April 4, 2025 Cherry blossoms in full bloom all the way along a very nice walk from Nogizaka station. Not crowded during the day on a weekday and I had a wonderful time. Lots of colorful flowers planted in its garden, and petals falling into the fountain made for a lovely scene.

High end shopping mall in Roppongi. Lots of interesting food shops on the lower floors with a separate section for more restaurants at one end of the building. We didn’t do much shopping as we were there to eat, but lots of interesting things to see. Very clean mall with good clean facilities.

The mall has beautiful architecture and design, with a nice park right next to it. There were also quite a few Doraemons around for photo opportunities.

Visited March 2024. It's a higher end shopping complex/business park. I came to visit the surrounding park to see their cherry blossom illuminations, but I was too early. Would consider coming back for the illumination and Starbucks reserve roastery, but was not really interested in the shopping complex itself.

Tokyo Midtown is a high end shopping center and business park with many shops, cafes and restaurants. It’s very foreigner friendly. The nearby green space is great place to relax. Highly recommended for a family or corporate stay. It’s more expensive than other areas but also more convenient. Tradeoffs of travel, right?

Miyu S.

Google
These illuminations are so so beautiful✨ The staffs told us not to stop, but most people tried to take pictures. I thought that illumination without being gazed is nonsense, so what the staffs required is weird. If you use a wide angle, you can take nice photos. However, there are too many people, so other people would appear in the photo, which is not good.

Yelp
Christmas lights, scenery, and decorations all at one Mall: Tokyo Midtown in Minato City's Roppongi area. There was a red poster board which pointed out the various elements: 1. Christmas Garden Lights - outside... very spectacular with blinking lights which change color, smokey effects, cheerful music, and bubbles! 2. Emotional Palette Tree - outside... beautiful! 3. Promenade of Lights - outside... regal! 4. Santa Tree - in the Galleria... intriguing! 5. Christmas Ensemble - wasn't playing when we were there 6. Christmas Marché - Ground level of the Galleria... many little shops! 7. Feathery Snow Tree - hanging in the Galleria... beautiful! Irene found every single feature. It's too bad that the ensemble wasn't playing when we were there. Thank you, Irene, for bringing joy to us, sharing the joy of the Christmas Season, and igniting the flame of the Christmas Spirit in us!

Yelp
I hope I'm reviewing correctly cuz I can't read Japanese. Located across the walkway of the Starlight Gardenwith two traffic guards to keep us safe. Animated lighting, music, 3 minute interval bubbles show. The crowd was in awe snapping photos, even kiddies taking photos. Cute infants being carried or pushed in strollers dressed warmly. Definitely not for a Scroogey audience- who could resist such wonder and beauty? Across the way is Midtown Tokyo complex complete with omiyage shops, very eye catching pricey merchandise and a super market plus restaurants. There also were a couple booths selling Christmas decorations like an indoor Christmas market with tiny ornaments and pretty to the max.

Yelp
Tokyo Midtown... Honestly never been...never heard...happy to have visited for their Christmas Illumination 2025 as I see they've had this for several years though on this particular day there was an event so the usual time that starts at 5pm started at 715pm which was okay as there was so much to see throughout the Galleria which is the name of the shopping building. This three level complex is filled with various shops more on the designer styles though on the B1 level are the food items with a small grocery store, restaurants and gift shop including Dean & Deluca. The Christmas Market is found here with about four kiosk filled with all things Christmas. The 1F has the stunning Santa Tree as it's filled with all different Santa and his friends along with snowflakes the waterfall stream down the center is a centerpiece I've never seen and as beautiful it is...it was so calming as many gather for pics just stare at it in an abyss. Christmas Garden Lights the reason for this visit as I've heard of bubbles and beautiful lit lights and is exactly that though with the event part of the area is still closed as they were frantically packing up tents and equipment forcing the crowd to stay on one area got crowded but all managed to enjoy the light show with music as the light danced to the beat there was the bubbles though was quite small all made the show something we all enjoyed. Right beside also outside is the walkway of light is what Japan does best is to light every branch of the tress with lights as the crisp cold air 48 degrees on this particular night brings the winter weather a beautiful display. Within these trees is the "Emotion Palette Tree" their fir tree with that theme this year is just that as every year there's an emotion and what is yours.... どうもありがとうtございます!

Yelp
Beautiful area of Tokyo. Especially loved this mall. There were great stores and they were also unique compared to other departments that only carry brands you've seen everywhere. There is also a movie theater on the top floor with a garden that has great views of the city. It was unfortunately closed the day I went. Basement level is the food court area and has a 711. Highly recommend I had a blast shopping here and was just more affordable and less crowded than other spots.

Yelp
A beautiful and clean building with great stores. They often have fantastic wine tasting events. Location: Close to Roppongi station.

