All food are so good, we tried tonkatsu, california roll, gyoza and ramen. Thank you for your dessert complimentary. And they have fantastic view and amazing service from all staff.

Upon arriving at the grand entrance of Raffles Wafi Dubai, we were warmly greeted by the valet team, who quickly opened the doors and welcomed us inside. The lobby, topped with a tall atrium, immediately set the tone for a special evening at Tomo Dubai. When we reached the 17th floor, the restaurant staff welcomed us with a traditional greeting. The setting was calm and stylish—modern yet open, designed in a circular layout. A live sushi station, a sleek bar, multiple seating areas, and a central open kitchen created an inviting and relaxed vibe. Three separate balconies gave wide views of the city, with the one overlooking Downtown Dubai standing out the most. The service was excellent throughout our visit. The staff was helpful and respectful without being too present. One team member even offered to take several great photos of us and led us to the perfect spot for pictures. While there was no kids' menu, they thoughtfully brought child-friendly tableware, a coloring sheet, and small colored pencils for our toddler—a very kind and personal touch. The atmosphere stayed quiet and elegant, with the beautiful city views adding to the mood. The menu was wide-ranging, but the staff quickly recommended their top dishes, handed us hot towels, and made sure our toddler was well looked after. The restrooms were clean and up to date. They also asked about allergies and answered our questions clearly and politely. Our meal began with a carefully arranged nigiri platter, featuring five types of fish served over seasoned rice. The seafood tempura platter came with miso soup, steamed rice, and a tangy chicken side dish, while the chicken and leek skewers were gently spiced and perfectly The chicken skewers were flavorful and tender, the maki rolls were fresh and well-made, the tempura was crisp, and the miso soup was warm and comforting. Full credit to the chefs for such a delicious and well-prepared meal. The evening ended with a thoughtful goodbye. A staff member walked us to the elevator, held the door, and bowed politely as we left. This level of care wasn’t limited to one person—it was a shared effort by the whole team, which left a lasting impression. Tomo Dubai is truly a hidden gem. A must-visit for anyone looking for high-quality Japanese dining in Dubai.

Outstanding Japanese Dining Experience at Tomo ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had an incredible dining experience at Tomo Japanese Restaurant! From start to finish, everything was exceptional. The fatty tuna sushi was simply outstanding — melt-in-your-mouth perfection, fresh and full of flavor. The ramen was rich, comforting, and beautifully balanced, with a broth that clearly takes time and care to craft. And the gyoza? Perfectly crisp on the outside and juicy on the inside — easily some of the best we've had. Beyond the food, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, striking that ideal balance between modern and cozy. The staff were absolutely wonderful — kind, attentive, and genuinely welcoming, which made the whole experience even more memorable. We’ll definitely be back soon. Tomo has become a new favorite!

•We were searching for a great tradicional Japanese dining experience in Dubai and are pleased to say we found an excellent one! TOMO restaurant is located inside the Raffles Dubai 5-star hotel, situated on the top floor, it offers a gorgeous view, even at night. And, of course, no words to the food, simply amazing. •The place is spacious and modern, with low lighting that creates a calm and cozy atmosphere. The service is polite and professional, with all the staff being very courteous and attentive. The waiter who served our table was very patient, explaining everything in detail. We enjoyed our experience! •The selection of Courses was more attractive to us, so we ordered the Hana (440 AED) and the Tsuki (620 AED) to try both. These were excellent choices! Every dish was delicious, flavorful, fresh, and perfectly prepared with a balance of softness and crunch. It was an outstanding experience! Highly recommended, without any doubt!! Fantastic staff and settings over the skyline of Dubai. Excellent meal (had to laugh trying to eat a salad with chopsticks) but it all added to the experience. Would highly recommend a visit if you are in Dubai 5 stars all round

An all-around winner among Japanese restaurants in Dubai. Tomorrow serves traditional Japanese cuisine in an iconic hotel with scenic views. TOMO has been my favourite Japanese restaurant for years and although you can also find authentic izakayas and trendy Japanese fusion lounges, Tomo remains the best with amazing food quality, highly trained staff, Japanese chefs and immaculate attention to detail. Another perk is that the restaurant never gets too loud and you can easily have a pleasant conversation with your company throughout the evening. Tomo also offers a great daily business lunch menu at 135 AED per person, worth a try. I always recommend Tomo to friends travelling to or living in Dubai and although it may be far from the bustling areas, it’s more than worth the trip. Recommend trying: Buta kakuni Tofu appetizer Sashimi of chefs choice Sushi otoro, chutoro Unagi don In terms of pricing, Tomo is similar to most of Dubai restaurants but slightly more affordable than the restaurants in DIFC and the Palm. They also have a wonderful wine and sake menu.
