I was excited to come here and try the dorayaki. For some reason, I came here with the impression that there'd also be food, but it is strictly a patisserie, which is fine if you want something small and sweet. I didn't have a stellar experience, mainly because I was very hungry and was probably anticipating on a bigger menu.
I got the Yuzu Ricotta Dorayaki (5.50€); it was very underwhelming and tasted as strange as it sounded. I tasted the yuzu flavor overpowering the ricotta and the only thing the ricotta did was provide a creamy texture. The pancakes were a bit dry but the red beans were cooked to perfection and the red bean paste was alright--nothing phenomenal. It was weird because I heard the pancakes being made (or at least I thought) and they came to me cold, which I've read is the temperate they're supposed to be served. I've only had pre-made dorayaki before, so I was just expecting for it to be like a warm, toasty taiyaki and I wasn't really used to eating cold, bread-like desserts. I think having some of their tea might've made the experience more enjoyable--after all, it is also a tea salon, but I felt like I had already spent enough money on something I wasn't overall satisfied with (and was very pricey, on top of that), to spend more.
I might've just gotten the one that wasn't for my liking because the other ones did sound good. The menu is very small and the pastries are quite pricey, so keep your expectations low!