Yelp
From a mother's perspective: I don't shop at Midtown because it's too expensive but, Midtown has become my son's playground. LOL. When I need to release some energy from my son on a rainy day or a VERY HOT day, we go up to the 3rd floor of Midtown where there's not many people and I let him roam around. I get to window shop while keeping my eye on him and soon he'll be ready for a nap in the stroller. In the basement floor, there is a food hall with a vegan restaurant, vietnamese restaurant, sushi, and others for either stay in or take out. The seating spaces at these restaurants are small so since it can be a challenge to eat seated with my son in a small space, I opt to take out food and sit at the public tables located towards the back entrance that leads to Hinokicho park. My son is comfortable in the big black chairs, he's able to sit still, and when he's done eating, he can chase the pigeons. HA! They also have a dean and deluca, and 2 other coffee spots. I love that there is also Precce in the BF1. They have carts with a child seat making it easy for me to put him in the cart while I do my shopping. Lastly, if you need a stroller/pram while you shop, you can rent a bugaboo stroller from the reception desks. There are 2 reception desks that have them. I don't know if there is a fee to borrow one because I've never tried but at least it's nice to know that they are available. You can get here from the Roppongi station on the Hibiya or Oedo Line - the Oedo line is closer as the exit goes straight into the BF of Midtown!

Yelp
One of the two large shopping complexes in the Roppongi Area. Compared to the Skyscraper style Roppongi Hills, Midtown is more of a flat and wide space. Inside is a mixed with restaurants, fashion, museum, popups, beer garden, etc. Its also connected to the Ritz Carlton Hotel, with a very beautiful garden and with sakura trees lined up across the road. The park area is open to public so feel free to chill in the area even if you didn't buy anything!

Yelp
Great place to shop Amazing place to spend the afternoon and take a stroll around. Lots of eateries, shops and other entertainment in one little area. Mainly locals, so not very touristy. Great spot to take a date too.

Yelp
Tokyo Midtown is a high end department store. This place was huge and so freaking beautiful. No malls I've been to compares to this! Lots of high end department stores, so shop to your heart's desires. The decor and architecture of this place is out of this world. Love!

Yelp
I love Tokyo Midtown for 6198371 reasons. Personally, I used to stay at the apartment above so I know Tokyo Midtown more than anyone else. And imagine you wake up on a typical Summer hot rainy day in Tokyo, you just take the elevator to Midtown for grocery, coffee shop, restaurants, clothes, even Muji and uniqlo. Most of the stores there sell high end Japanese stuff. The place is not just clean and sleek, it also has a lot of nice decor and art pieces al over the mall. They also have awesome art events and exhibitions and stuff from time to time, pretty entertaining. Suntory Museum of Art is there too. Ritz is right next to it by the way. FYI it's at the Roppongi station exit 8!

Yelp
For a shopping mall, this is pretty legit. High-end, designer stores and some unique ones as well. There's a smoking room too. But for those visiting Tokyo on a vacation or a sight-seeing tour, Tokyo Midtown can be skipped.

Yelp
Tokyo Midtown is one of the big complex in the Roppongi area, there you will find a mix of high end and affordable shops and cafes. What I love the most with Midtown is the fact that its never too crowded, which means more freedom to shop. For someone who loves coffee shops as much as I do, definitely this place is very convenient :) I mean Starbucks, Dean and Deluca, Tully's, Antico and so much more is just right there ... :)

Yelp
Tokyo Midtown is good, and it's getting better and better. It's cultural, innovative, and more than a shopping mall, There are many nice art pieces and art design inside Tokyo Midtown. They used to have the Ubiquitous Art Tour guide service. The ubiquitous communicator is free rental, guide visitors to respective art pieces and provide information. It's a pity that this service is terminated, but you still can check Tokyo Midtown website 'art work' page to mark down the art work you are interested, then make your personal art tour in Tokyo Midtown! Not to mention the Suntory Museum of Art, 21_21 Design sight, Tokyo Midtown Design Hub, and Fujifilm Square, that are in midtown area. Check out their activity before you go. And Tokyo Midtown is also famous for the kids friendly events and activity, and my kids love the winter outdoor ice skating rink most. You can rent skates here at a reasonable price, and even reserve the whole rink in the morning session for your own party! Shops and restaurants inside Tokyo Midtown is updated frequently so always hot and nice. Sign up free-annual-fee Tokyo midtown membership and get one or two hours fee parking.

Yelp
Why arent American malls more like this? High end retail, restaurants, cafes, art museums, groceries and a bar where i can sip Suntory Whiskey? Hell yeah! I could stay here for weeks. That trippy fountain up front is good for several hours of stare and space out. Maybe one of the sleekest multi level designed malls ive ever seen. 4.5 stars

Yelp
2 decades later this place still looks amazingly futuristic. Much fun to walk around the court yard and park to appreciate the architecture. The retailing building hosts boutique brands you can find in most major cities and nothing ordinary people can afford. But I do recommend Muji, the Japanese brand with inexpensive clothes and accessories in simple yet elegant taste.

Yelp
Tokyo Midtown boasts good eats on its lower level for affordable varieties of food such as sushi, Korean, Vietnamese, etc., and has lots of yummy dessert places! Another reason why I love Tokyo Midtown is that it boasts a UNIQLO & Muji, two of my favorite Japanese stores (besides Don Quijote). Tokyo Midtown also features different art installations so when you're tired walking around you could grab a coffee and sit down and just enjoy the art. Also its close proximity to Hinokicho Park and Roppongi Station is also very nice and convenient.

Yelp
I have gotten spoiled with the AC blasting away at department stores in Tokyo. The temperature was not good inside Midtown on this crowded and humid day.
