Tobingo Döner

This is truly a hidden gem in a romantic town! Don't get fooled by the classic dinner look/atmosphere, the food here is amazing! We have limited time in town and just wanted to grab something fast, turns out the donner box is way above and beyond expectations! The Schnitzel Sandwich is so huge that could feed both me and my wide easily! Highly recommended for lunch or a quick bite!

Had an excellent late night meal here. The guys were very nice and gave us a HUGE portion. One of the better Dönors I've had and a good selection of beer in bottles.

Absolutely delicious and reasonably priced! If you dine in, it would be a bit crowded and warm. But for this price, I think it shouldn't be a complaint. I recommend the veggie burger. My wife and son had kebabs. We both think that they are juicy and yummy.

What can be better than a quick lunch in scenic Rothenburg? Heavenly. The owners and staff are very friendly and welcoming, and the food is outstanding. I had the chicken Doener and fries...very tasty!!!

Döner and durum was fantastic and had good taste. Ponmes freies was awesome. Staff spoke good English and was respectful. Food was awesome. The knlybthing i felt this was a bit expensive than normal. Falafal kostet 9.90 and menu 16.00 euro which is a bit more expensive but might be the prices is due to tourists place but would have been great if it was a bit normal prices otherwise every thing was really nice

Portions are so big compared to the prices. A very nice place where you can start your day at before your nice tour in Rothenburg. Stuff are helpful & friendly. The only issue with the place is that it was not heated in winter & a door was opened where it was really cold even in the washrooms. Food is so tasty, fresh, bread is also fresh & their salads are amazing specially their pickled pepper. Loved their food.. highly recommended.

Good food, fair price, big portions.

I had arrived at the place a tad too late, after a long train ride from Berlin; cold, hungry, and tired, and they were about to close in 10 minutes, but they were nice enough to not only allow me to order a doner kebab, but for me to eat one of the best I have had. I thanked them immensely afterwards and they were quite happy. Dankeshön Tobingo Döner, and greetings from Australia!

When you tire of pork, potatoes and kraut...and you will, make your way to TObinGO Döner! We all had the #5 combo which was a great lunch and no one left hungry.

Possibly the best döner kebab in Franconia, but at least in Rothenburg for sure. We stopped here to have our late lunch just before closing (in fact it closed while we were eating our food nearby at 2 pm). To be sure, there aren't any viable fast food choice in the old town except this establishment. It's very convenient since they are located on Hafengasse right off the city center square. In fact, we smelled its aroma coming out of their shop just as we were passing the street and went back towards it. I got the regular döner kebab (photo), and it was very tasty and filling. My wife got döner box (photo) with French fries. The serving was very generous for her, so she became very full and couldn't finish it. Both are less than 5 €, so I think it's very reasonable. You really can't beat it. They wrap it really well, so you could easily take it as to-go as well. It's also vegetarian friendly since you really don't have to add any meat. You really don't need it, but if you really love your protein, you might go for extra meat! Yummy!
