Great park to see shorebirds and waterfowl! Sure it is close to some industrial areas and the airport but that doesn't take away from the experience. The Nature Centre is really nice with good blinds. The trails in the park also have a good selection of blinds to sit quietly and watch the multitude of birds.

It’s located close to haneda airport. There’s bus line between station and park but only two buses per an hour. But if you have to wait why not walking? It took about less than 20 minutes. There’s entrance fee about 300 yen.
There are 4 huts that you could sit and observe. Also some open areas. A natural center. I met quite a few of birds herons cormorants mallards and lots of tsubame flying about.
I have been visiting bird watching or bird sanctuary around the Tokyo area. By far this is the most satisfying place. Of all the rest maybe depending on the timing of visit I didn’t get to meet variety of birds.

Visited late morning/afternoon. Several excellent observation huts and blinds that make birdwatching and photography easy and comfortable. The huts felt significantly cooler inside which was a very nice reprieve from the heat.
There is ambient industrial/city noise but I did not feel that it affected the experience. Ample opportunity for birding in silence.
There are vending machines with drinks and snacks and the facilities were well maintained.

A bit of a walk from the station, but worth it if you love birds and nature! They have binocular rentals for those who don't have one, and multiple viewing huts along the park. I also spotted two cats walking about. If you also like planes, there's an endless wave of planes flying overhead, as Haneda Airport is close by.

The place is nice and you can take a fresh breath out of busy Tokyo city.. But unfortunately I didn't see many birds.. I t is true that there are lots of birds but they are a bit far from the visitors accessible area.. So you need a pro cam to take photos or binoculars to see them properly.. The time I was visiting, one viewing spot was closed due to some repair. Haneda airport is near, so u can always see airplanes in the sky taking circles.. Lovely place.

This is a lovely green oasis with bird blinds and a large nature centre, within a short walking distance of the Tokyo monorail. We went there from Haneda airport while waiting for a flight. It's free, well-tended, quiet, and if you have a telephoto lens, a great place for taking pictures.

Beautiful and smaller park in a more industrial area, south of central Tokyo. Can easily spend a couple great hours looking for birds and enjoying the nature the park has to offer. Staff was friendly and we got a magnet each as a souvenir for free.

Amazing experience! We've seen so many beautiful birds. Herons, Ospreys, woodpeckers, you name it. Gentlemen working at the office were super kind too! Gave us a little present-badge with birds on 🎁 highly recommend for all bird lovers!

Luckily I had a few hours between my flight from Tokyo to Hokkaido to visit this little gem of a park. I only had a few hours but you could spend a whole day there. Good hiking and a wide variety of habitats to get a wide variety of bird species. It is good for the advanced birder as well as the novice. There are scopes and binoculars even if you don't have any, but who doesn't carry a scope with them .
It is easy monorail ride from the airport and a short walk over a bridge. The park has woodland, freshwater and saltwater habitats to explore and you can easily rack up a bunch of bird species quickly in the bird blinds. Knowledgeable staff and volunteers. Very impressed... wish I had more time. Supposedly mud puppy viewing at low tide under visitor center but sadly was running late and had to catch cab back to airport.
Do not miss the opportunity.
