A must-visit cafe when in Yoshinoyama village! The tofu parfait is lovingly decorated by the owner and the presentation is impeccable. The lunch sets look amazing although we were too full to order. Best of all, you get to view the cherry blossoms when you sit next to the window.

The Mapo Ramen was delicious, especially after a hike up the mountain and back.

Expect to line up for a bit, seam to this place is popular and is a waiting list. They do several preparation with tofu and all what we tasted was nice, service was polite and helpful. Is nice to skip meat and fish sometimes and this place is a nice option. Price was nice too and they have a variety on nihonshu on the menu.

Although it’s a tofu restaurant, the meal was pretty filling and yummy too. Price is okay, 1000-1300yen for a lunch set. We saw only Japanese names on the waiting list so was a bit nervous about communication. The staff’s english was not that good (they just spoke Japanese to us most of the time). Tho their attitudes and gestures were very polite. Food came surprisingly fast.

An enjoyable meal made up of a variety of tofu dishes with their tofu from a local Yoshino tofu factory 309 meters away, healthy and tasty!

We visited during Sakura season and , after 45 minutes wait (good sign), ordered Tofu based lunch in this restaurant. It was amazing. Typical Japanese meal with rice, miso soup, pickles and of course Tofu. Very happy to have waited.
