Toldi Inn

My husband and I were traveling to Hungary from USA for the first time. This hotel was lovely! We liked the suite with the separate sitting room. Great breakfast. The restaurant lunch and dinner was delicious too. He is a retired chef so we have high expectations and we’re not disappointed. Pricing very reasonable. Also liked the walkability of the town. We will be back!

Hotel quite old, sticky carpets, no kettle in the room also. sauna and swimming pool is a plus but reception told us it's open till 10pm. We cane at 8:45pm and there was a cleaning man already closing everything. Nice and comfortable beds. However expensive breakfast and they also charge 1000ft for city tax that noone advised us at check in. When I said they should tell customers at check in, lady at reception said she doesn't understand me. Overall I there are better places for this price or less.

Very good value for money. The hotel is very clean, some parts are recently renovated. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The restaurant is slightly below the hotel’s level. The portion sizes are okay but the side dish vs. meat/cheese ratio is off sometimes. The salad parts were a bit already on the B side. The waiter was nice but as soon as there were more than two tables got a bit flustered and forgot to bring a drink order. With a little attention the restaurant could be also very good.

As a wine lover, a visit to Tokaj is a must. Me and a friend arrived late afternoon to Tokaj and checked into Toldi Fogado, a middle size Inn, very central located in Tokaj.|We were friendly greeted and got a spacious room with very comfortable beds, TV, free wifi and a good bathroom.|The hotel has a small pool and a wellness department.|We had a nice and good dinner outside with a delicious white wine from the area.|Both of us went for catfish, I ordered grilled and my friend deepfried. As side dishes we had a tomato salad and the spicy Hungarian Bell peppers. Everything was great except all mosquitos, they were impossible and left us with several bites.|Breakfast was served between 07.00 and 10.00 am in the restaurant. Cold cut, lot's of different bread, scrambled eggs and sausages.|An all over pleasant stay.

We just have had a short stay in the hotel in the largest apartmenteith a large balcony. It has a perfect location right in the city center. Free parking. Wellness services are excellent. The quality of the apartment was acceptable. The restaurant offers plenty of really tasty Hungarian dishes. I do recommend it for a shorter or a longer stay as well

Excellent food, friendly service. Great choice for vegetarians. Very good selection of wine. Pleasant atmosphere with exciting paintings . We could get a table without reservation in the rush hour. Good location , easy to find on the walking street.

If you're looking for some place to stay that's comfortable, has a restaurant and spa and offers affordable prices - then look no further than Toldi Fogado! ||||The owner couldn't be nicer, the staff very polite and accommodating, and of course the generous amenities that you'll find here are not to be beat. What is most noteworthy about the rooms, are not just the comfort and cleanliness, but the fact that they have carpeting which is a really nice change for any westerner abroad in Europe, as carpeting is rather scarce here. ||||I would highly recommend this place to people who are on a budget, and who are looking for a place to relax while in the famous wine region of Tokaj! Conveniently located in the heart of the city center, there are more than plenty of great wine cellars nearby, and if you don't even want to leave the hotel to partake in some adult beverages, the restaurant has a long list of Tokaj wines to choose from!||||Don't miss out on spending some time at the spa, as it's not only relaxing but beautifully designed as well. Fully equipped with a large swimming pool, jacuzzi and gorgeous sauna, it's ideal for any type of traveler, looking to rest after a long day!

We spent three nights in this hotel. We had one of their best rooms with balcony and view to the Tisza. ||The room wasn’t particularly clean. One of the air conditioner wasn’t working at all. When we reported that, nothing happened. ||Precisely next to the balcony, there is a street lamp on the wall. So all of the bugs and spiders was swarming the hole night in the balcony. I counted more than 20 spiders on the first night. ||The staff wasn’t nice. The breakfast was ok, but they didn’t have normal coffee (just Nescafe). ||The hotel’s restaurant is expensive and bad. They open after 11 and before that you are not able to drink a normal coffee in the hotel. ||The swimming pool is nice, but for little children is too deep.
