If you have a favorite color or a signature palette you're sticking to for your upcoming trip, this is the place for you. The yellow and black stripes will grab you as you zoom by on the commuter train. Inside, the swatch book of eye-popping hues continues as purples and blues coat the common spaces and rooms. Opt for the moody blue color for a calming, restful retreat, or avocado green for a dynamic pop. Hallways sliced down the middle by different shades of paint make for particularly fun Instagramming as you toe the line between two brash commitments to color. Neighborhood Baseball enthusiasts will enjoy being close to the Tokyo Dome, but really the Iidabashi area makes for a convenient escape across town to Shinjuku or Ueno. It’s well worth walking around the cobblestone streets of Kagurazaka nearby, an old geisha district that’s now home to some of the city’s best restaurants." - Brandon Presser

The location is okay, but if you have a lot of luggages i don’t really recommend. The nearest train station exit has no elevator. We basically had to tow out luggages through numerous flight of stairs The train is just right next to the room, the noise kinda amplified. If you are a light sleeper, don’t really recommend. Stay somewhere else with better space and comfort. Customer service was bad too, yeah i do know we late for check out. Checkout was at 11. At 11.15, one of the staff came and knocked on our door not asking but demanding why we are yet to check out. I said 10 minutes, we almost done. Out of goodwill, she said 11.30. Or else will have to charge us. By 11.30 our bags are already out and she came to us and said. You have to pay 1200 yen for late check out, not asking, but demanding. No sorry nothing. The room is not even cheap, please spend your money somewhere else with better customer service and facilities. The carpets are full of stains as well Strongly not recommended.

We stayed in two hotels while in Tokyo last week, this was the second one we stayed in. We arrived before 12noon so the staff kindly checked us in and stored our luggage so we could still go out. Our luggage was moved to our rooms once they were available. We had a pink Loft Room Type A. The room is comfortable for two people, but maybe cosy for three people if you are travelling with full size suitcases like we were. We liked having a separate living area. The hotel is located between the Chuo train line to its south and an overhead motorway to its north. Our room was under the motorway, so we did not hear any noise from the train or the motorway. The room, however, was not soundproof. On the first night a group of ladies were in the next room, and they were making a lot of noise like any group of good friends having a girls night out in a small room. We could hear their music, laughing and screaming and after midnight I finally had to bang on our shared wall for them to stop. The second night had different occupants, probably a small family with a young child because we could hear that poor child coughing during the night. To be fair, another family member was on the 4th floor green room and said it was quiet. I do think the pink rooms are most popular as the carpet In room was very worn out, while the green room looked in better condition. The room is equipped with basic amenities: kettle, teabags (no coffee), toothbrush kit, hairdryer, liquid soap, shampoo and conditioner - and a very small fridge. There is also laundry facilities but we did not use during our stay. While we were checking in, there was another guest who asked to change rooms because his room faced the train line and it was too noisy. Unfortunately for him, the hotel was fully booked. The hotel is located a very short walk from the Suidobashi train station…and around that area are quite a few dining options. The hotel is less than 30mins from Shinjuku. The hotel is very popular, I guess the coloured floors is a fun novelty and I noticed many of the guests were locals doing short staycations as they only had small overnight bags at checkout. The hotel gave us suggestions for travel to Narita (see photo below), but we ended up taking a 15min taxi ride to the Keisei-Ueno train station where we took the fast train to the airport (you can book in advance, and the trip is 40mins). Hotel is good value and if you are a light sleeper I would recommend earbuds. Avoid a room facing the train line.

When I visited Japan from the US in 2023, this was probably my favorite hotel I stayed at. Very affordable rates. The rooms, as you might have seen by the photos, are incredibly pretty. They are also very well cleaned and organized. The employees were very kind. They reheated food I had gotten from a konbini. Most important was when my travelling partner fell sick and the workers actually gave us the number and location of an urgent care center for them to go to. I was really touched by the effort they went through for us.

We loved our stay at toggle hotel. Staff were very warm and welcoming, and assisted with our luggage forwarding at the end of our stay. Our room was the loft style room on the pink floor, which was very spacious and clean. The hotel itself is conveniently located, very close to 2 stations and multiple convenience stores. Will definitely be back when we visit Tokyo again!

I didn’t really enjoy my stay here, but I would say it wasn’t particularly bad, just full of slight annoyances. Our room was purple, which was novel at first sight, but the lighting was rather poor. The beds were two floor level futons pushed together, with curtains that wrapped around the entire room. This would have been fine if it wasn’t so dusty, as was the air which wasn’t filtered. The shape and design of the room made it hard to navigate with two people, no room to place objects, open suitcases, etc. The bathroom was the nicest part, on the bigger side for hotels here. Maybe this isn’t fair but I also hated the water, it felt hard and I couldn’t drink it either. The staff were gracious but I definitely was excited to check out.

This is my go to hotel when I stay in Tokyo. It’s away from the really touristy parts of Tokyo but still super quick to get the subway to anywhere in the city. The rooms have everything you need and I have the best nights sleeps here. The cafe has odd hours for coffee but I’m more than happy to go elsewhere as there are so many choices

Very good location if you are going to watch a concert at Tokyo Dome! Price is reasonable, breakfast food is just right, staff are very courteous and friendly. It is also within walking distance of the train station. Since we did not expect much and only needed a nice place to stay in while we were in Tokyo, our overall experience at this hotel was good enough. It suited our basic needs. No frills and no fuss.

The location is horrible. It feels like an IKEA for hotels. This is not a 3 or 4 star. Staying in room 702 is hell being next to a highway and we tried asking for two extra pillows and to possibly move rooms which was ignored.
