visited this pizzeria with a small group of four, including the daughter of two of my friends. She has multiple severe food allergies, so we brought her allergy-safe food from home to ensure her safety. We still fully supported the business by ordering four pizzas and drinks.
Shortly after we sat down, the owner stormed over to our table and, in a very aggressive and confrontational manner, told us that we were not allowed to bring outside food. Despite us calmly explaining that the food was required for medical (allergy) reasons, he continued to act in a hostile and intimidating way. He even threatened to remove the child for eating her own safe food, which was completely unacceptable.
My friend politely asked if they could speak privately to avoid making a scene for other customers, but the owner loudly refused and continued the confrontation in front of the entire restaurant. This caused significant embarrassment and discomfort, not only for us but also for the other diners.
I want to note that the waiting staff handled the situation as well as they could. They were kind, caring, and very apologetic, and I truly feel sorry that they have to work in such a difficult environment.
Overall, this experience was deeply upsetting and entirely unprofessional. I will not be returning, and I will be taking my business elsewhere where basic manners, understanding, and customer care are shown.
