A highly recommended place. There's a 300 yen entrance fee, but it's worth a visit. The peaceful atmosphere and lack of crowds make it a great place to take your time exploring. It's also well-decorated, making it a great place for taking photos. Highly recommended.

Perfect for people who like to enjoy quiet moments. I came in summer but this place would definitely be better in spring or fall. The lake is serene and the koi fishes are friendly. The forest-ish side has mosquitoes, so if you're coming in the summer, be sure to have insect repellent. 100¥ off if you have the 24 hour rail pass.

This is a must visit place if you just want to relax and enjoy nature setting after a long city tours... You can just sit amd enjoy people, fish and bird watching.. You can just hangout and do photoshoots here.. For me its best to come here in the morning, to avoid crowds. Morning breeze and sun are the best...

I came in late afternoon and it's beautiful. Not too big to walk and vwry cozy quiet place. If come in Fall would be even more beautiful (when I came they're still green a bit). Love this place.

Passed by this beautiful garden while passing by Nagoya, went inside for a morning walk and it didn't disappoint, although its December the views were beautiful and I'm sure it will be stunning during the spring as I've seen so many cherry blossom trees there.

Serene and peaceful gardens. Loved Ieyasu Tokugawa and the family legacy he left down 400 years ago. A true Shogun and it reflects in the beautiful gardens he's left behind.
