Overall a good experience. My partner and I spent from about 9.30am - 2pm there on a weekday. I'd recommend downloading the app and registering prior to your visit, and booking any sit down restaurants you want to early on as it was impossible to get a booking on the day. We didn't opt for any express passes as we weren't into rides but would 100% recommend purchasing one as wait times were at least 150mins for most rides (on a weekday). There were lots of exciting things to see even if rides aren't your thing.

Tokyo Disneyland... Really amazing. Daytime and evening parades... Awesome 👍.. cool, interesting attractions. The park is spacious and well laid out.. not a lot of quick dining or other food options... So clean, beautiful. By far, better than USA Disney World... Not expensive at all compared to the US. I strongly recommend their version of fast pass... Worth it, as some attractions have long wait times. I also suggest to foreigners visiting the park... Bring your own food if possible.. Strongly recommend.

This was a really neat experience! We've been to Disney World in Florida, so this was our first experience at a different Disney World. The "lightning lane" pass system is great. The food is much more affordable and better quality (for quick service). The rides are really fun! Some overlap with how they are in the US, but others are totally unique! We really enjoyed our time here.

Great theme park with very nice staff. The food is quite cheap by Disney Park standards, and is very tasty. I recommend getting the Disney Premier Tickets for each ride you want to go on, it will save you hours of waiting. They are a little bit expensive but worth it.

My family really enjoyed Tokyo Disney Land. We went on about half a dozen rides including Splash Mountain, Snow White, Pirates of the Caribbean and Star Tours. Food options were fine although it is hard of you have allergies. They have a great app that shows what is available to eat if you select your allergies. Hundreds of people were dressed in costumes and there was a wonderful atmosphere in the park. Gift shops and merchandise were well priced. We had a great time.

Happiest place on Earth, more so than the original one at Anaheim. Extremely friendly staff though everything is in Japanese and thus affects comprehension otherwise everything is perfect. The food choices are insane with many cute food choices that one can just order to take photos of. The merchandise choice is also crazy with so many cute toys and Knick knacks begging us to part with our cash. Rides wise, the beauty and the beast is worth getting the paid pass. Otherwise, the parades are great and visitors put out their mats early to get a good roadside view. Suitable for both children and adults alike.

Magical Adventure at Disneyland! Disneyland is truly the happiest place on earth! The rides, parades, and characters create an unforgettable experience for all ages. The attention to detail in every corner of the park is incredible, and the staff is always friendly and helpful. From thrilling attractions to delicious snacks, everything was perfect.

It was exactly what I expected from Disneyland..... Amazing. Rides were good for the younger kids. Food was ample around the park and not bad priced for a theme park. Wear your walking shoes as there is a lot of space to cover

Yelp
It was an amazing time at Disney Sea! We arrived in the evening and enjoyed every minute. The place was crowded. So, just know that there are long lines to get on rides (30-60 minutes). There are musical light shows and movies. Trains to take you to different attractions at the park. There are restaurants and gift shops to patronize. The staff is professional, friendly, and organized. Most people take the train to Disney Sea because it's more convenient. The ticket prices vary on day and time. Taxi, subway, and bus are available.

Yelp
Truly the happiest place on earth! I grew up going to Tokyo Disney that I was shocked to see how unhappy the staffs are at the original Disneyland in CA. Every single worker here is very very nice. Everything is pretty well organized and efficient, but still expect to wait even for a popcorn food cart. Stores on Main Street are absolutely madness near closing so you prob wanna go mid-day or purchase online beforehand. The rides they offer genie passes (all individual purchase) are Beauty and Beast, Bay Max and Splash Mountain (yes they still have it at Tokyo Disney). The wait is longer than what you see in the States because it is more crowded in general. I went on a less crowded day recently, but still had to wait about 30min for all the kiddie rides and 90min for Baymax ride. I could not even line up for Beauty and Beast towards late afternoon because they closed the standby line (about 3 hours wait). You would have to line up early in the morning or buy Genie pass (also gets sold out so buy early). Because it is so crowded that they have to do lottery system for some shows sadly. (I did not get any but was able to see some parts of Mickey Jumboree from outside). But I still love it here because food is way better, the merch are way cuter and staff is way nicer.

