Tonito Hotel

Great hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. The rooms were comfy and spacious and breakfast is included. The Minuteman pizza restaurant in the hotel is also very good!

Its a very warm and welcoming place. The owner Sussy greeted us personally at the reception. Her husband Chris runs the attached Pizzaria Minuteman where you will find the best pizza in town. Probably in the whole of Bolivia. The location of the hotel is perfect. Just 100 meters from the bus station and even closer to the main part of the town. Rooms are spacious, clean and have big beds. The shower is great with plenty of hot water and the internet is very strong and stable. Love this place and the owners. Would be more than happy to stay here again. Thanks Sussy and Chris for providing a home away from home. 🙏

Great family run hotel in Central Uyuni. Rooms are clean, comfortable and warm. ||The hotel has a fantastic pizza restaurant in it, which is always busy. In the mornings this is where the large and varied buffet breakfast happens. ||The hotel can also organise Salt Flats tours and advise for anything you need in town.

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at the hotel! From the moment I stepped through the door, I was welcomed with such warmth and care that I truly felt like I was at home. Chris and Sussy, the owners, went above and beyond to ensure that I was comfortable, especially considering the challenges I faced due to altitude sickness during my trip.||The room I stayed in was not only impeccably clean but also filled with natural light, making it feel incredibly cozy and homely. However, what truly amazed me was the food. The breakfast was an absolute delight, and knowing that Chris and Sussy made everything themselves made it even more special. Those scones were simply divine, and the coffee was fantastic. They provided a breakfast that had everything one could wish for.||A massive bonus was discovering that Tonito Hotel serves the best pizza in town, a gem that was recommended not only by the locals but also by my tour guide. It's evident that this place is adored by everyone who visits. ||I can't express enough how much I appreciate the exceptional staff and the inviting atmosphere of the hotel. Without a doubt, I will be returning for another stay in the future. Thank you, Chris and Sussy, for making my stay so memorable and enjoyable!

This was the absolute best hotel! The owners are very warm and welcoming! We felt like family! The hotel is very clean and comfortable! The hotel also has a great courtyard and patio which adds ro the confort of relaxing and enjoying the space outside of your room! Very walkable and safe location! The on site restaurant is GREAT! Very delicious breakfast and also loved the pizzas for dinner! I highly recommend this hotel!

Excellent!!! Everything our group of 40 cyclists needed after coming off the salt flats was right here - secure garage, in-house laundry service, hot showers, wifi, and cozy rooms. Plenty of attractive common areas, nooks, and a sunny patio, all with elegant propane tower heaters, just a block off the main plaza. Uyuni’s top-rated Minuteman Pizza is onsite and the same chef prepares the included breakfast buffet, all homemade and artfully presented. Specialty coffees, sodas, beer, and wine by the glass are available all day. The owners, Chris and Suzi, exemplify the warmth that draws travelers to South America. Toñito is filled with stickers and club logos, license plates, and mementos of the many adventurers who enjoyed this relaxing oasis in the salt flats.

We chose this place for before and after our Uyuni tour, and we were very happy with it. It sits between budget and mid-range (I think) but has a great vibe and the two owners are lovely and incredibly helpful. They probably helped us in 5 or more different ways during our stay, and we valued this immensely. The pizza restaurant in the hotel is great too. It worked very well for us, including two kids aged 11 and 6.

This hotel was absolutely the best! The owners are warm, friendly and very welcoming! We felt like family! The facility is clean and comfortable! There are great courtyards and a patio to add to the overall very relaxing atmosphere. Such a great experience and great value! Definitely recommended!
