22 Best Restaurants in Buenos Aires for Parrilla, Pasta, and Potatoes | Condé Nast Traveler

"Neon sign, Chinese signage in acrylic, emerald tiles: Tony Wu Cantina China is Villa Crespo doing NYC’s Chinatown. Expect a lazy Susan rotating at the round table, retro movie posters like In the Mood for Love, fishbowl cocktails, and a semi-open kitchen with roasted ducks and pork on display. It's theatrical, it's fun, and you know immediately this isn't your standard Buenos Aires Chinese spot. The menu is regional Chinese dishes done right—woks firing, soups simmering, dumplings and baos coming out hot. The showstopper is the roasted duck served with pancakes, cucumber, scallions, and plum sauce. Hot & sour soup delivers proper heat and tang; fried chicken stays juicy under its crackling skin. Delgado and Nguyen are capturing authentic Chinese flavors but making them accessible to porteño palates." - Celeste Moure, Allie Lazar

Delicious modern takes and presentations on classic Chinese dishes. Impeccable service. Fun atmosphere. Three visits in just over a week and each one just had us wanting to return again.

Very cute ambiance and great food. Very authentic like going to HK! I over ordered and was very glad because the tastes all so different and lovely. Staff was very kind.

the day we went, them shaomai overpowered by white pepper. Too much, numbing your tounge mapo tofu is too salty. i do not think they taste the food before dispatched it. The rice is alil bit dry. They do justice for their crispy pork belly. Juice and well seasoned.

Great spot for real spicey authentic chinese food. Great attention to detail with excellent background music, waiters constantly filling up water for free, and great cutlery/plates. The ambience was fantastic but would advise owners to include rice for free with the dishes.

The overall vibe of the place is special. The food was awesome, the set up is cozy with chill music and the prices let you try a few different dishes. I'll be coming back for sure.

Basic - just in style - no reserves but don’t let you in sometimes. Better just fast than eat here.
