Had the Frida pizza and was very underwhelmed to be honest. Was falling all apart and toppings not dough weren't good enough. When I sat in the beer garden the chimney from the wood fire oven was blowing out black pieces that kept falling on our clothes and table and all the stuff, came home with one dirty white shirt just from sitting out

We made a reservation for a group and arrived excited after hearing good things about this place. The food is delicious, and the bar staff is lovely—great customer service from them. However, the staff handling the pizzas were extremely rude, particularly a woman at the till. (I am not the first to review about this) I had everything organized on my phone, including the number and type of pizzas. When I told her we were ordering 10 dishes, she whispered something to the chefs while making strange faces. I asked if everything was okay, but she continued giving odd looks, which made the interaction uncomfortable. After confirming the order, she demanded to see the notes on my phone, saying, “I don’t want to come to your table and have people say something is missing or the order you did is wrong.” The tone and delivery were incredibly rude. I tried to stay polite and organized to make the process easier while I didn’t understand what was happening. It’s unclear why she was so unprofessional—was it the size of the group? Do you prefer us to make single orders (then let us know) Regardless, there’s no table service, and we handled everything at the till, including paying together to simplify things. If the staff can’t manage large groups or provide respectful service, they shouldn’t accept reservations. The food deserves praise, as does the bar staff, who were friendly and professional. But after this disappointing experience, my group and I will not be returning.

If you’re in Cork, you must not miss Tom Barry’s for it’s one of the amazing pizza places in town! Situated just a few steps away from the centre, it’s one of the oldest pubs and beer gardens that serves super authentic Italian pizzas. The outdoor seating area is ideal for summers. The food is super delicious and their perfect thin crust pizzas have an amazing texture. Our personal favourite pizza is FRIDA with its mixture of ham, cherry tomatoes, mozzarella and rockets. . PS: Do check their meal deals and offers to save some bucks.

Fab little spot that one of the local tour guides mentioned to me. Fab pizza, nice vibe, and staff very helpful. Would definitely come back next time I’m in Cork.

Pizza was great, beer was great I'd suggest not going on crowded hours, 1 pizza was enough for two people in my opinion

Google
Amazing Italian pizza by an Italian pizza boy! Tasty. His pizza can hardly be compared to other (non Italian) places in Cork for its savorous flavors and garnish. Along with birra moretti my pizza Caravaggio is worth a short detour away from city center. Warmly recommend !

Yelp
Used to be the go to pub in Cork when I visited. Always exceptional service. Tonight's visit was met with rude and smug staff each round. Next visit will try Fordes

Yelp
Tom Barry's suddenly became popular a few years ago - the smoking ban came in, and everyone flocked to the beer garden here. Great if you're a smoker, but also lovely if you're not. The beer garden is especially nice on a summer's day with a cool beer or cider. Inside, it looks like a traditional bar but with some modern twists. Great for an evening with friends - where you're bound to meet other people - or early evening chats. Staff are friendly and chatty with an above-average selection of beers.

Yelp
Great setting to relax and be with friends. Small inside pub for the cool days and wonderful outdoor court yard for the nice days. The pizza was perfect in my view with a crust that is excellent all by itself. Thank you to the warm friendly staff.

Yelp
One of my favourite Cork bars, although quite a walk from the city centre. This place has a gorgeous beer garden with loads of fairy lights and a brilliant atmosphere. It also offers good pub-food, well worth visiting.

Yelp
Love this place! Looks tiny from the outside but has huge outside area which has loads of character. Really cosy and perfect from a few pints with friends

Yelp
This pub is so deceiving from the outside but inside is another story. It reminds me of a pub that I used to go to in West Cork. Real arty crowd there at the weekends, a really nice mixture of clientele and a great smoking area! Worth a visit - you will not be disappointed!
