Good was so good ! And the salmon which I had was amazingly fabulous It is more like a cafe than a restaurant inside but the kitchen pushes out some amazing food ! All looked delicious- I had the vegetable dumplings then salmon rice dish that came with miso They were busy had a big group out the front but food came reasonably quickly Maybe only (very small thing) was that I ordered green tea and the cup was half full also miso soup was only half full of water - bit odd but small thing This restaurant was really good if you like Japanese and it was not overly expensive either - not much atmosphere but makes it up with great food !

food was amazing!! we ordered a chicken stir fry noodles (5/5), chicken curry (5/5), karaage chicken (3/5 - just thought it was too dry and needed some more sauce and/or salad, otherwise the karaage was super fresh and yummy), spicy chicken dumplings (4/5 - could’ve had a little bit more filling and seasoning but overall good and may try the prawns ones later). staff was super friendly!! the quantity was decent (had food at lunch and was full till 7pm and only needed a light meal for dinner). definitely worth your money!!

The best Ramen and Dumplings I've had in Australia since I visited Japan last year, even then its up there with the best ever.! Was in cairns only 5days and we ate dinner here twice. Recommend 1000%

I ate here several times, ordering the spicy ramen, dumplings, and takoyaki. All were delicious. The staff are very friendly and attentive.

Been here a couple of times. Most recently ordered the crumbed chicken Japanese curry. It was a little more spicy than I've had at many other places but flavour was still enjoyable. The food didn't take long to be served, had no issues with the service, and the reasonably priced.

Decided to dine here because it had a fair few good reviews. Ordered large sashimi platter. Waitress came out as she served other food and told us they had ‘run out’. This should have been known from moment of ordering. Ramen broth is neither thick or creamy. Octopus, dumplings were over fried and oily Agedashi tofu was pleasant. Beef tataki was not tender, and not enough ponzu dressing. Ordered udon in soup and it arrived as fried udon. The bill came with the sashimi platter charged, and we had to request it to be reversed as their sashimi was not available. Customer service here is very mediocre. Staff difficulty understanding English, wave arms around for service due to poor attention through night.

The food was all perfect. All the staff were very friendly and nice. It's the best Japanese restaurant in Cairns! I will visit again :) Highly recommended 👍👍

This was disappointing. I had chicken katsudon. It was $1 more than the chicken katsu so I figured I'd try it. Adding "don" to a dish in Japanese makes it a set meal. What I received was chicken katsu on a bed of rice with the katsu cooked in a bit of egg, plus a small miso soup. I know it's only $1 more but to me it wasn't worth the extra cost. The chicken katsu itself was cooked OK -- not moist meat & appetising but also not terrible. A friend with me had the dumplings plate. His comment was that some were OK but none were spicy as he'd ordered, and several of them split open making them difficult to eat. I doubt we'll be back as there are lots of other places to eat in the same area.
