"Tokyu Hands is a quintessential Japanese lifestyle shop designed to make your life more refined, or at least more fun. There are now branches throughout the country, as well as international ones in Taiwan and Singapore , but the Shibuya branch is the largest, with more than 20 floors of merchandise if you include the mezzanine levels. It is a treasure chest of items, practical and not, for home, travel, and garden. The select collection of luggage and bags, many made by Japanese craftsmen, is especially worth perusing. Each floor is themed, organized around subjects such as the kitchen, travel, health and beauty, DIY, and stationery. It’s easy to get lost, as there is so much to see, whether shopping for yourself or for gifts for friends."

Floors and floors to enjoy! From stationary to craft supplies to kitchenware (and so much more). Definitely worth a visit. You’ll find things you didn’t know you needed

They sell almost everything here, from DIY stuff to household items to stationery to toys. There are a total of 7 levels and tax free counter is at level 5. Service is prompt and friendly and the store is kept very neat, clean and tidy.

They sold me a defective luggage scale but I have no time to return so they can correct their mistake. It’s so useless that it says a nearly empty backpack is 27 kg. A small camera is 12 kg. The lack of quality control is wild - I actually think someone returned this and they resold it. Their staff is also a mixed bag. My cashier was great and tried to manage the other employees but it took them about 30 minutes to retrieve the luggage I bought. I watched as people who purchased their luggage after me got it immediately while I waited. The only reason this isn’t one star is because the cashier was doing his best to help me while also checking people out. Overall, though, the poor service and poor products are what stood out.

If you are a tourist, I would heavily recommend checking out the store! One of the craziest most practical stores I’ve ever been in. Everything from Godzilla toys to the most practical backpack, to the greatest pencils and pens.

An absolute gem of a store with 7 floors catering to a huge range of customers and an ultimate one stop shop for souvenirs at great bargains and had good service where foreigners were not frowned upon. They also had signs clearly posted to ensure that we knew when the tax refund counter was closing and everything was very smooth. Definitely visiting again.

Absolutely loved this multi-store for picking up souvenirs from Japan. I got a few Hanko stamps made with the names in Kanji and the lady at the Design center was super helpful. It got done in an hour. You will need a passport to claim the tax credit.

Great store, many nice things to buy. But the tax return counter here is not well respected. Too long wait, too few people at the counter. If you don't want to fo tax return - don't advertise it...
