The amazing reviews of TomTom Kebap was the reason I had to try it out. And the food did not disappoint! It took a bit long to get our food, but its a really small restaurant that gets very busy, so it is understandable. And we didn't mind. It was worth the wait. We had a hummus starter and they gave us a salad on the house - the hummus was creamy and delicious, and the salad was really tasty and delicious! We all had the Adana kebap, and just like previous reviews, it really is the best we've had in Istanbul. And we had it from quite a few places. It was really juicy and flavorful. Not spicy at all, in our opinion. We also had the falafel, which was good as well. The staff were helpful, and they knew our food was talking a while so refilled our starter bread with the hummus. A great experience - I definitely recommend!

My wife and I had dinner here on a Friday night. We got a table immediately, when we left there was a short line. The staff (owner?) were fantastic—welcoming and funny, attentive but not too. Plenty of fresh pide delivered as needed. The Ezme is delicious. The various kebaps were terrific. The chicken with tomato was especially delicious. Everything was terrific. We hadn’t ordered the salad and the owner brought one as a ‘gift’—very generous. Perhaps he liked our very bad attempts at Turkish (hello, please, thank you)?

There’s a reason this place is popular: a delicious culinary experience after a long day. The waiters keep everything under control – both the tables and the queue. Your food arrives right away, and the prices are reasonable. Just watch your feet if you’re sitting outside – the cars come close. :-)

We got here for dinner and there was a line to get in! It's a tiny little restaurant and people come and lineup just to eat here. That was a really good sign as there are so many other places to eat around this neighborhood with no wait. The food was amazing!! Definitely try the Adana kabob. Everything is made fresh in front of you! The wait was worth it for us

This is a very small restaurant, with very few tables. Because of this, you might have to wait a bit to get a seat. The service was okay, neither good nor bad. To be honest, the meat (kebap) I ordered was disappointing, as it was lacking seasoning and flavor. However, the falafel was absolutely wonderful, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. It was so good that I would return 1000 times just to eat the falafel again. The restaurant accepts credit card payments.

I had their lamb skewers and it was so brilliantly prepared. It has so much flavour, juicy, right amount of smokiness - it is a definite must try. They also served me some starters which was also very yummy. Recommend!!

Google
A lot of people want to eat in this place, which is a good sign - always a line to wait! We ended up getting the chicken shish + yoghurt - it was very tasty and size was perfect. Owners are very nice and hospitable! Good experience!

Google
Tomtom Kebap was incredible! We had the chicken and minced meat wraps — omg, they were so tasty, packed with flavor and perfectly cooked. They also serve a delicious mixed veggie dip with warm pita bread on the house, which was such a nice touch. The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming, and the service was fantastic — friendly, attentive, and fast. A definite must-try in Istanbul for anyone craving quality kebabs in a great setting!

Yelp
This is a small family run restaurant with excellent kebabs and durum. The meal begins with a free plate if warm oily toasted pita and garlicky hummus or vegetables. The Adana durum is made with crunchy pita wrapped around ground meat, spices and vegetables served with a few seared peppers and tomatoes. it's a good value, too. Somewhere I saw someone say it was overpriced. No way.

Yelp
It's a 7/10 place and definitely not go out of your way or go the next day again kinda place. It's cute, seemingly family run, tight space but efficient with outdoor seating also. Adana kababs were decent, Urfa didn't have much flavor for me. I just had the most wonderful Adana kababs in Adiyaman and was expecting Istanbul to top or atleast match that but it didn't. Atleast not this spot. And it's $450/kabab. People seem to like this place as 5 star but honestly I wouldn't give it more than 3.5. You decide for yourself.

Yelp
Finally a shish kabob with a nice char. Enjoyed the complimentary vegetable dip and bread. I would skip the falafel because it needs a dipping sauce and ate dry. Sadly I did not order the durrum wraps or lamb kebabs which looked amazing. Only four outdoor tables on an incline street, but indoor tables if you don't mind the indoor grill. Service was prudent but could be more gracious.

Yelp
Excellent kebabs. This is a very modest looking establishment where the owner grills her own meat. But the flavors -- oh, they are amazing. I would rate this as one of the best kebab places we are in Istanbul. Definitely don't go for the ambience, but the food is excellent. The owner was also very gracious in serving us and brought us several items complimentary. Everything we got here was just amazing. The chicken, beef, lamb -- everything! A must repeat when I visit Istanbul again.

Yelp
We came at 1:30 for lunch not open We came at 2 because they said open at 2 - not open We came at 3 still not open Come back 7:30 and so many people we couldn't get in. So stupid and no apology, no accommodation what so ever.

Yelp
The Best Kebabs in all of Istanbul! It's fresh and full of flavor. The team is kind and professional. I really enjoyed the complimentary vegetable dip with bread . The eggplant , yogurt and hummus appetizers are a must order with any dish. I really love how the meat is juicy and is full of flavor. Keep up the good work TomTom Kebab . I will for sure be back .

Yelp
I was looking for good place for grills while in Isteklal street and from a side road you find this calm and cozy place. Everything was perfect, they were very welcoming and answering every question I had about the menu. The food was so tasty, the grilled chicken was marinated very well and the Kebab with aubergine skewer was the best lamb taste I ever experienced. The cost is not reflecting the great food and service!

Yelp
Ahhh my fav place in Istanbul. It had the most amazing grilled kebab wraps and lentil soup. Wish I could eat more! It's a hole in the wall and is owned by a family..they are soo welcoming and this place is located in the most sophisticated streets of Istanbul ( Beyoglu). It's a busy place but for all good reasons..
