Google
My favorite bookstore! If they don’t have a book they can order it for you, but they have a great selection for the size of the store. They also have rotating art, book clubs, and host/support community initiatives. I’m happy to have them on the east side! (Also bonus points for sweet potato the bookstore cat)

Google
TL;DR: It's a great bookstore. A must visit if you are around Indy. Tomorrow is an absolute gem and has truly become a second home for me. The owners are some of the kindest people I've ever met. One of my favorite things is one of the many book clubs they hosts— it’s been the highlight of my year! It’s not just about the books (though they always pick great ones😉); it’s about the wonderful community and the friends I’ve made along the way. Their membership program is fantastic—it gives me great discounts on books and other perks that make it even easier to keep coming back. They special member events (like the advanced reader copy auction) is one of my favorites! This isn’t just a place to buy books; it’s a place to feel at home, meet amazing people, and just be part of the community that will help you get through the year. If you haven’t checked it out yet, you’re missing out!

Favorite bookstore in Indy! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Tomorrow is not just a bookstore, it’s a community. I can rant so much about the weekly book clubs, an annual membership (with exclusive events and so many discounts!), activities with other local businesses/bookshops and so much more. Julia and Jake are amazing, but did you also know about the bookstore’s cat Sweet Potato?🥹 In summary, Tomorrow is one of my most favorite parts about Indy. Ps: I also LOVE all their gay stuff ✨🥰

Google
A charming bookstore with an incredible selection and an even more outstanding staff. Bea has helped me on numerous occasions and is extremely knowledgeable about many genres. I went in looking for a book I saw months prior, didn't know the title, and could only give a vague description of the cover and story. She picked it off the shelf in a matter of moments. I absolutely love Tomorrow Bookstore and you should too.

Google
I stopped in Tomorrow Bookstore while visiting Indy and it was lovely! They are a small shop, but pack in an excellent selection for all types of readers. Great representation in many genres & categories. I also loved their shop t-shirts & totes! I will 100% stop by again if I'm ever back in Indy.

Google
Tomorrow Bookstore is a VIBE! They always have what I’m looking for, but if they don’t, they are more than happy to order it for me. They put on amazing events with local authors and community businesses. I have the yearly membership and am a proud book club member of CPP. Make sure you check them out on your next visit to Mass Ave!

Jake and Julia opened Tomorrow Bookstore early this year in April with a vision to bring international perspectives and diverse writing to Indiana readers. What struck to me is the personalized thought and concept that went into the cute store. There’s a wall dedicated to the owner’s recommendation as well as book publishers suggestions. A very thought out space with exactly the amount of books I need and could peruse through. I picked a book close to my current liking and I also saw some more for next visits. The store has upcoming book clubs and a variety of poet and author visits at the store. A daily schedule is usually published on insta which I thought was pretty neat compared to the regular email updates. The one and only around Mass Ave, definitely a keeper!

Google
Love this bookstore on mass ave! It’s small but they have a good selection of new releases, sci-fi and suspense. There’s young adult section too. The workers are super friendly and helpful, you’re guaranteed to find a book you will like! Plus a couple chairs to sit and enjoy your afternoon reading a little before you buy!

Yelp
Love this place! Picked up a couple books and gifts while we waited for our table at a nearby restaurant! Convenient spot on Mass Avenue! Great selection and friendly staff!

Yelp
This is my favorite bookstore in Indy! Whether you're looking to join a book club, get to meet an author, or just pick up a book or 10 you cannot beat Tomorrow Bookstore. They have plenty of books that are discounted and they also have a fantastic yearly membership! Each month as a member you get access to at least 4 of the previous month's best sellers at a high discount. The booksellers are fantastic at finding me my next mystery five star read, expanding my TBR, and giving me great book recs with any request for anyone I come in with. It's a small shop, but they do a fantastic job at curating their selection. There is something for everyone & if you can't find what you're looking for just ask! There is also a shop cat named Sweet Potato who is a sassy icon.

