Nice little island with a much less touristy vibe. Best place in Belize to snorkel directly from the beach. It is right on the reef and right next to a channel. Be aware of the tide as you may be fighting a small current to get back.

Decent island. No beaches. Quite dirty for what we were expecting. Garbage everywhere...they really need to do a better job but nobody cares. Very expensive for what you get. Mostly locals with some tourist huts. Reef is beautiful. 2 days is plenty unless you're doing tours or trips out. Everyone is out to rip you off.

Amazing Island in the middle of the belizian barrier reef! You can see a lot of rays every day! There is a local reef, Where you can directly snorkel from the island. When snorkeling around the beatiful local reef we saw a school of tarpunes, a bull stark hunting them and a turtle approaching us. It’s possible to encounter stingrays, eagle rays, snappers, jacks, a baracuda family and much more. There are two bars to enjoy life and there is a big offer for nightly snorkeling, even diving is possible. The people on the island are like a big family and support each other. No one will blame you when you grab all coconuts.

Gorgeous place, but a bit pricey.

When we arrived we thought we were in paradise, and were having a wonderful time enjoying the island. Unfortunately, while we were out on the water for a few hours someone went into our cabana and stole our phone and all our money. The island doesn't have an ATM, so you have to bring any money you need. After this I didn't feel safe on the island, and couldn't enjoy our last night there. We stayed at Joe Jo's in a basic cabana, with the best part being the view.

Amazing spot, there are few that equal it in natural beauty and R&R.

If you like roughing it, this is your place. If not, don't bother. Also, when setting foot on the island, we were approached by two people that said that we must have masks on; yet, neither one of them were wearing masks themselves.
