We had the pork belly and it was delicious! I think they have the best Kimchi I’ve tried so far in Melbourne and the rest of the sides were all really good as well, usually at other places there’s 2-3 side dishes that I don’t like. The service was great as they cook for you and were very attentive and friendly.

The quality of both the service and the food was outstanding, making it one of the best Korean barbecue experiences I’ve had. The staff were incredibly attentive and friendly. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted warmly and seated promptly. The servers were knowledgeable about the menu and offered excellent recommendations, ensuring that we had everything we needed throughout our meal. They were quick to replenish side dishes and grill the meat to perfection at our table. Their attention to detail and commitment to providing a top-notch dining experience truly stood out. The quality of the food was superb. The meat was fresh, well-marinated, and they help you with the BBQ cooking. Each cut was tender and flavorful, making every bite a delight. The variety of side dishes was impressive, with each one adding a unique flavor and texture to the meal. The kimchi was particularly noteworthy, striking a perfect balance between spicy and tangy. Additionally, the dipping sauces provided complemented the meat wonderfully, enhancing the overall taste experience. A welcoming and vibrant atmosphere. The decor was modern yet cozy, creating a comfortable environment for dining. The layout of the tables ensured a good balance between privacy and social interaction, making it ideal for both intimate dinners and group gatherings. Overall exceeded my expectations in every aspect. The combination of excellent service, high-quality food, and a pleasant ambiance makes it a must-visit for anyone looking to enjoy authentic Korean barbecue. I highly recommend Seoul Grill House and look forward to my next visit.

Perfect Korean Bbq, fresh meat, and lots of flavour, I wish there could be more side dishes but no complaints. Most importantly, great hospitality and staff are superstar. They are relly focused on customer services, helpful and very gentle. Loved that.

The service here is top notch. We really appreciated the refill of the sides, as well as the staff doing all the grilling for us, and even switching over the grill plate to a clean one for the next type of meat (beef, pork, chicken). We had the group combo set, which also included a seafood pancake and a stew.

I highly recommend this restaurant! The food is excellent, especially the LA Galbi ribs and pork Galbi. The sweet potato noodles and corn cheese are also delicious. This place truly captures the authentic Korean flavors I was hoping for.

A good restaurant to visit when you want to eat charcoal grilled meat. First, the side dish is art. It’s not a factory taste, it‘s a real handmade taste. Everything harmonises with meat. We ate a beef short ribs, pork belly and pork jowl 👍🏼👍🏼 Everything was perfect. But little bit expensive 🥲 Watch out for your wallet.

Great Korean barbecue spot for small groups! We came on a weeknight at 9pm for a late dinner, and the place was still quite busy. They change the charcoal grill plates quite regularly, which is good. And the quality of the meats were great. I had the CRISPIEST kimchi pancake of my life, seriously would go back again just for that. One small downside was they ran out of rice (was cooking some more) and our rice only arrived at the end of our meal. Understandable though since group after group arrived after us, the staff were flat out. Cash payments get a small discount!

Standard meat, price and atmosphere (slightly dark and narrow). The place can be busy, so reservation is recommended. The reason for the 4 star is that our waitress was fantastic. We came as a big group, ordered many things time and again; and she smiled every single time she took our order. Great service.

Yelp
We were back in Melbourne for the evening so for dinner, I wanted Korean BBQ. There's a ton of them near the Queen Victoria Market so after a quick search, we settled on Toodouri. This street houses three other KBBQ spots (Donwoori, Woo Ga and Hallah). Talk about stiff competition. We dropped in on a Tuesday evening (around 7:15pm). It wasn't too busy so everyone was sitting on the main floor but they do have an upstairs. This place is legit; the BBQ's are charcoal style. The menu had some happy hour specials (10:00pm to 1:00am) and daily specials (Monday to Thursday only). The rest of the menu consists of charcoal BBQ (beef, pork, chicken, seafood), set menus for 2/3/5-6 people, casserole (aka. hot pots), soups, main dishes and drinks. Service is great as they do all the cooking and cutting for you. They also changed our plates halfway and took out the hot charcoals when our last meats were done cooking (so that they didn't overcook). FYI: they give a 5% discount if you pay with cash. Otherwise, they charge you for using card (1.5%) and it has to be over $30.00 AUD. - Purple rice ($2.00 AUD) - oddly, you don't get any rice with the set menus so we had to order one bowl to share. - Banchan - you get three types (kimchi, bean sprouts and pasta salad) and it's unlimited refills. The kimchi actually impressed me as I'm not usually the biggest fan. Bean sprouts were good, pasta salad was boring. - Beef set B ($47.50 AUD) - beef bulgolgi, LA beef ribs and kimchi soup. They bring out a basket of lettuce wraps (the cheap kind) and pickled onions. The kimchi soup was fantastic! Great broth; again, tasty kimchi and there was a mix of tofu, enoki mushrooms, jalapeños and green onions. Bulgogi was nicely marinated and LA beef ribs were thin, satisfying bites. - Pork belly ($13.90 AUD) - this is their Tuesday charcoal BBQ special. You get three pieces of pork belly. They weren't too fatty and got crisped up on the BBQ. Another solid Korean spot. Reasonable prices, great service and tasty food.

Yelp
Quirky and eclectic, but the food is tasty and reasonably proportioned for the price. Side dishes quite generous with up to three refills each. Recommended.

Yelp
You know how you sometimes have those moments that make you think, retrospectively, was that meal actually great or were the circumstances just ideal? My Toodouri experience was just that but, I am more than willing to give them the benefit of the doubt. I had the bulgogi stew - it was steaming hot, full of flavour. And the good good non- cabbage or potato (one too many pierogi in Poland experiences can scar a person...) vegetable dumplings. Both were pretty damn tasty. Oh, and not to mention the lovely service. From the waitress drying off our shoes, or even letting us into their restaurant looking like drowned rats and ending the night by saying that was the cutest and best tip that they'd ever been left (I'd use a highlighter). Wins all round.

Yelp
One of the best K BBQ i ever have!!!! Taste of the meats is great. Texture achieved is great. Dont let the unassuming store ambience deceive you. Helpful staff who can help make a meal a truly delicious and enjoyable one. A hidden gem in Melbourne
