Order at the counter or from your table. Service was really quick and helpful recommendations for my first visit. The margarita I wanted was out of stock for one ingredient and so they made me a second choice and didn’t charge me for the drink!! Wow! Delicious food and super clean inside also. Fresh and hot, the tacos were super tasty and original takes on old favorite street tacos. Bathroom needs a code! Ask at the counter.

This was one of the best vegan restaurants we've been to in LA. Will definitely return food was delicious atmosphere was amazing only thing would have been better is if there were someone to greet us upon entry. We didn't know what to do because it was our first time. Despite that our hostest/server was amazing she took very good care of us and the vegan chicken tacos are amazing!

Love love Tocaya! Good vegan options. The best taco is La Flor with fried squash. I love the vegan queso, agua fresca, and churros. The ambiance is nice, especially for a non-table service spot. In the evening it’s especially nice.

The staff was friendly and helpful. the restaurant was very clean and well presented. Although, is not your typical Mexican restaurant with typical Mexican meals. But, the food was good enough and I was satisfied what's the amount they gave me. I will come back to this restaurant if I'm in the DTLA area.

So tasty, I'd definitely come back. The service was fast, and everybody was so attentive and nice. The place is clean and beautiful. I highly recommend!

Amazing flavors, amazing service with knowledgeable staff. I am celiac and ate here safely and confidently. The gluten free quesadilla was everything I needed it to be.

What a pleasant experience! Kind staff, amazing food menu, and the vibe is prefect. Nice music selection. Will be a regular.

Good food but service was a bit slow. It took 1-2 minutes to be helped, as staff were busy fulfilling food delivery orders. I placed an order at the counter around 3:30 for a torta combo (side + agua Fresca). Was able to substitute vegan cheese at no additional cost. Agua Fresca was served immediately (resembles kombucha in taste profile) which I enjoyed. The side I ordered, plantain chips + guacamole, was served in 18 minutes. I thought the portion of chips was fairly generous, and both chips and guacamole were light on the salt. Torta was served at 21 minutes. It was a bit smaller than I expected, but flavor was great and it was served with a bright salsa. I wouldn’t say the torta on its own was worth the price but the combo was worth it in my opinion. Upper balcony was closed when I visited, seats had outlets available. Atmosphere was bright and airy (lots of natural light) and good music. If you have some time to spare, I would definitely pay a visit.
