We stayed for 7nights in a family room during December break, which consisted of two beds, a bunk bed for the kids, and a small coffee table with chairs. This is a popular room type and is often sold out. The Tokyo Bay Shiomi Prince Hotel was a wonderful place to stay, it’s just a few minutes' walk from the Shiomi Station and only three stops from Disney. While it is a bit farther from other major areas like Shinjuku, Shibuya, and the Pokémon Cafe, they are still easily accessible with a couple of subway transfers.
The hotel has great amenities. Although there isn't a swimming pool, there is a traditional bathhouse. It was a unique experience for us since everyone is undressed, and while the kids were nervous and skipped the first session, they eventually loved it and went daily! The ladies' section has two hot pools and a steam sauna, while the men's side has hot and cold pools with a dry sauna. It was also interesting to use the seated shower cubicles. We loved the ReFa shower heads so much that we actually bought the newest version at a local store!
Additionally, there is a Family Mart downstairs for snacks and essentials. The self-serve laundry is affordable and located on the same floor as the bathhouse. I recommend going late at night or very early (around 5:00 AM) as it gets busy. Overall, we were very pleased and will definitely be back!
