It's been my go-to brunch place for years now. I go for special occasions, or take my guests here. I always take the delicious Tomasa brunch. The surroundings are also lovely and make for a nice walk.

Food quality in par with airport food as someone else said. Im sorry but i dont understand the reviews. My €30 steak as shown in the image says it all.

Fancy breakfasts for really decent prices. The places is very charming, historical building with many types of seating, two floors inside the building and many outside seating in many different corners and terraces. We were 4, had 4 meals and drinks (see photos), bill was 62 EUR (not including tip).

Big German restaurant with traditional food. The food is not the best but it’s convenient for big groups

Nice relaxing restaurant with outdoors, patio and balcony sitting. Atmosphere and service are great and the view is quite nice having the restaurant situated in the park. Nice beer and wine selection as well as diverse menu ranging from stakes, burgers, pastas and salads. They also have a wide selection of vegaterian and vegan food. Dishes are quite generous but expect to pay a higher than 'typical' prices. It is acceptable in my opinion based on the location and type of restaurant.

This place is now my new favorite place in Berlin. Food, service, vibe - ALL Perfect !!! Americans are very welcomed. They also have a large front porch where you can have full service while enjoying smoking with heater/blanket. Alex was a great attendant of my tables three late nights in a row. It’s situated right next to a beautiful park where you can enjoy a walk after your meal.

Service is slow and indifferent. The food under salted and looked really poor. For 23€ Euro dish cost you can at leas change broken screen on your device.

I ordered a New York strip steak. It was awful. It was supposed to be medium-rare, what I got instead was an undercooked piece of meat that was not even black and blue as the sear on top was not done correctly. The meat was almost impossoble to chew. When we told the waitress, that it was undercooked, she took it back to the kitchen and then brought the same piece back 5 min later, slightly more cooked.l It was still tough and unchewable. The waitress said that there is nothing more they could do. They did not even take that horrible thing off the bill or offer something to replace it with. The restaurant was half empty so it's not like they couldn't pay attention. Service was very slow.

Beautiful venue for a relaxed Sunday brunch! A park nearby calls for a walk afterwards. They don't have a buffet, which has recently been a big advantage in my eyes :) I won't call the range of breakfasts offered amazing, but it's enough. Good quality. Service is what they call typical Berlin here: a bit arrogant but fun.

Went here for a work dinner. The venue is lovely, situated in an old house. The lay out is across both storeys of the building and still consists of plenty of private rooms. This makes it great for functions as well as making the venue feel small and cosy despite how huge it is. The food is OK. Nothing to rave about. Maybe I chose badly, or maybe I'm just not a big fan of this cuisine. But the beer is cold and the open fires are toasty. PS. There is an English menu available for tourists :p

What a disappointment! The place looks lovely but... I have never experienced in Germany such an arrogant service as here... and the food.. well, average would almost be a compliment. I went there spontaneously as the terrace looked really inviting. I got the menu.. and had been forgotten for 15 min. As I saw that other folks are also impatiently watching around for some waiter, I went inside and saw 3 waiters and a cook discussing sth. Then the cook went away and the waiters kept leaning against of the bar. Some time after they had seen me, one of them came and told me that: 1) he has also other guest to serve so I should be patient 2) he had sth more important to do than to take my order 3) I am not familiar with the gastronomy business 4) I can leave if I wish Hard, isn't it? I can forgive almost everything, but not such arrogance! Then they sent another waiter, who was sooooooo nice you could hardly bear it, but it still didn't change the fact that the plate of tapas was not really tasty and garnished with an UNFRESH, gone off melon. I hope the owner of this place is reading this and can introduce some changes, as it is a great big pity, that such a nice venue has such bad service and bad cuisine. I'll wait a while until I give it a second try.

Food was fine but terrible terrible service! Made the mistake of sitting outside only to be attacked by wasps and the staff were so unhelpful! Were told three times that there was no room inside and by the time someone actually bothered to look for us and said there was, our food had gone cold! secondly they made no effort to help us more all our food and drinks and when we moved them the first time by ourselves, they took away our drinks and started trying to clear the table- so inattentive! don't even try it, overpriced for the portion size and such awful staff!

We went in the morning for breakfast.I would recommend the two bagel one. We sat in the open garden. As there we six of us we approached the waiter she seemed unconcerned and just pointed to tables and to help ourselves.The food was very good along with the rest of the service. We were not refused our request for tap water.A very colourful place with nice decor.
