Lovely wee spot to stop and have a pint in a sunny beer garden. They didn't have the pizza last time I was here so I was excited to try it. I love a thin base so it was right up my alley. Highly recommend the Dali.

visited this pizzeria with a small group of four, including the daughter of two of my friends. She has multiple severe food allergies, so we brought her allergy-safe food from home to ensure her safety. We still fully supported the business by ordering four pizzas and drinks. Shortly after we sat down, the owner stormed over to our table and, in a very aggressive and confrontational manner, told us that we were not allowed to bring outside food. Despite us calmly explaining that the food was required for medical (allergy) reasons, he continued to act in a hostile and intimidating way. He even threatened to remove the child for eating her own safe food, which was completely unacceptable. My friend politely asked if they could speak privately to avoid making a scene for other customers, but the owner loudly refused and continued the confrontation in front of the entire restaurant. This caused significant embarrassment and discomfort, not only for us but also for the other diners. I want to note that the waiting staff handled the situation as well as they could. They were kind, caring, and very apologetic, and I truly feel sorry that they have to work in such a difficult environment. Overall, this experience was deeply upsetting and entirely unprofessional. I will not be returning, and I will be taking my business elsewhere where basic manners, understanding, and customer care are shown.

Best pizza in cork by far, great beer garden and great deals and prices. I come from the south of Italy and my dad owns a pizzeria. This pizza feels very similar to the ones my dad make. Very hard to find a pizza this good in rome, very happy we have it here in cork. The beer garden is beautiful and the service is simple, but efective and nice.

Tom Barry's is a brilliant traditional type pub on the South side of Cork with the perfect mix of both indoor and outdoor spaces. The staff are super friendly and they encourage a great atmosphere with trad music and chats, its always a great night here! They serve a beautiful pint of the Guinness as well as other popular local and not so local beers to carter to everyone! 27-July-2025 Update: My wife and I called in as we were nearby and said its been a minute since we were here. The bar hasn't changed much if at all and the staff as as friendly as ever! I got one of the local Cork beers Original 7 Larger and my wife got a Murphy's stout and we took in the fine weather out the back in the beer garden. Food: The pizzas here are delicious! I highly recommend stopping by for a pizza and mach use of the pizza and a pint deal! We got a spicey salami pizza and a garlic and tomato sauce pizza while we were here. Both were amazing and we were surprised by the garlic pizza as we didn't realise it didn't have cheese but it was perfectly delicious! Old Review: There is loads of space to choose from be it the small bar at the front, the back room by the fire, the side bar by the beer garden and last but not least, the fantastic beer garden out the back! Any area you choose will be great! It can be very busy at weekends but come here early or mid week if you are looking for something a little quieter! Over the years I've spent many a Friday or Saturday evening catching up with friends and its always been a great location! The beer garden is my favourite spot in this bar and they have their own pizza kitchen in the back garden as well. Definitely check out Tom Barry's, you won't be disappointed!

The owner was rude and unfriendly, and treated us arrogantly for no reason. The pizza is good, but after this experience I will never drink a beer there again. I strongly do not recommend this place — Cork has plenty of better pubs.

Attended this venue with a large group of friends. The venue was warm and welcoming. Had a large selection of seat available for all to sit comfortably. There is a pizza oven outside where you can order a pizza to accompany your drinks. However, if you are seated outside be aware of the possibility of soot falling as it may ruin your clothing. All in all great venue with a great atmosphere!!

Google
The pizza is very good but the cleanliness in the pub is terrible, the prices of beers and drinks are high and the owner of the pub is really unpleasant... I saw him speaking very aggressively to a family, the daughter ate some rice brought from home because she couldn't eat pizza and the owner made her stop eating, but at the table the whole family had pizza and beers, it was very unpleasant, I will not return!

Yelp
Used to be the go to pub in Cork when I visited. Always exceptional service. Tonight's visit was met with rude and smug staff each round. Next visit will try Fordes

Yelp
Tom Barry's suddenly became popular a few years ago - the smoking ban came in, and everyone flocked to the beer garden here. Great if you're a smoker, but also lovely if you're not. The beer garden is especially nice on a summer's day with a cool beer or cider. Inside, it looks like a traditional bar but with some modern twists. Great for an evening with friends - where you're bound to meet other people - or early evening chats. Staff are friendly and chatty with an above-average selection of beers.

Yelp
Great setting to relax and be with friends. Small inside pub for the cool days and wonderful outdoor court yard for the nice days. The pizza was perfect in my view with a crust that is excellent all by itself. Thank you to the warm friendly staff.

Yelp
One of my favourite Cork bars, although quite a walk from the city centre. This place has a gorgeous beer garden with loads of fairy lights and a brilliant atmosphere. It also offers good pub-food, well worth visiting.

Yelp
Love this place! Looks tiny from the outside but has huge outside area which has loads of character. Really cosy and perfect from a few pints with friends

Yelp
This pub is so deceiving from the outside but inside is another story. It reminds me of a pub that I used to go to in West Cork. Real arty crowd there at the weekends, a really nice mixture of clientele and a great smoking area! Worth a visit - you will not be disappointed!
