"Toni Patisserie & Cafe, Loop. Toni is perfect for a casual lunch that demands to impress. Fresh bread, delicate pastries, espresso with a side of sparkling water—the works! Additional sidewalk seating is a treat for long summer afternoons. If bread is your thing, Toni bakers change their recipes seasonally, so at the very least stop in to grab a fresh loaf for the walk home."
I wish I could give more than a OK 3 star review, the owner seems very nice and polite. the place looks like the real deal, a French patisserie however service is pretty slow and the food does not quiet make it. It has great reviews on google but I can not understand why after our visit. The eggs Benedict in the pic is ok but the biscuit was terrible, potato’s is semi cooked and the onion and bell peppers almost raw. I managed to finish my plate before any of the other family members receive theirs and unfortunately I had to even ask for it since staff seemed stressed over the amount of people they had. Probably 15-20min between the plates served. I had a cafe late that got sent back as it was only hot milk more or less. Their replacement of black coffee was left untouched. The family likes their crepes so also the almond croissant. For families with babies or kids the restrooms are shared and more ore less public (not to be used). Had high expectations but sadly fell short on this visit.

Wonderful place to gather and chat with friends, to relax after a long day, or to shelter in a cold winter night, have a few sips of coffee, and enjoy a french pastry. The staff are lovely and ensure you find what you ordered quickly. It’s a pity they don’t stay open until midnight! I recommend the chocolate mousse.

Love this place. It is a great place for breakfast. I had the egg benedicts. Must say that they use really quality ham. Those potatoes are surprisingly flavorful and delicious. I was there on a lazy Christmas Eve morning. It does get busier on other days. On boxing day, I also had the very pretty and delicious Oeuf et Jambon (savory crepe stuff with ham, gruyere & swiss Cheeses, and topped with a poached egg).

Mocha was great as well as the decor and indoor seating atmosphere. The crepes on the other hand was disappointing. We didn’t have desert but they looked really good. Hopefully next time. The building interior architecture is a hidden gem in Chicago.

The food was fantastic. Very original french crepes, totally recommend them, and their desserts are delicious and not overly sweet. The only reason I’m not giving 5 stars is because the servers weren’t too nice and they screwed up our order. Otherwise, great place for an afternoon coffee and treat, brunch on the weekend or quick lunch during the week.

Feels like Paris , smells like Paris and definitely taste like Paris . We enjoyed our macrons and coffee in the way to the bean and it was a very cool pit stop . Very clean with wide variety of deserts and all served with beautiful smile in this cozy place .

I really love this place. The staff is always friendly and attentive. The food is DELICIOUS specifically the Mediterranean salad (comes with the most amazing feta vinaigrette), quiche Lorraine and croque monsieur. And their oatmeal chocolate chip cookie is one of the best I've ever had.

Such a delightful little cafe. So French! Loved it. Had the chocolate eclair and salted caramel tart. Absolutely delicious but a little pricey. I’d go back though. It is worth the treat.
