Food is great at a reasonable price! It’s not easy to find places with good food and around $20. I got the tonkatsu set and it gave me a really good portion of pork. It comes with a bowl of rice, miso soup, two dipping sauces and sesame seeds. The dipping sauce is delicious. Tonkatsu is crispy and juicy. My friends all got Omurice and some with add ons. The curry sauce is really good. Egg is cooked perfectly and the seasoned rice is delicious. Service is also great. They always check in with us and top up the tea. I will definitely come back and try other food.

Tokyo in April has a calm ambiance. It's great for small groups, dates, or solo dining. Love the decor & wall art. Had the Uni Salmon Oshi & agedashi tofu. Both were delicious. The matcha tiramisu cake tasted more like ice cream. If it were thawed a bit longer (a few hours), the texture would be softer, more like cake. Staff were welcoming & friendly. Server was nice. He asked me if i enjoyed my meal & didn't mind my honest feedback. Overall, a pleasant dinner. Would love to come back to try more items on their menu.

everything is really quite yummy and the portions are MASSIVE for a really fair price. the omurice (which was blue!!!) is probably the best in vancouver — the egg was super silky and so incredibly soft, and the rice had little chunks of meat that really elevated the dish. i got a tonkatsu add on, and it was super crispy and hot, and the sweet sauce on top paired really well with the savoury omurice. also the colour of the omurice doesn’t really change the taste! highlights for the appetizers were karage and chicken nanban. the karage was PIPING hot and was super juicy and flavourful, and it was great when eaten with the cold refreshing cabbage. the chicken nanban didn’t have the same crispy, but the coating was still addictive and the tartar sauce was perfect — not too acidic or tangy. the egg bomb was extremely underwhelming — the taste was mild and awkward and the coating wasn’t very crispy at all.

Food is good and satisfied with the portion (not as great as the price but decent.), staffs are very friendly, not particularly in a safe neighbourhood but overall great dine-in.

The curry omurice was good, but the star of the show for me has to be the blue fin tuna cones. I could eat so many of those, it really does melt in your mouth and you're immediately hit with umami. Service was friendly and fast, the waiter who presented the omurice to us brought many smiles and a fresh clean cut revealing the fluffy blanket of eggs gently covered the rice. The curry was a bit thinner in consistency than your usual Japanese curry. Overall 8/10, I would visit again.

The red dragon roll was my favourite. We were seated quickly but had some issues with service- friendly but not that attentive. To be fair I think the other tables had a buzzer and we didn’t so we were just waiting. Overall cute place with good food so I would go again.

Amazing food! I celebrated my birthday here with my family, the food is amazing. The price is extremely affordable, the omirice is the best I had in my life! And the service is also really good!
