Google
This place offers amazing, high-quality seafood! We were incredibly full after a delicious meal including a whole crab, a dozen broiled oysters, a crab sandwich, and a shrimp salad. The owner's passion for crabs truly shines through, even introducing us to his 7-year-old crab. A must-visit for seafood lovers!

Google
Tony’s crab shack is a seafood lovers dream! I ended up with the crab cakes, lobster roll and some clam chowder and garlic Ciabatta bread. I’ll start of by saying the clam chowder was my favorite portion of the meal. Probably my favorite clam chowder I’ve had on the Oregon coast! In second; the Crab cakes. The texture was perfect (they don’t deep fry), and they were massive, one would have been enough for sure! My least favorite was the lobster roll, it was good, the flavor was good, but they texture was way too chewy. I understand they’re “Maine” lobsters but it’s still possible to not overcook. $69 for two meals and 3 drinks. Don’t let the long line fool you! They are super quick! I waited in line longer than I waited for my food. You be the judge!!

Google
We ordered the crab sandwich...It was loaded with fresh crab and served on the best garlic toast. So worth the cost! Paired with a cup of their creamy clam chowder, it was the best lunch I've had on the entire Oregon coast. Staff was friendly and offered suggestions for other places to visit while in town. Great food!

Google
Great service, outstanding food! Cute place right on the water, small and cozy. Very clean and inviting, with a great outdoor seating area. Easily the best crab cakes I've had anywhere in the United States. Clam chowder is outstanding as well! We go to Tony's every time we're in Oregon (we're from South Dakota.) We'll be back again in a few months, and will go right to Tony's for amazing seafood!! Highly Recommended!!

Google
Big juicy oysters, delicious crab, and shrimp sandwich and the finest lobster rolls in town. We highly recommend for your seafood craving pick up a wall to the trap while you’re there take him on your travels.

Google
I’m flabbergasted anybody could give this place less than five stars. Undeniably the best crabcakes I’ve ever had. John came out of the back of the kitchen with a huge Dungeness crab for us to hold and take photos with. Besides the food, it was just a great experience.

Jamie Ferren

Google
Absolutely incredible! The food was insanely fresh and flavorful — I’m still dreaming about that crab. The service? Top tier. Everyone was so friendly, helpful, and genuinely cared about our experience. You can tell they love what they do. The atmosphere was laid-back and coastal, just what you want when you’re by the sea. Can’t wait to come back!

We ordered the lobster roll sandwich and bowl of clam chowder to go and I was pleased with the fact that my soup was still piping hot when I got home. My only complaint is that they charged me $1.50 extra for each item to take it to go and the potatoes in the soup were not quite done but the flavor was amazing!

Yelp
Great food and atmosphere. Reasonably priced. The staff is friendly and accomodating. Fun place for families.

Yelp
After a long walk on the beach we were craving seafood & spotted Tony's. While we waited for our food the staff came by and few times to check on us, make small talk & cracked some jokes. They were really friendly & seemed to enjoy connecting with guests which was fun to watch. I wanted to try the lobster roll but sadly they were sold out, so instead I tried the Bandon's famous crab sandwich & some chowder. The sandwich was light and fresh, not heavy or greasy. The crab was the star of the show, nestled on a bed of crisp greens and perfectly toasted sourdough...ugh SO good! The tasty chowder really hit the spot after being out in the cold. Will definitely be back!

Yelp
Since we were on the Oregon Coast, we really wanted seafood with a view of the ocean. This fit the bill. It's just across the parking lot from the water. The inside is small, maybe 6 tables. There is four times as much seating outside, but it was full when we arrived which was fine because we just got it to go and took it over to one of the benches by the water. You do order at the counter, there will be a line, it does close at 7:00 pm and they will run out of items like crab as it gets close to 7:00 pm. We had the crab sandwich, the crab cocktail, and a couple of beers. It seemed pretty pricey for an order at the counter, and you get it with a bag of chips or a little container of Coleslaw. However, the sandwich and the cocktail were both very good. The sandwich was served on two slices of butter toasted bread with leaf lettuce, just a dollop of sauce and lots of delicious crab. Seriously a delicious sandwich. The crab cocktail was loose crabmeat with a little bit of cocktail sauce. Again, the crabmeat was utterly delicious. It was definitely worth trying. I'm not sure how often I would go as it doesn't seem like a very good value, but if you want to treat yourself, this is a great option.