Yelp
I'd been following Tomorrow Bookstore on social media, however, I'd never managed to make it in to check it out. Located in the 800 block of Mass Avenue, Tomorrow Bookstore has a relatively small storefront that they use quite nicely. It appears that on nice days they also put a table of books outside their door. I'd decided I wanted to spend some time on Mass Avenue today in advance of heading into my downtown office. Tomorrow Bookstore was definitely one of my intended destinations. It's no secret that this area has grown quite nicely without losing its Mass Avenue vibe (unlike, say, Broad Ripple). There's a parking garage about a block away, a parking lot by The Garage Food Hall, and metered spots (including disabled parking) on the street nearby. If on the street, as I was, you do have to be careful given Mass Avenue is two-lane. Tomorrow Bookstore first snagged my attention with their delightful response to an apparent review criticizing the store for having "mostly gay stuff." What did they do? They made t-shirts. Hilarious. Tomorrow is a definite indie bookstore and, indeed, it does tend to carry a nicely curated selection with a nice combination of mainstream and edgier titles. A local author, Jeremiah King, was doing a book signing - of course, I bought a copy and chatted with him for a bit. There's definitely not a lot of space to do big events, however, there's definitely enough space to do book signings. I'll be honest. I was leaning toward a 4-star due to the tightness of the space and a quiet employee, however, this same employee turned into quite the dazzler rather quickly. As a wheelchair user, you'll often hear me talk about the fact that some businesses may not truly be accessible but they make it happen because of attitude and service. That's what happened here. I will admit I could get around pretty well here, however, there was one corner where I was headed and it was unlikely to happen - suddenly, this employee appeared out of nowhere and made it clear she was making it accessible. And she did. Would I say Tomorrow is truly 100% accessible? Absolutely not. However, there's an attitude of making it happen and that makes a big difference in these smaller, older spots. At that point, I knew I was bouncing up to 5-stars and I also knew I wouldn't (and didn't) leave without making a purchase. There's a lot to love here with a great selection of books and other items. There's a pleasant atmosphere and helpful, hospitable team. They support local authors and really complement this neighborhood quite nicely. In short, I'll be back (but probably not tomorrow).

Yelp
Such a beautiful bookstore! I've stopped by twice now and enjoy browsing through the selection. The space is a bit tight when it's busy but I can't complain because all the customers are shopping local which makes me so happy. The staff are friendly and willing to chat about what you are looking for.

Yelp
Tomorrow Bookstore is my go-to place for browsing new and unique reads. They sell a variety of best sellers, but where they really shine is the books they choose to highlight on their tables. They display translated books and have a rotating table of recommendations depending on what month it is (Black History month, pride month, etc). Their nonfiction section is particularly good and the owners are always down to give recommendations. They host TONS of events, so be sure to check their instagram for all the details!

Yelp
Love this new bookstore on Mass Ave! Just a few steps away from the Bottleworks District, Tomorrow Bookstore fills a hole left in the area after Indy Reads moved to Fountain Square. You will find a great selection of adult, teen & children's titles and non-fiction too. I enjoyed the staff picks and reading why they were recommended and thought it was a nice touch. They also have a few gifts, tote bags and t-shirts but the emphasis seems to be on books, at least for the moment. The shop was busy while I was there - so great to see people out supporting a local indie bookstore. Definitely stop in if you are searching for something great to read.

Yelp
Love! So happy this opened up on Mass Ave, love the curated books and also the idea of a book exchange on weekends. Not much seating space inside, but they have a great selection of books and merch. Personally haven't read tomorrow tomorrow tomorrow but maybe will get a chance to swap it in a future book exchange!

Yelp
Honestly, an independent, community focused bookstore is exactly what Mass Ave and Bottleworks has been needing! Tomorrow is quaint and cozy, which creates the feeling you just want to snuggle up with a good book. Because they're smaller, they might not have everything you're looking for but they will happily order it for you! Note: you can also order from them at bookshop.com - support local!

Yelp
I totally recommend this bookstore! When I walked in they were sorting out books and making sure everything was good for customers. They had a wide variety of good books; children's books, fiction, non-fiction, young adult books etc. Had some funny stickers too

Yelp
How exciting, a new book store on Mass Ave such a great addition. It's very small and quaint but lots to offer. Many books, games, puzzles and gift items. It was very quiet inside and just makes you feel right at home. A very stress free adventure.

Yelp
This bookstore is very cute with a friendly chill vibe. It's a must visit and I can't wait for my next trip to Indy so I can go again!

Yelp
Love this new bookstore on Mass Ave. It's a perfect addition the the neighborhood! Well laid out and plenty of reading options. Nice seating area to just relax and enjoy. Come out and support another local business!

Yelp
Support local businesses! Tomorrow is an adorable indie bookstore that has a great assortment of fiction, nonfiction, young adult, and graphic novels. There are even themed displays, like the "local favorites" at the front of the store! If you want to relax and "sample" a book before buying, there is a comfy sitting area with chairs, candles, and wall hangings. Instead of ordering a book online or going to a chain store, come to Tomorrow Bookstore for an experience with friendly staff, great vibes, and a large variety of books!

