Food is great at a reasonable price! It’s not easy to find places with good food and around $20. I got the tonkatsu set and it gave me a really good portion of pork. It comes with a bowl of rice, miso soup, two dipping sauces and sesame seeds. The dipping sauce is delicious. Tonkatsu is crispy and juicy. My friends all got Omurice and some with add ons. The curry sauce is really good. Egg is cooked perfectly and the seasoned rice is delicious. Service is also great. They always check in with us and top up the tea. I will definitely come back and try other food.

It is the first time I have entered this restaurant and I loved it, their menu is very extensive, they have unique and personalized dishes, the service is incredible, they served us quickly, in a cordial and friendly manner. The presentation of the food is impeccable, perfect temperature and cooking. Don't forget to order your dessert, Tokio toast is a must to have, extremely delicious. I will definitely return, thank you very much Kevin for recommending this gem of Vancouver to me.

The food was great! On linch time the bento deal is really good option for the price! And the service is amazing! Their server really took a good care of each tables even though it’s busy. Wonderful experience overall!

The whole scallop was too cold, like ice cream, and the fried rice with the omurice was too hard. The service could be better. Overall, it’s not bad for the price, but it was below my expectations and its reputation.

everything is really quite yummy and the portions are MASSIVE for a really fair price. the omurice (which was blue!!!) is probably the best in vancouver — the egg was super silky and so incredibly soft, and the rice had little chunks of meat that really elevated the dish. i got a tonkatsu add on, and it was super crispy and hot, and the sweet sauce on top paired really well with the savoury omurice. also the colour of the omurice doesn’t really change the taste! highlights for the appetizers were karage and chicken nanban. the karage was PIPING hot and was super juicy and flavourful, and it was great when eaten with the cold refreshing cabbage. the chicken nanban didn’t have the same crispy, but the coating was still addictive and the tartar sauce was perfect — not too acidic or tangy. the egg bomb was extremely underwhelming — the taste was mild and awkward and the coating wasn’t very crispy at all.

The curry omurice was good, but the star of the show for me has to be the blue fin tuna cones. I could eat so many of those, it really does melt in your mouth and you're immediately hit with umami. Service was friendly and fast, the waiter who presented the omurice to us brought many smiles and a fresh clean cut revealing the fluffy blanket of eggs gently covered the rice. The curry was a bit thinner in consistency than your usual Japanese curry. Overall 8/10, I would visit again.

I ordered sushi here, but unfortunately it didn’t live up to expectations. The fish quality was below average compared to many sushi spots in Vancouver, and the overall taste was quite disappointing. The service was also rather slow.

Amazing food! I celebrated my birthday here with my family, the food is amazing. The price is extremely affordable, the omirice is the best I had in my life! And the service is also really good!
