Tobingo Döner

Germany is Donner country where they eat more donner then in Turkey. That is why most of the time the quality is good and this shop was no exception. I had an excellent donner here with rich fillings.

This place was busy during lunch hour. We ordered a cheeseburger and the meat plate with fries (#1). Wow! The meat plate was ginormous! We could both have shared one meal. The prices were decent as well. Super glad we ran into this restaurant.

Great Döner Menu! Delicious and tastes wow!! Located right in the city centre a few minutes from the main town hall. Great ambience and amazing staff. Recommend the Döner menu, outside sitting in summer is the best

Came here because auf the excellent reviews. It must have been a bad day (evening). My Döner Menu was cold and not very tasty. Fries ok. Shaking tables on the street - and terrible expensive. Probably the most expensive Döner of my life at Euro 17.90

This was amazing! So sorry that I didn't take a picture to share (because I ate it all before thinking). The bread was crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. There was an incredible crunch with each bite. Not to mention the size and taste of it all! One of my favorite places! I wish they had one here in the US.

Absolutely delicious and reasonably priced! If you dine in, it would be a bit crowded and warm. But for this price, I think it shouldn't be a complaint. I recommend the veggie burger. My wife and son had kebabs. We both think that they are juicy and yummy.

This is truly a hidden gem in a romantic town! Don't get fooled by the classic dinner look/atmosphere, the food here is amazing! We have limited time in town and just wanted to grab something fast, turns out the donner box is way above and beyond expectations! The Schnitzel Sandwich is so huge that could feed both me and my wide easily! Highly recommended for lunch or a quick bite!

We tried to get into 2 restaurants nearby and were treated like a nuisance. We then decided to try Tobingo Doner and the service was friendly, prices reasonable and the food was great. I would highly recommend this place to others and happily return.

When you tire of pork, potatoes and kraut...and you will, make your way to TObinGO Döner! We all had the #5 combo which was a great lunch and no one left hungry.

Possibly the best döner kebab in Franconia, but at least in Rothenburg for sure. We stopped here to have our late lunch just before closing (in fact it closed while we were eating our food nearby at 2 pm). To be sure, there aren't any viable fast food choice in the old town except this establishment. It's very convenient since they are located on Hafengasse right off the city center square. In fact, we smelled its aroma coming out of their shop just as we were passing the street and went back towards it. I got the regular döner kebab (photo), and it was very tasty and filling. My wife got döner box (photo) with French fries. The serving was very generous for her, so she became very full and couldn't finish it. Both are less than 5 €, so I think it's very reasonable. You really can't beat it. They wrap it really well, so you could easily take it as to-go as well. It's also vegetarian friendly since you really don't have to add any meat. You really don't need it, but if you really love your protein, you might go for extra meat! Yummy!