Yelp
Tokyo Disney resort is very similar to the Disneyland in Anaheim. I enjoyed trying out all the different popcorn flavors at the park, popcorn is genuinely different here! They have flavors like milk tea and soy sauce and Curry. We also got to eat the little green alien mochi which I think is exclusive to Tokyo Disney! The food is all so cute too!

Yelp
I went to Disney Sea last time and the lines were insane. I wouldn't have come back except one of my friends really wanted to go. This time we went to Tokyo Disney. Again, the lines were horrible. The minimum wait was 60 minutes for the less popular rides and 190 minutes for the Beauty and the Beast ride. We only made it on one ride. The fireworks were canceled due to weather. When we decided to go eat, the lines were long for every place. I wanted to try some snacks, but again, lines, lines and more lines. I will not wait in line for an hour for popcorn. We tried going in to the store, but again, waited to get inside and then it was so packed inside you're basically shoved along by the crowd. If you want to turn back to look at something, forget about it. The most offensive part is that the parks are separated so there's a monorail. Disney charges for the monorail, which is absolutely outrageous. It should be included in the ticket price. I didn't enjoy this excursion at all and would not come back.

Yelp
The only other Disneyland I can compare this too due to personal experience is the one in Anaheim, and I have to say I was AMAZED by this park. 110% better than the one in California (sorry, I hate to say it). Tokyo Disney and DisneySea are incredible. The cast members are all very polite, kind and inviting, and yes a lot of them speak a bit of English! The park is very similarly set up to the Disneyland in California, but food and rides just are on another level. Pooh's Hunny Hunt and Beauty and the Beast are trackless rides - basically the most amazing theme park, non-rollercoaster rides I've ever been on in my entire life. Meals, snacks, souvenirs, etc. all pretty inexpensive and I was shocked! I visited December 2021 and again just this past October and both trips were amazing. December was obviously pretty cold, so bundle up. October was actually pretty nice for weather even though it was a bit cloudy. I had a long sleeve on under a hoodie with some jeans and it was a comfy day! Check out my TikToks from my trip! Yelp
Wonderful theme park with so many unique features belonging only to Tokyo Disney! I've been going to Tokyo Disney for over 30 years. Although their rides are not as exciting as Orlando, it has a charm of its own. Great family/friend experience!!! 5 stars!!

Yelp
This is among, it's not the greatest theme park resort ever. During my last visit I was only able to go visit Tokyo Disney Sea, but even after a lifetime of visiting other theme parks and especially Disney theme parks around the world, this is the single greatest one. Coupling Disney's track record of excellent customer service and experiences with Japan's undefeated perfection in hospitality and friendliness created something that was far beyond my lofty positive expectations. It's hard to fit everything I experienced and felt within one review, but I will try. Transportation between the parks, downtown Disney, and everything else nearby is incredibly convenient with lots of different transportation options, most notably the Disney shovel. From the moment you step onto one of the shuttles, immersive decoration and fun are showcased. The parks themselves are incredibly immersive, stepping from Mediterranean city streets into old time New York City, and from the busy streets of the Arabian coast to mysterious island, all of it is breathtaking. The rides are among the most immersive, creative, and memorable experiences ever conceived; Tower of terror, Journey to the Center of the Earth, 20,000 leagues under the sea, exploring the fort around Magellan's, and all of the rides within the Lost Delta are highlights even among such diamonds. The food is top notch, there are a little to no bad options here, and all of it is fairly affordable as well. Speaking of prices, the parks both here and in Terrace are only about half the price of those in the United States and offer arguably More pure imaginative experiences than the other parks in the United States do, focusing less on current popular trends and IP's and instead seeking to deliver immersive, creative, and purely enjoyable experiences. It's like the Imagineers placed in charge of these particular parks simply were let off their leashes for the first time ever since the opening of the original park under Walt Disney's watch and were allowed to create the way they wanted to. The results are unparalleled, and for far more reasonable prices in regards to everything. This love and care can easily be felt by visitors themselves. Even waiting in line here for anything is enjoyable because of the polite nature of everyone in attendance. Overall, I cannot recommend the tokyo Disney resort enough. I would even recommend it over visiting Walt Disney World, receiving less in quantity but far more in quality and bang for your buck. This is how the theme park experience should always be and should be the gold standard that all other theme park should be trying to reach.