Yelp
Hubby wanted whole crab for his birthday and we were told in a few places that the season is over, so we were happy to find this. The line was about an hour long as it was mid-July. The food was ok. $24 for a simple coho salmon sandwich and a small bag of chips definitely was not worth it. I should have gotten the kids hot dog. The crab was ok, but was stringy and fell apart as soon as it was out of the shell. But the location is great and employees were friendly. And it fit the bill for what he was craving.

Yelp
Solid seafood with a solid outdoor view. What more can you ask for a road side crab shack! FOOD We ordered 18 oysters and a crab and shrimp combo cocktail. The oyster itself was pretty decent. It tasted average but they were huge and creamy. It was so creamy, we had to buy some garlic bread to go along with it. Definitely not recommend buying 1.5 dozen, we just thought it was small ones. The crab and shrimp cocktails were okay. The shrimp were tiny and it seems like frozen shrimps you get from Costco. SERVICE Service is pretty decent. You will need to wait a while to order because the line is out the door, but it would take a few mins for they get your order to you.

Yelp
Waterfront dining done right! No frills, amazing food and friendly service:) Not too many seats inside, but plenty of seating outdoors The crab sandwich changed my mind on a lobster roll. Much better texture of meat
google avatar

TJ H.

Yelp
The waterfront restaurant. The staff was friendly and efficient. Inside seating was limited, plenty outside seating. They had a great oldies station playing on the radio. Food was prepared and delivered quickly. The seafood combo was amazing, it was cooked to perfection. Fish tacos and crab cakes were scrumptious. There home made TNT sauce was delicious.

Yelp
We stopped in for lunch before an afternoon round at Bandon and overall enjoyed the food but have to say that the award winner crab sandwich portion for the price was very meager. Basically a 4-5 bite sandwich for $18 (with chips). Friendly staff at this walk up establishment. Gotta walk a bit if you need a restroom and use the public facilities.

Katie A.

Yelp
Love this place. Not as big of a fan of the chowder as some others, but the sandwiches are amazing. I love getting the signature crab sandwich. Service was great, they always come and check in on the customers as we eat!
google avatar

John G.

Yelp
Yes, yes, yes! What an adorable place to eat. Staff was great, food was delicious, and there is a glass room on the pier where you can eat at a jumbo table and enjoy the views.

Yelp
This place was so good!!!! A little beachy fisher.an area is so cute and delicious. Outside seating and inside, not fancy, but the seafood is so fresh and good. The service was fast and they were busy!
google avatar

Matthew K.

Yelp
Driving through town we saw this place and had to stop because it was such an awesome looking place! The staff was very friendly and even came over multiple times to check on us and see if we needed anything which is always a plus for such a small restaurant. The Oysters and Crab Cake were absolutely delicious! The only downfall was the Chowder was more of a potato soup with very small slivers of clam, but maybe I just got an unlucky scoop?
google avatar

Alyssa M.

Yelp
Local fishermen coming in for lunch is a great sign. The staff know customers by name. It's very charming. I can't remember having g a better oyster. Don't skip this gem.

Yelp
Fantastic place for sea food!!!!!! Great food!!! Great service!! Friendly people!! Funny silly Jokes!!! Not a lot of seating inside, lots of places outside if the weather is good!! Will diffidently go back again!!!
google avatar

David V.

Yelp
This was the best crab sandwich I have ever had. The crab was the star of the sandwich. The clam chowder was one of the best. They even cooked some cod for our dog.
google avatar

Jeanne R.

Yelp
The first time I ever had crab cakes & they were delicious!! I'm so glad we stopped in this town & found Tony's Crab Shack. There were four in our party, we all tried different things & everyone was happy with their food. If you are in the area do yourself a favor & stop here.
google avatar

Mike T.

Yelp
Place is fantastic, I had the lobster roll, and it was everything I could have hoped for. The raw oysters were fresh and delicious. And I'd go there just for the chowder, it was also fantastic. There is a reason the line is out there door. Definitely a must stop if you are in Bandon. The shops all being nearby make it a bonus to be able to park, grab a delicious meal before sightseeing and shopping!!! Definitely worth any wait time you may have!!!!
google avatar

Yelp
We are on a road trip down the coast, rolling through Bandon, just after lunchtime. The fish tacos at Tony's crab shack are really great. Never deep fried, rock cod, on a tortilla with cabbage and aïoli sauce. And after we ordered I was squeezing lime, on my hot dish tacos! Cozy vibe!
google avatar

Erica F.

