Tomtom Kebap

Came here because I saw there is a line so I decided to give it a chance. The place is pretty small but cozy. I liked the staff and how they were welcoming us. Kebap was very good, but I didn’t feel it was so special comparing to other places. Maybe I am not a connoisseur. Overall it was a nice experience but if you have to wait too much in line I would say that you can skip it.

Best food in Istanbul so far. The guys were super kind and attentive as well. We got free salad, tea, and huge amount of bread. Have in mind that the place is small and you will probably have to wait a bit to get a table but it’s totally worth it.

You know it's good when you have to que But its worth the wait. Food is authentic and flavoursome. Freshest meat on the traditional Turkish grill Service was amazing so attentive bringing us fresh bread and napkins as we eat.

We came back after our visit a week ago! (Seems we are not the only one whom made a return). Just love the shish chicken as it was well marinated and so tender, and the spicy tomato dip is a must. We discovered that the lentil soup one our second visit and I think it’s d best we have around Turkey.

[EDITED REVIEW] I loved this restaurant!! We visited last weekend; it took around 15 min to get a table since it was busy, but it was worth it! We had some hummus and a chicken shish kebab. The waiters speak very little English, but we still communicated and had the best time. Everything tasted so fresh and delicious! Prices were fair and the ambiance was lovely! We went back during the day and it was very easy to get a table! I also took some photos this time (since my phone died the previous time) so here they are! The owner even gave us a humus for free because she recognized us, such a great gesture! I highly recommend this place🫶🏻

We came here twice during our visit of Istanbul. It was the best meal we had for a reasonable price. We had to wait for around 20 minutes but it was worth the wait. We absolutely loved the eggplant dip and chicken and lamb skewers. 100% recommend!

Best food we’ve had in Istanbul. The lamb is awesome and the kebab is great. Wish there could even be options for the grilled green pepper. Can never have enough of their home made bread. Definitely recommend it to everyone!

One of the best places fpe kebab. It's very nice, soft and tasty. Definitely worth visiting. The place is tiny and you need to be ready for a short queue sometimes to be seated, but the food is worth the wait. We are visiting this place every time we stay in Istanbul. The owners are very friendly and helpful.
