Tollgate Motel

As name implies, motel is older style place located on edge of town. Yes, it's old and needs a major refresh but we had 2 quite nights. Manager doing his best to keep the place going. Our unit had very small wash basin.

Great place to stop over. Was my second time and service was great as usual. Rooms were not overly large but big enough. There was free WiFi and on-site parking. The bathroom is a bit small, especially if you are a larger person. The rooms have been renovated and they are clean. Would return again.

What an absolute shocker! |I’ve never been treated so appallingly and made feel that the abominable state of this whole establishment was somehow my fault. |The management have no hospitality skills whatsoever and couldn’t run a bath. They are rude because they don’t have a clue. I wouldn’t let them run a dog kennel.|The housekeeping staff are terrible, they resent being asked to do anything and have again got no idea what their role is and definitely no concept of cleanliness. |Don’t stay here it’s a traumatic experience.

The shower was like a rain shower, so I could wee quickly. The shower was not properly cleaned; soap was left in the soap dish. Single bed was hard and springy

Room is very large and manager was very kind and let me check-out late. I check-in after hours and he was telling me to take my time and he helped me to carry my luggage and store my luggage after I check-out. Room has microwave and plates and folks and knives. I enjoy my stay a lot EXCELLENT service.

When we went on their Web sites it said $120 double room. Asked for ground floor, as medical need one. Was charged $130 per night.... stayed 2 and sadly won't stay again. 1) We don't smoke yet cigarette burn in quilt. Photo 2) Electricity plugs issues. And I need a sleep machine all night. Cut in and out. Photos 3) Holes in walls and big cracks. Photos 4) We asked for clean towels and got them.... Gray/white. 5) Asked for an extra garbage bag to rid medical waste. 6) Left room around 9 am for appointments.... new towels put in and small bin was emptied. Our bed was not made 7) You don't even get a face cloth. Photo of sign about saving planet 8) Extra blankets and pillow was just shoved in cupboards. Not even folded.

This hotel advertising is false...This needs to be updated. The rooms are nothing like the photos. The management/Owners have changed and it's become run down and neglected. The rooms are dirty, moldy and smell of smoke. The beds and pillows are stained and disgusting. |The managers are rude and obnoxious.|This place is a bio Hazard. It should be condemned.
