I absolutely love this place!! We went here for dinner almost every night that we were in Ginza. The staff are so friendly and the same man kindly helped us order each night, making sure that we were able to tolerate the level of spiciness! The ramen is flavourful and the noodles are perfectly chewy! Accompanied by soft boiled eggs and pork this is the perfect bowl to warm you up in the winter time and satisfy your ramen craving!

Google
Really good, and exactly what one thinks of when they hear “spicy miso ramen”. Not sure why this place doesn’t have better reviews. Nice depth of flavor, good noodle texture, nice bits of ground pork in the broth. Honestly the only “complaint” would be that the sliced roast pork was a little less rich than other places, but it was still good and not much else to complain about. Tourists be aware that the menu is all Japanese, but they were helpful about translating it. Would absolutely be back next time we’re in Tokyo. Also, be aware that when they say spicy they mean SPICY. I eat pretty hot for American standards - we got the 1/5 and 2/5 heat levels and can confidently say 2/5 is enough to have your nose dripping like a faucet (1/5 is what’s pictured). 3/5 is apparently “blow your face off” hot.

Google
Really great ramen and very friendly service. Small place with a nice atmosphere. I don’t speak Japanese, and as soon as they saw me trying to translate the ticket machine, they came to help. Also, the machine wasn’t accepting one of my 500 yen coins and they quickly came back over to switch it with one that worked. Got the spicy miso ramen with level 1 spice, and it was plenty spicy for me! I really enjoyed it and I recommend the beer to go with it.

I ordered the level 3 spicy pork ramen and was pleasantly surprised to discover that the ramen was indeed very spicy but still contained complex flavours. Service was excellent and very accommodating of my poor Japanese comprehension. Would recommend!

Google
Thoroughly enjoyed this Ramen place. Located near the Kobayashi Station along the Ginza line this place is easily accessible. Approximately a 10-15 minute walk from Tokyo Station. There are around 10 counter seats available. The ramen dishes are around the JPY1200-1300 range. Water is provided on complimentary basis. The noodles were perfectly cooked in my opinion and the broth was flavorful and hearty. Definitely worth a try.

Google
Was told it’s pretty popular place to have ramen. Though it’s opening is 11am I could walk in as the first at 1040am. The noodle is relatively thick and I ordered the spicy miso noodle. Was little to spicy stomach all

Google
Very delicious! Absolutely the best ramen in Ginza area here! Best around for sure! Loved the thick, chewy noodles in my spicy miso!

Google
I had the curry ramen, which was so delicious. The broth was super flavourful and tasty. The egg and pork were cooked perfectly. I enjoyed the noodles and the addition of ground meat. The servings are huge. A man who worked there was so friendly and helpful, he welcomed us immediately and helped to explain and translate the menu in English on the food ordering machine as it was all in Japanese. Wonderful service by both staff. A cosy atmosphere to enjoy a delectable bowl of ramen.

Yelp
Domiso has decent miso ramen if you are in the area. Noodles are cooked perfectly. The broth is very greasy (1 star off), as I see many bits of pork fat swimming around. This is too greasy for me, but maybe not for others. The soft-boiled egg has a deep simmered flavor. The bean sprouts and corn on top add a nice crunch. The non-spicy one has a little spice, and the spicy one has a lot of spice! FYI I added the latest store front photo and machine menu to this Yelp review. Enjoy!

Yelp
Hidden gem of Ginza, no doubt. The miso was the perfect combination of spicy and sweet. The service was top-notch. The owner's taste in music was really good too. For only 1000 yen (8 USD), Do Miso provided me with a wondrous experience me and my taste buds will never forget.

Yelp
Do Mi So Do you want to try some authentic Japanese ramen? Better yet, one of the best in Tokyo? Better yet, one that is near the center of the city? Head to Do Miso. How to identify a high quality ramen shop: 1. NO table seats. Although I personally prefer table seating, the best ramen shops offer counter seating ONLY. It keeps operation smooth, because they don't need to hire a person to service the tables. 2. NOT located on a major street. There are some exceptions (like Muteki Ramen in Ikebukuro, which is facing Meji Dori). However, in general, the best ramen shops are off on the side street where rent is cheaper. 3. A line out the door on a Saturday or Sunday. If a ramen shop in Tokyo does NOT have a long line during the weekends, it is not one of the top quality shops. 4. Offers very few selections. Although there are some exceptions, if a shop offers ramen choices of shoyu, miso, and shio, that is too many options. Best ones stick to one type of soup with only slight variation. 5. Lacks English menu. I hate to say this, but most of the best ramen chefs in Japan does not speak English. The top ramen shops are not hurting for business, so they do not need to hire a translator to create a special English menu. A few also prefer that foreigners do not visit their shop, not because they hate Gaijin, but because they are afraid of being asked questions in English. "Can I pay in U.S. dollars?" or "Do you accept American Express?" or "Were you a cast in the movie Tampopo?" Back to Do Miso Ramen. They fit all the characteristics I just mentioned. 1. It's a tiny shop with counter seats only. 2. Located 20 meters off Ginza's main street (Chuo-Dori). 3. Always a line out the door, even during the weekdays. 4. Although it may appear like they have lots of options, they actually only have one type of ramen, which is Miso flavor (as the store name suggests). The choices are "spicy", "curry", "tsukemen style" (Dipping style), or less toppings. 5. Perhaps they have one, but I did not notice. Their automated ticket machine was all in Japanese. Enjoyment procedure: While you are in the line, go ahead and buy a ticket for your ramen choice. Go for "Toku-Miso Koteri Ramen 930 Yen" (Button is top left). While in the line, attendant will ask for your ticket. Sit and eat. Don't spend more than 15 minutes to finish your bowl. After seated, you can still order more items. No need to head to the machine. Just pay via cash to the attendant. When done, place the finished bowl on top of the counter. Why is it so good? The soup is a blend of miso and pork back fat called "lard". Lard is known to be one of the most unhealthy food item. Who said tasty ramen is heathy? In fact, when you consume the fat and heavy dosage of sodium in a ramen, your heart is actually giving you a middle finger. As for the noodle, Do Mi So uses thick noodles, which is my favorite. All in all, a perfectly balanced ramen.

Yelp
Decent Miso ramen offering at this small counter-service-only establishment between Kyobashi and Ginza. Very rich ramen broth with a number of flavors going on that come together really well. Noodles are perfectly cooked, and vegetable toppings were all allowed to come to a proper temperature (not fresh from the cooler where it's too cold and too crisp, and not limp like it's been sitting on the counter all day). The chef really nailed the temperature on the egg--spot on where it should be.

Yelp
Wow! Another miso ramen that blew my mind... I got the top-left choice on the vending machine, since I was taught that is always the most popular and safest bet... I think it was their kotteri (fatty/rich) white miso ramen. It was amazing...one of my favorite bowls. It was a little thick with emulsified fat 'flavor cubes' throughout, but I still gluttonously finished every last drop of the broth. The corn adds the perfect subtle sweetness with a bit of crunch, and the noodles are just right. I also managed to find the draft beer button (always has the symbol that looks like a dude sitting down with his hands out, holding a beer, and a hyphen after it... 生ビール)... I can't read much Japanese, but at least I finally got the most important word down! Anyway... It doesn't get much better than delicious ramen with a smooth beer. It is places like these that make me want to move to Japan. I will definitely be back to this shop!
