Tommi's Burger Joint

Stopped here because of other reviews, I’m glad I did! Wahhh I’m a burger nerd and I constantly am trying burgers everywhere I go. This burger jumped right to #2 on my list. It was absolutely delicious! Fries were great too! Staff was friendly, 80’s rock was playing the place is a whole vibe. I honestly might stop back by again before I leave. Great work guys! 5+ stars

This is an excellent neighborhood Burger/ sandwich place. The food is great. The service is prompt, friendly and polite. The atmosphere is calm and it looks like a diner. They play old Rock and Roll music from the 1960s. It is a fun place to visit and get a good meal. We are tourists from the US and we liked it so much we came back another day for another dinner.

Að mínu mati, this is the best Tommi's Burger Joint in Iceland. The food always delivers and the staff are always friendly and professional. While I frequent this particular location quite often, my best friend visiting town and I were exceedingly impressed with the customer service on Easter Sunday. A lovely employee really brought a smile to my face and heart with her warm, friendly and wholesome character, even in the midst of lunch rush. I entered the establishment hungry and a bit hungover, yet left not only gastronomically satisfied but with a full heart and soul, prepared to take on the spirit of the holiday. 2024-March. Party of 7, Thursday @ 7:35 PM. There were parking spaces at the front but only a couple were open. There was no line at the counter and we seated ourselves. The ambiance is ok.. tea lights in the ceiling and the background music is low enough to be able to have a good conversation. The facility is clean. 2 restroom stalls at the back. We ordered at the counter and our order came out in a few minutes. Our chocolate, strawberry, vanilla, and coffee shakes were soooo good 😋 The burgers are delicious as well! So far, these are the best burgers we have consumed here in Iceland since we got here.. Give it a try if you're missing some good-tasting burgers, fries, and shakes! Bon Appétit 😋! Tommi's is a bit of an institution in Reykjavik, well worth looking at the history. There are plenty of locations to choose from all doing a simple menu that still has a good variety of burgers. We went for the steak burger, fries and sweet potato fries. All the food tasted amazing and there is a large section of toppings and sauces you can help yourself to so it becomes your burger. Highly recommended.

Super tasty burgers, served with excellent fries for a reasonable price. My chicken burger was full of flavour, and came with an excellent sauce/dressing. Love it.

Delicious burgers! No complaints! The front desk staff were very polite and friendly. We both tried the Classic burger (120g, $14 alone) and split the fries/drink (combo was ~$20CAD) we also tried the vanilla milkshake, it was also great--somehow, not too sweet! Quick service, decent prices for how expensive Iceland is.

Staff are friendly, burgers are better than at other Tommi’s spots. 2x85g was the way to go! Will be back.