Yelp
Wow! An actual bricks and mortar book store! Had a couple books I needed and didn't want to give my $ to Amazon so called and ordered books, which they got in an impressive 24 hours! I'll gladly pay a little more than the big online money suck to have a neighborhood independent bookstore. Indy is looking better with this new beauty on the Ave! Long May it reign. Off to read!

Yelp
Tomorrow bookstore is a new independent bookstore that opened up on Mass Ave. downtown, and I stopped in to pick up a Yelp Indy elite perk for the week. It was a Yelp tote bag and it was very nice. The bookstore is very quaint and has a nice selection of best sellers and other variety of fiction and non-fiction books. The prices are regular for what you would pay at a Barnes and Noble, but some books appeared to be pricer than others for some odd reason. I checked out the discount book rack in the store , and found an interesting book that peaked my interest, so decided to purchase the book. The books in the store are very independent to Indy and cover a wide range of areas. The decor and ambiance in the bookstore is very unique and has a lot of character that makes it so warm and fun to browse around and look at books. There is a book swap table in the front of the bookstore in which you can bring your own book to swap with another book on the table to read. It is a very creative way to read different types of books. There is a young man at the counter who was very professional and helpful with questions about the bookstore and any of the books in the store. He provided excellent customer service. I'm so glad Indy has opened up more independent bookstores in the area, because we need more bookstores. Tomorrow bookstore is a wonderful addition to downtown Indy, and I have a feeling it will be successful on Mass Ave. because there is no bookstore in downtown Indy, and this will generate a lot of foot traffic and interest from local Indy folks and tourists as well. We need character and culture on Mass Ave. and Tomorrow bookstore brings that to us!

Yelp
I love Tomorrow! I keep coming back because I love the selection, the employees are awesome, and the merch is fantastic. And as the kids would say, the vibes are immaculate.

Yelp
Service. The service is fantastic. The shop is locally owned and the owners are very kind and will help you find whatever you are looking for. If you can't find it in stock they will get it ordered quickly for you. Location. The location is great. It is attached the the Bottleworks complex. Easy walking distance from Mass Ave, Old Northside, or the Near Eastside. Parking. There is plenty of parking nearby whether it be a lot, street parking or a garage. Book Selection. They focus on new books. They have a very large inventory of best sellers and those more niche books. Other goods. They also have a nice selection of things that aren't books. Think candles, coffee, etc.

Yelp
My favorite indie bookstore in downtown Indy! The staff were helpful, it's always well stocked with a mix of bestsellers and popular books - but it also has some more niche titles too. My daughter always finds something in their kid section. I have a membership as well and love the discounts and author events they make available to members. It's a great way to support local bookstores while also getting great deals on books. If you love reading, this is a must check out!

Yelp
Mass Ave was in desperate need of an Indie bookstore and I'm so glad Tomorrow filled the void! I always love popping in to see what's new and absolutely love the curation and layout of the main tables to promote new or different titles. I also enjoy browsing the non-book section for gifts (I.e. candles, puzzles, mugs, etc.) and love how there's a small discount section as well. There's constantly book clubs or author events and I've yet to attend one but hope to soon!

Yelp
This is such a fun addition to their corner of Mass Ave/Bottleworks! I especially love their staff recommendation section right up front and their shelf of fun non-book gifts and trinkets. Not necessarily a giant place to go to find something specific but so cute and cozy to browse and find a new read. They will definitely have things that are in the news (like a celebrity's memoir) or just named to a big book club list, so I do think you could go there specifically for something like that.
google avatar

Yelp
What an awesome little bookstore! We came in while wandering after an afternoon at the Garage and were pleasantly surprised to find this bookshop. There was a great selection of books that are reasonably priced for a small business. There is a small reading area that can be used as well. The service was quick and friendly! I would come back! P.S. They have a very cute and friendly cat, which is always a bonus!
google avatar

DJ E.

Yelp
You wouldn't believe how many books can be fit in this spot! Every time I'm there, I find even more gems! I kept gasping and saying "this is on my list!" Julia is so kind and has talked to me about the books I've selected, books she would recommend, and services they offer, but has never interrupted my book hunt or been pushy about anything. I love the selection here; I feel it's very diverse and offers me books I wouldn't normally find but I end up loving! Also say "hi" to Sweet Potato for me if she's there!

Yelp
Found this little bookshop towards the end of Mass Ave. They host events and even have a cute little poetry submission every 3 months with the winner's poem posted in their store! They had all the best books and then some more. Will definitely be getting my books from here while living in Indianapolis! #shoplocal