Yelp
This is a small restaurant located by the shore. The cashier lady was friendly and kind. She wiped my chair and I asked her for a napkin to clean it. Everyone recommended the lobster roll, and we ordered one. I am glad that we just ordered one. It costed $26 for a hotdog size lobster roll. It was served with mixed greens and lobster meat. It had lack of flavor. Meat was tender, but I cannot taste how fresh it was. I would rather spend $26 on something else. Two stars for the services.
google avatar

Maria C.

Yelp
The is the only spot for crab cakes. We come every year & always the best. The service is great. It's right on the port. Definitely recommend you give them a try.
google avatar

Debbie H.

Yelp
It's busy - be prepared to wait and inside tables can be hard to come by but that should tell you something, right? I opted for the crabmeat sandwich and a cup of clam chowder. Bother we're delicious. Eating outside, beside the ocean made it even better. Friendly staff (especially noticeable because they were so busy).
google avatar

Barney L.

Yelp
Crab in my salad and my wives sandwich was stringy, chewy and old. Definitely not fresh. Really disappointing. Service was friendly and quick. Nice location.
google avatar

Aja S.

Yelp
Highly recommend the crab sandwich. Switched the cheese to cheddar and omg 10/10! So yummy, fresh and flavorful. Made with love. Also got the half seafood sampler and steamed clams. Best steamed clams, the broth is amazing... not to mention the garlic ciabatta bread yum, especially when you dip it in the steam clams broth. Must stop when in bandon

Jess M.

Yelp
Appearing like a mirage on a rainy night, Tony's crab shack is just what you're looking for if you enjoy the freshest, most delicious sea food at a reasonable price. Seating is limited so come in between the rushes! Have a glass of wine and enjoy this romantically lit sea side gem. 20 stars!

Yelp
While passing through Bandon, on a gorgeous September day, we stopped to have a quick lunch here. It's a funky little joint on the wharf. It is small and definitely a "no frills" kind of place. We loved it. It was not super busy when we were there, and we needed to sit outside so it was perfect for us (especially since it was such a nice day). We had a variety of things (fish tacos, chowder & salad and Bandon's Famous crab sandwich) but the standout meal was the crab sandwich. Good service, nice view and yummy food. We did think it was more expensive than it should have been though.
google avatar

Jordan M.

Yelp
Lots of crab & shrimp in the cocktail. Yummy! Fish tacos were good. Love the vibe and the cool music.
google avatar

Mikayla M.

Yelp
Best fish taco I've ever had!! Crispy fried corn tortilla, moist shredded fish, fresh cabbage, pico, and a squeeze of lime. Get the two aiolis on the side. I will be dreaming about this fish taco. Casual atmosphere and quick service.
google avatar

Paul B.

Yelp
Dungeness Crab was delicious, nice atmosphere, low key and delicious seafood. Ask for Walter....

Yelp
The highlight of my Oregon coast weekend trip. It was recommended by one of my patients and I'm glad I stopped by. Visited on a Saturday at 1pm. The line wasn't too long and it moved quickly. Limited seating indoors but plenty of seating outside. We ordered half a dozen oysters for appetizers. I got the famous crab melt with a side of coleslaw. The crab was sweet and might possibly one of the best things I ever tasted. They stuffed my sandwich with plenty of crab, I definitely got my moneys worth. My boyfriend kept trying to steal another bite of my sandwich. We also ordered the lobster roll with claw chowder. The chowder was hearty with chucks of clam in every bite. All the seafood tasted fresh. I loved the crab melt and will go back for that.

Michele A.

Yelp
No fried food here, just great grilled fish. Service was quick. I was shocked by the $1.50 charge, per item, for take out. There's only a few inside tables available.
google avatar

Janet M.

Yelp
This place pretty busy all day! I have to say the clam chowder was delicious! The tuna melt was great too! The cod fish sandwich was a little bland. However the spot is nice and the staff is very friendly! I would go back but mainly for the chowder! Really enjoyed the location!
google avatar

John C.

Yelp
The crab sandwich is incredible! Melts in your mouth. Expensive at $24 but includes fries and lots of crabmeat.
google avatar

Allison P.

