every moment was easy, fun, and fabulous. Jennifer got us settled in at each winery like we were VIPs (because we obviously are), and even worked her charm to score us a few premium tastings since it was my birthday. Now that's the kind of energy I want around me on a wine tour. We'll 100% be booking with Toast Tours again--and we'll be requesting Jennifer by name. Because once you've tasted wine with her, anything else is just... grape juice.

We were in Paso Robles to celebrate my sister's 50th birthday and decided to do the Tin City walking tour with Toast Tours. What a fabulous experience! I would highly recommend taking this tour. The wineries (and one distillery) we visited were each unique in their own way and the included family style lunch at Etto had some of the best pasta dishes I have had in a long time. Kristina, one of the owners, is charming and extremely knowledgeable about the area, local history, and all things wine related. She really made the tour something special. This was by far my favorite event of our fun filled weekend and I can't wait to come back next time I visit Paso Robles and share the experience with my husband. If you only do one thing in Paso Robles the Tin City Walking tour should be it.

5 out of 5 isn't enough for Toast Tours! They truly go above and beyond. I reached out to Kristina, through their website, a few weeks ago to plan an anniversary celebration for my wife and I. She asked a few questions of our preferences and used her knowledge of local wineries to put together an awesome itinerary for us that included 3 wineries all of which were unique and dog-friendly since we brought our pup along. We chose to be picked up at 11AM from the trailer park we were staying at. Our driver, Lori, was very communicative and punctual. We started with a tasting and lunch out at Calcareous. Our second stop was at ONX for a vineyard tour and tasting. And we finished out the afternoon at Jack Creek Cellars (our last stop was our personal favorite for the wine, but they were all spectacular in their own ways). At each stop Lori would check-in on us and give us courtesy reminders of the time to keep us close to schedule. She shared local knowledge and history with us in between stops and was so pleasant to have as a driver! We can't wait to come back to Paso and use Toast Tours again!

We had the most incredible experience with Jennifer at Toast Tours! As a local, I was skeptical of the need to take a wine tour through a company, and boy was I wrong - this experience was fantastic. From Jennifer's knowledge on wine that she shared in an easy to understand way, to the convenience of getting to play our own music and enjoy the drives between wineries, this was the best tour! Can't recommend enough.

Kristina was incredible! She was so knowledgeable and fun. The transportation was comfortable and she had water to keep us hydrated. She even provided us wine shippers to get our loot home safe.

Toast Tours is the company to hire. Kristina is a master at listening, planning, communicating. The drivers, her husband Lars, gave us history, local stories, took care of all logistics. All we did was enjoy ourselves. 10 stars you get your money's worth!

We booked a private tasting with Toast Tours and had the absolute best experience with Jennifer as our guide. She was incredibly friendly, super knowledgeable, and made the whole day feel easy, relaxed, and fun. It felt like we were being shown around by a friend! Jennifer gave great insight without overwhelming us with too much info. I would 100% recommend Toast Tours if you're looking for a low-stress wine tasting day. And if you can, request Jennifer!

Toast Tours is absolutely the best wine tasting/touring experience in Paso Robles! Kristina and Lars do an amazing job with scheduling, flexibility, information of wines and local knowledge. I have used great touring companies in Napa ( Verve) and Santa Barbara ( Sustainable) Toast Tours is easily surpassing their levels of service and satisfaction in the Paso Robles area. I will be using them again on our next visit, simply a fantastic experience for our 2 days of tours!

Maddie was an amazing driver for our bachelorette party. She had all the vibes and was super lenient with allowing our big party to move through our itinerary at somewhat of an on-time pace. Hearding a group of 11 girls isn't easy but she made the trip so much fun! 10/10 would recommend their services. Reasonable prices for a partybus style transportation, instead of a sprinter van. Kept the vibes going. Amazing experience!

Toast tours was awesome. Cristina was so accommodating and easy to work with. I love the part of the service where she takes care of making your tasting reservations at the wineries, for you and you have an option of ordering a really tasty picnic lunch. Our driver Jennifer was great. She asked if we wanted some education on the area or to just listed to our music I. Between the wineries. We opted for both and it worked out well. What an absolutely fabulous experience from start to finish! Lars is a wonderful guide, driver, and photographer. He is knowledgeable about wine and the region. He's attentive to the group's energy and needs. He kept us on track without being obtrusive or abrasive. He was quick to take photos to help us savor the memories we were creating. The mini bus was clean and comfortable. Lars was organized and proactive. All our purchases were color coded by individual or couple which made it easy to locate our bags at the end of our time together. Since there's no cell reception out in the roads between wineries, he took all the stress out of our travel between properties. We visited 4 wineries--2 on the east side of Paso and 2 on the west. It was a wonderful day. One I will cherish forever.

