We came across Tofu Chaya Hayashi Nakamise by chance when we were at Yoshinoyama. Because I didn’t have a chance to eat at a famous tofu restaurant at Nara station, I decided to have a meal here. It was the best meal of the trip (caveat: I’m not much of a carnivore). I was so happy with the meal, from the thick unsweetened soya milk (like home made!) to the set lunch (everything was so fresh!) I ordered to the beautiful surroundings that is Yoshinoyama - I would come here again not only for Sakuras but also trek here to eat if ever I’m in Nara again.