Yelp
My favorite place to stop in Bandon. A MUST!! Always have had the freshest seafood, and a wonderful experience. Thank you Tony's
google avatar

Janice C.

Yelp
Came for the fish tacos because of the reviews. Unfortunately we did not like the tacos at all. The fish was plentiful but shredded, dry and tasteless. Pro. The service was excellent.
google avatar

Gaby B.

Yelp
Absolutely love this spot. Really good seafood. Super casual environment. Your order at the counter and they bring your food out to you. Lots of outdoor seating, a few small table indoors. Nothing better than eating some locally caught seafood near the water on a nice day. Pretty much a must stop whenever we are in the area.

RobertMosura M.

Yelp
Great food and casual dining .... More outside than in .... Lobster roll and Tonys Crab sandwich worth the wait !
google avatar

Richard M.

Yelp
We arrived after opening time. They were not open yet. We asked when they would be open. Employee (or could be owner) said 11 o'clock hopefully. A very bad way to run a business.
google avatar

Erik P.

Yelp
Had the soup and salad , could have used more than a thimble of dressing, but the lettuce in the salad was fresh! The clam chowder wasn't hot and a bit grainy as well.
google avatar

Rita C.

Yelp
Give John "the handsome man" a raise! Great staff, food and drinks! Visiting from Portugal, my people culturally maintains high standards when it comes to seafood, on top of that i come from a family of fishermen/women myself and sadly more often than not most places when visiting abroad end up in disappointment so thank you for Tony's Shack for not being one. I tried a varied selection of items (crab, clam, shrimp, halibut, chowder) and would recomend ALL of it! All of the staff was absolutely phenomenal but John stole the show! Great server, sense of humour, puts a show, made sure we were taken care of and an amazing town guide of top of that! Whoever owns this business, cherish John at all costs! I left with the memories and some merch and hope one day to return again!

Penny P.

Yelp
A casual restaurant by the water. The crab sandwich was delicious. It can get busy so be prepared to wait. It's worth it.

Debbie A.

Yelp
Place is cute- nothing fancy for sure: they had someone walking around w Walter a 13 yr old crab which lives there. My son got the salmon sandwich which was really tasty . I got the Tony's famous crab sandwich. It wasn't great -maybe it was the combo but the crab had no taste . Ordered the clam chowder as well which was good.
google avatar

K M.

Yelp
Outstanding. We got here right when it opened. Service was fantastic. We had the crab cakes and fish and chips. Views were awesome. Cool little gift shop attached also.
google avatar

Ziggy S.

Yelp
I never knew that crab sandwiches were a thing until I went to the Oregon coast. Tony's was amazing! The buttered, perfectly toasted, bread is the capper on one of the best sandwiches I've ever eaten. The service was super-friendly and fast. Beer was nice and cold. They made this southerner feel right at home.
google avatar

Dave G.

Yelp
My fish taco was fantastic! Good sized and super fresh. The accompanying crab cake also succeeded- lots of crab meat and flavor and well sized to accompany the taco for a delicious $16 lunch washed down with a tasty IPA.

Maisie P.

Yelp
Excellent stop for the freshest seafood we found on our coastal drive. John is exceedingly friendly and talkative and made us laugh with his crab jokes. He makes the place special! We got half crabs served with warm butter and lemon and walked away beyond satisfied. Easy going, laid back atmosphere. Order inside and grab a picnic table outside to dine; they bring the food out to you. Local beers were a great pairing and loved being able to wash our hands at their patio sink when finished with our meal. This is the type of place Guy Fuiri would love.
google avatar

Mike L.

Yelp
Service okay but we got there before the rush and the line was out the door. Wait in line to order. Outside seating only after a few tables fill inside. Crab was a large amount, but $30 for a sandwich and a cup of chowder. Sandwich was dry. Supposed to have melted cheese but didn't see any. It's a funky seaside ambiance which I liked!
google avatar

Dave L.

Yelp
It is a shack in the best way. Fresh crab and lobster coming in the back and delicious food coming out the front. Simple and good. Highly recommended.

Kathy B.

Yelp
Husband got takeout for us. Place is always busy. He had a salmon sandwich and I had a bowl of clam chowder. Chowder could have had more clams in my opinion.
google avatar

Arvind M.

Yelp
The crab cakes and fries were too good. I went during lunchtime, the wait was too long. I then went back in the evening, and I can say they had the best crab cakes.
