Tomb of Hazrat Shah Rukn-e-Alam

One of my favorite places in Multan is Darbar. I definitely go here every week and enjoy my time. It is very enjoyable for me and I also take my friends here which gives us a very good feeling and we try to spend as much time here as possible and make our time valuable.

Art and culture wise, this place is beautiful but people inside the shrine will make trap you to give nazrana of like 5000 to 10,000 so beware of that

He was the grand son and successor of Shaikh Baha_u_din zakariya . He was buried in the mausoleum of his grandfather, according to his own will but later his coffin was transfered to the present mausoleum Shah Rukn_e_Alam conffored his spiritual succession on sufi Shaikh Sultan UI Tareeqin shaikh Hameed u din shah Hakim Alqureshi Asadi Al hashimi Suharwardi. He is buried at mau mubarak Rahim yar khan. Multan is the city of saints where there are alot of tombs. Sheikh Rukn-ud-Din Abul Fateh (1251 AD –1335 AD), who is commonly known by the title of Shah Rukn-e-Alam was an eminent Punjabi Sufi saint from Multan in 13th to 14th century. A must visit place in Multan. You've to park your car/vehicle outside in the parking area by paying parking fee of 100 Rs and then have to walk for around 4-5 minutes to reach inside tomb. Generally in day time and weekends it's busy but one can visit in evening or night when it's low rush here.