Yelp
Visited from California with a group of friends!! It was so cute!! I loved it!! Loved all the mickey mouse shaped food! (burgers, chicken nuggets, bread) guys even the soap dispensers dispense the soap in the shape of mickey mouse!! The park was kind of small compared to the one in California but it was just as fun!! And guests are allowed to dress up which I thought was cool because adults are not allowed to dress up in the California Disney park. The workers were so helpful and friendly!! They smiled and waved and even helped us out when we were lost.

Yelp
(Overall rating 5+/5 stars) Yelp Review Challenge 2019 - 1/?? What better way to kick off the new year than by visiting and reviewing the Magic Kingdom in Japan? Like most imported things here, the Japanese have not only preserved the magic of Disney, but have raised the bar in terms of quality and branded delight. Highlights: ++ Facilities 5/5 stars (breakdown of key areas below) * Disneyland - Happiest Place on Earth! * Disney Sea - Happiest Place on the Seven Seas! (according to Captain Jack Sparrow)(And the ONLY Disney Sea in the world) * Ikispiari - Wonderful themed shopping mall featuring a multiplex theater, shopping (duh), dining and...a Disney Store ;-) * Disney Resort Hotels -The premiere Disney experience with Mickey everything (depends on which one you choose - reservations a year in advance are common!) * Major hotels around the resort perimeter! - Great selection of top-flight domestic and international hotels (EARLY reservations highly recommended) ++ Parking: 4/5 (plenty available depending on your destination. Validated for the shopping mall; by park for the others. Many hotels include deals/free parking if you're a guest there)(Minus 1-star for the high prices) ++ Access: 4.5/5 (by train for non-drivers - less than 15 minutes from JR Tokyo station on the express train (Keiyō line). Clearly marked exit signs off the expressway and arterial streets for you drivers)) ++ Disability Access: 4.5/5 (throughout the resort, wheelchairs available for rent, coin lockers and thoughtful design details to accommodate wheelchairs, elderly and others with physical mobility challenges) ++ Hospitality: 5+/5 (within the parks; YMMV at other facilities especially if they are private, chain businesses)(Tip: Special VIP treatment if you're visiting on your birthday - ask at admissions!) So how can you go wrong whether it's a special date, family outing or bash with friends? There's more than enough to fill your calendar for two solid days. It's familiar and unique at the same time - jaded fans will acquire a new appreciation of Disney and the impeccable delivery of the experiences in Japan. P.S. Oh, and annual passes for single or double park admission anytime - a bit pricey though, except for die-hard fans like so many here in Japan.

Yelp
I had a great time at Tokyo Disneyland! The Japanese craze for Disneyland is unparalleled, so make sure you arrive early (before it opens), and try to hop on the popular rides, or the wait times will get ridiculously long. Download the app that tells you wait times in real time to help you plan your way around the park! It gets really cold at night in winter due to the wind, so prepare and dress accordingly! The Japanese people wait in line for EVERYTHING so do not be surprised to see long lines, or groups of people camping out for the best parade viewing spot hours in advance. Food/ snacks/ shopping is the other highlight in the park. Definitely try out the various popcorn flavors and the park exclusive items.

Yelp
Went in December to January , would HIGHLY RECOMMEND making the trip. We came from California , took our 5 year old and 1 year old. To this day our 5 year old wants to go back to Japan. We are going to California adventures in October and honestly it will not measure up! Planning on going again in 1 year!

Yelp
This was my first Disney ever! It was really cute and fun. We came two hours after opening so we missed the fast pass. I had a really bad headache and went to the first aide location and they gave me some ibuprofen. I can't compare it to any other location since I've only been to this one but it was kinda small.
