Tolido's Espresso Nook

Service was good. Staff were very hospital and friendly. Environment was pleasant but could get noisy at times. The food was also made to a high standard. Only comment perhaps was the truffle scrambled eggs with mozzarella would have been better if it was cooked a little less and kept runnier. Orange mocha was fragrant but the peppermint mocha ice-blended was out of this world. Will be back to try other items on the menu.

Delicious food and great service! The rosti was crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. The smoky bratwurst was juicy and the smoked salmon was nice and tender. The avocado was fresh too. The french toast was delicious - the crispy bacon was really good and complemented the french toast well. The pancakes were nice and fluffy and went well with the ice cream too! The flat white and iced americano were great too. Nice and strong cups of coffee 👍

Amazing brunch! The laksa pasta and the salted egg chicken rosti were really worth tasting. A local twist to some common cafe food. Coffees were good and it was great with the Pandan pancake. Good service!

Surprise find at the foot of a HDB block. The service was prompt and the waitress was constantly checking into to see if we needed any water. Ordered the Ice Blended Sea Salt Caramel Mocha and Espresso Affogato. Oh the Espresso was really a perk me up on a sleep Sunday afternoon and goes extremely well with the ice cream on top of it. Similarly the Ice Blended Sea Salt Caramel Mocha was a good option to beat the heat! Their food option looks good but didn’t have the opportunity to try it. And it helps that they accept CDC vouchers!

Coffee here is excellent and the food is served hot! We loved the eggs and sausage. Toast was crisp, soft and not hard to chew. Stayed here for a 5-hr brunch, loved the ambience and decided to get dessert.

Pandan pancakes are pretty special. They taste like ondeh ondeh served on a plate. Ordered one iced blended coffee and another iced coffee. Would prefer the hot coffees instead as the taste is creamier.

Tolido's used to be our go to spot afrer the circuit breaker. But after we went back, it doesn't hit the spot as well as it did before. The food is still pretty decent, but not as good as it used to be. Prices have increased and the portion size has decreased, hence its not as worth it as it used to be anymore. We ordered the truffle scrambled eggs, the ultimate combo and a sea salt caramel latte. The truffle scrambled eggs tasted pretty good, thought you might want to ask for some salt to add to it. The bread that comes with it was too dry in my opinion and you have to accompany it with the eggs. The ultimate combo has nice fluffy pancakes and the scrambled eggs that come with it was quite good. The sea salt latte was good as well, you can really taste the salt in it. Overall still a good place to come, just not worth the wait anymore if the queue is too long.

Came by without reservation. Ifa was such a delight by making arrangements to accommodate my indoor seating. Going the extra mile wherever possible. Even my habit of lathering and smothering my food with sour cream and butter was obliged with a smile. It’s been a long while since I’ve met a service staff that impressed. Thanks Ifa!