Not sure where to start... our experience with Toast Tours was so easy beginning to end! Kristina was so responsive and helpful in planning our itinerary. She gave us so many options. We loved each one - but especially Boutz Cellars! Jennifer was a perfect fit for our group! She told us about the area, each winery and made recommendations for us for our next trip. We booked Toast Tours for a bachelorette and the entire process from booking with Kristina and our guide with Jennifer was absolutely amazing. It exceeded all expectations. Kristina was beyond helpful, responded quickly each time with detail and helped us draw up a wonderful itinerary. There are several wine tour companies in PR, but Toast Tours is top notch. From the start Kristina listened to our travel plans and preferences. Based on that, she made suggestions and altered them to fit our needs. We visited three wineries, and even stopped by a distillery to end our day! Our driver, Jennifer was AMAZING, our group of 10 loved her energy, vibe, humor, engagement and attention to detail (a birthday banner inside the van, snacks and cold water waiting for us after our first stop). She arrived on time, offered to narrate and share historical info about Paso, taught us the 5 S's and demonstrated her wine knowledge. Jennifer, you were amazing. Thank YOU!!! We will be back to PR, Toast Tours and keep fingers crossed that you're available.

We had an absolute blast with Toast Tours on New Years Eve and wanted to give a special shout to our driver Nigel!! He was so knowledgeable, kept things lighthearted and fun, and made sure to keep us on schedule when we lost track of time. We learned a lot and all of us genuinely enjoyed chatting with him between wineries. We can't wait to come back and will request him again!

Update: Dec 2023 I seriously cannot begin to express how Toast Tours exceeded our expectations. Our group returned to Paso, a year to the date, and used Toast Tours again for a Paso experience we would not forget. Nigel was our driver this time and he was wonderful. Kristina selected another handful of wonderful wineries that were a hit with the group. And again, we all ended our day filled with memories and happiness that will last a life time. We cannot say enough about this tour company!!! We chose Toast Tours for organizing our private Paso Robles wine tasting experience as they were highly rated online and listed as dog friendly. And they did not disappoint! Kristina worked with me for a week to organize the perfect itinerary, giving me lots of options for terrific tastings that were dog friendly, scenic settings and highly rated. She then took care of our winery reservations and booked our lunch too. On the day of our tour, Jennifer Best, local wine guide extraordinaire, picked us up from our hotel and drove us to each reservation. Her van was packed with waters, snacks and even a dog bed for pups!!! Along the way, Jennifer educated and entertained us with her extensive knowledge and experience in the Paso Robles wine scene. She truly made our day, so friendly and helpful (taking our pictures at every stop and even advising us on things to do on the rest of our trip, ,) we really didn't want our day to end. We had a fantastic day at the Paso Robles wineries with big thanks to Kristina and Jennifer from Toast Tours! Before our fun Mom's weekend away trip to Paso, we coordinated all the details with Kristina. As one of the owners of Toast Tours, she asked us all about our needs and wants for a perfect day. Kristina made recommendations but took notes on specific wineries we wanted to visit. She put together an itinerary for us and handled all the reservations. Kristina also checked in several times before our trip and switched some of our outdoor tastings to indoors once we learned that the weekend weather would be very hot! She was always available via cell phone whenever we called. On the day of the tour we met our wonderful driver and winery guide, Jennifer. She picked us up in a very comfortable minibus (with seatbelts) and provided us with plenty of cold water and snacks during the day. She was very knowledgeable about all our destinations and gave us helpful tips. We enjoyed chatting with her but she also gave us plenty of space to talk among ourselves and/or listen to music. Jennifer was great abut checking us in to every property, getting us great seating (including a private room at one spot!), and keeping us on track with time. And, probably most importantly, she took many pictures of our group of 7 ladies - who all appreciated her camera skills! Between the ideal itinerary Kristina picked for us, our fabulous experience with Jennifer, and the all-around excellent customer service we received, we had the perfect wine tasting day! A wonderful experience from start to finish!
