Tokkotai - Time Out Market Porto

It's a vibe. The talented staff their are very kind. If you can't get a table at the main house - like me, I hope you enjoy this lucky find as much as I did, two days in a row!

Great sushi on the upper floor of the Time Out market. Very fresh fish carefully prepared. They were very nice to us and even presented us with some complimentary dishes.

Really nice food with good price quality ratio. The staff was really nice and good atmosphere.

The sushi here is surprisingly tasty for a food court spot. The fish is fresh and well-prepared, and everything I tried was really satisfying. However, the menu is quite limited. There aren’t many options to choose from, and unfortunately, you can’t even order individual salmon sashimi — it’s only available as part of a mixed sashimi plate. It would be great if they expanded the menu a bit to allow more flexibility.

The homemade lemonade was great but it was the coldest bowl of ramen I have ever been served. The egg was perfectly cooked gooey yoke as it should be but stone cold out of the fridge temperature which was confusing. While the soup itself was cool the noodles were overcooked again I can’t explain that. The charsu pork itself was great with burnt edges but again the bowl was luke warm.

Sushi was pre-made and kept in the fridge for long enough for the fish to become completely dry. All the other food stands prepared the food straight after the order; it emphasizes how bad the food from here was.

Timeout market is lovely but I wish I chose something else to eat. Sushi was bland & just okay - I only ate half
