Ton Greg's Pizzeria

I read a lot of positive reviews about this place. Visited with mixed feelings. We got seated quickly indoors while it was crowded, that was friendly from the staff. Restaurant had a wooden oven which shows authenticity for their food. While selecting our main courses the waiter (don’t recall his name) became quickly inpatient and rude that the restaurant was busy and can’t make alterations on pizza toppings. Anyway we selected two pizzas (see photos). The cheese pizza was amazing while the veggie pizza was not good. The mushrooms and artichoke were not fresh at all! Can taste they’re from the can! When we asked for other veggies or fruits, the restaurant said they’re all from the can! I’d suggest to check each topping else you’ll have a similar experience. Recommend to stick to simple pizzas without many toppings. Atmosphere was nice and cozy. Good option to visit while being on La Digue.

The pizza was from a wooden oven and was extremely good (in Italy we only tried a similar quality pizza on Como lake). Pasta was delicious either. They serve house wines: red, rose and white by glasses and even sparkling wine by glasses. Unfortunately no tiramisu was available and the coffee machine was in service, apart from that nothing to complain of. They have hired new personnel which were very friendly and helpful.

After a beach day we went to the Pizzeria because the have a wooden oven. We sit outside. Inside it was well climated. Service came auick and the softdrinks came in a bottle with a glas with ice, perfect! Food came fast es well and same time for both. Pizza was almost like in italy. The smoked fish tasted very good. The prizes were also acceptable. Around 250SCR for a pizza. Normal prizes for restaurant in Seychelle. I can really recommend that restaurant, thanks for the service!

We really enjoyed our food here. We had 2 pizzas, a capricciosa and a tuna one and they we both delicious. Service was also lovely. No complaints. Would recommend and would go back too.

Good quality Italian hot stone pizza nice portion! One of the best in La Digue Marco the chef was very friendly and welcoming! See you again another 2-3years

Be very careful ! My wife and I got sick during few days, abdominal pain and diarrhea. We did not eat elsewhere that day. It was for both of us vegeterian pizza with tuna. This fact put appart, the pizzas were not even good. The veggies were not fresh, probably canned particularly the mushrooms, and the dough was dry. Poor value for money, too expensive for what it is. We don't understand how this place has such good reviews (4.2/5), it clearly does not deserve it. For your own sake you should eat elsewhere.

I think the best pizza on the island is available here, the staff is nice, the Seychellois pizza is amazingly delicious, it's worth trying and to finish, you have to order a tiramisu. Grazie allo chef italiano per i sapori!🙏
