A gem in Amsterdam! A must visit if you are a chocolate lover! We went in a weekday afternoon, had already a long line but only waited for about 20 minutes until we got in. A variety of chocolate and souvenirs to pick from. The staff was super kind and helpful. Created our own chocolates, which took about 2h30 to be done, but they send you a message when it’s ready and the pick up was really quick I was expecting to see a bigger space and a coffee shop tho. But it’s cool to be able to watch the process of making the chocolates. Still great experience and delicious chocolate for any taste!

Go early for no crowds! I went at opening on a weekday and walked right in. I really enjoyed visiting the Tony's store. The staff was very helpful. As someone with food allergies, I was not able to make my own bar but what a cool idea! The staff had an allergen card where I could see exactly which bars were safe for me and I bought way too much chocolate. It's cool, they have an Amsterdam specific bar can buy as a souvenir.

A great tourist trap for a stock up on your favorite chocolate bars. So many delicious flavors. It's a colorful shop and you can also make your very own custom chocolate bar! Pretty fun! Prices are slightly higher than buying at a regular grocery store.

A fun little venue for any Tony's fan. We actually visited twice during our stay! On the first visit we queued for around 30 minutes to make our own bars. It is a fun experience and nice to be able to make a bar which was personalised with ingredient combinations which are not available in store. I felt it was reasonably priced for the experience. We went back that evening to pick them up and then visited again the following day for some bars of the shelf. There was no queue the next day so there is clearly peak times which we had not looked into. We brought 6 bars for around €25 euro as there was a promotion, so again, value for money 🍫

Visit a pop up shop for Tony’s under a church, and the experience was amazing! I’ve long heard about the amazing work Tony’s works towards, and the experience doesn’t shy away from that when you first enter with a quick video. After that you can see a wall of chocolate bars of varying “darkness” with different treats sprinkled in. Not pictured are the two bars I ended up grabbing, a dark almond bar, and a special edition Ben and Jerry’s double chocolate bar. I also appreciate the small display that walks you through the company’s history from first wrapper to tried and failed products like milk! :D If you have the time, you could line up to create your own personal bar with unique toppings.

Love being able to create our own custom chocolate bar. The company and its mission is so inspiring, and if you’re buying chocolate anywhere else, you need to reconsider 🤷🏽‍♀️ Also… the chocolate is delicious!

There was a queue outside and we waited over 30 minutes to get in. Entry is free, which is a plus but the shop itself is quite small. It’s mainly just a shop selling the same Tony’s bars you can easily find in everyday shops. I expected something more on the lines of Hershey’s World in New York or the M&M’s store—maybe not as massive, but something a bit more immersive. The main draw is the “create your own chocolate” station, but that had another long line and you have to come back two hours later to pick it up. We ended up skipping it. All in all, it was a bit underwhelming. Still, if you’re keen to design your own chocolate bar it might be worth a visit.
