I recently stayed at Tokyu Stay Aoyama and overall had a pleasant experience. The hotel’s biggest advantage is its excellent location — right next to the metro, with easy access to Shibuya, Omotesando, and Roppongi. The neighborhood itself is very pleasant, with great cafés, restaurants, and boutiques within walking distance. It’s a quiet yet convenient area that gives you a real sense of Tokyo life without the usual crowds. The rooms, however, are quite small, even by Tokyo standards. They are clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully designed, but space is definitely limited — best suited for solo travelers or short stays. There are also no real hotel facilities such as a gym, lounge, or restaurant, so it’s more of a functional place to sleep rather than a full-service hotel experience.Service was polite and efficient, and the in-room amenities were practical, including a washer/dryer combo, which is convenient for longer stays. Wi-Fi was stable and check-in/check-out was smooth.Overall, Tokyu Stay Aoyama is a great option if you prioritize location, cleanliness, and convenience over size and luxury. Perfect for business trips or independent travelers who plan to spend most of their time exploring the city.
