Toowoomba Central Plaza Apartment Hotel

Disappointing and definitely not worth the money spent. The photo's of the property do not match reality. As others have mentioned, the carpets are disgusting and heavily stained. The bathrooms have calcium and other buildup around the shower and the overall aesthetic and property appearance is tired, worn and dirty. We booked a 3 bedroom apartment with 3 x Queen beds. We don't have any queen beds in our apartment. We have 1 x double bed in the master bedroom and the other 2 x rooms have 2 x single beds pushed together to make a 'king bed'. We have booked the accommodation for a week and have only stayed 1 night but I am regretting this decision. This is the 3rd hotel on our trip this holidays, it's the most expensive but also most disappointing and unfortunatelyit'swhere we'll spend our Christmas. I wish I had of read the google reviews before we booked as the agoda reviews did not indicate any issues like what we've found. The most disappointing thing is that many people have left similar reviews and the property owner/manager responds with an apology but has failed to make any improvements or spend money on much needed repairs and maintenance. The only upside is that the lady at the counter when we checked in was lovely and very helpful. We won't be staying again and I don't recommend it for any other family's unless heavily discounted. Edit: I forgot to add that the milk that was provided was best before the day we arrived and the fridge leaks water. The location is great, the place just needs some R&M and TLC.

I had a magnificent stay at Toowoomba Central Plaza Apartments Hotel as it served as my base during a Fun Run in Toowoomba. This hotel offers Value for money.|My room was spacious and clean with comfortable beds that allowed me to drift off to Dreamland. Despite it's central location, the Noise Level is minimal which makes for a comfortable stay.|The central location can't be beat with nearby Restaurants, Cafes, take aways and Grand Central Shopping Centre all close by.|I felt safe walking around Toowoomba during at night (as a Male). With a lively restaurant and bar/ pub scene, there are a lot of people around.|Walking is very easy, very flat with no hills and traffic control lights and crossways makes it a pleasure to walk around this fin town.|Coffee and Tea facilities are served in the hotel room, which is a great service offered by the hotel. Plenty of restaurants with a lot of various cuisines are just outside the Hotel Doors. |There are also recreational facilities as well including an in house gym, swimming pool and barbecue area. |The nearby Empire Theatre is behind the hotel and just a short 5 minute walk through the carpark.

WORST HOTEL EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE! We were made to pay a large extra fee to obtain a room with a kitchen even though that was plainly described and shown in photos on our pre-paid booking. But the worst part was that, having asked for management to review the evidence and consider a refund, when we later met the manager, instead of advocating and working to resolve the obvious mistake in a customer-friendly way, she was argumentative, and tried to blame us for not realising the listing was misleading. Angered at the suggestion she might receive a bad review, she threatened legal action and followed us onto the street shouting that she would lock us out of the hotel. Later, she attempted to shift the blame for the misleading information onto the Trip.com website, refused any sort of refund for the extra charges, and made false accusations about our behaviour. Just wow! Needless to say, the whole experience ruined our stay and our holiday.

Great apartments in central Toowoomba. Nice big rooms with everything you need. Stayed for work. Walkable to fantastic bars and restaurants. Will definitely stay again.

Way over priced for what you get. $210 for the night was $209 too much. Whilst location is great the rooms in this establishment are appalling. First of all on checking in the room smelled musty and dusty. The carpet was lifting and rippling everywhere, pubic hair on the blanket when we pulled it out of the wardrobe. 🤮 The ceiling fan/light did not work. The exhaust fan in the bathroom didn’t work. When we opened the window to let in some fresh air we were greeted with the terrace from the next room ( so no privacy, they could look directly into our room and bathroom whilst we were trying to get the shower steam out of the room). The sink mixer in the kitchenette had a continuous leak so when we checked in there was water all over the counter and dripping onto the floor so we had to put a towel around it. The lift buttons don’t work properly you have to tap them 4 or 5 times to work along with the salami subway that had been dropped in the smaller lift the afternoon before and was still there the next morning. By the time we got organised and got back to the room after running our errands reception was already locked up and closed so we wouldn’t contact anyone about it.|We pulled a saucepan out of the cupboard to boil some water as well and it was dirty and had burnt food still in it. We felt that we had to wash everything in the kitchen before using it just to be safe.|Would highly recommend staying next door at Burke and Wills, They are worlds apart from this “Hotel”. Central apartments are 2 star at best .

Pretty disappointed with the overall cleanliness of the room, very aged, carpet had stains, bathroom had lots of chipped, dirty tiles, shower head leaked, shower was dirty, definitely not worth the money… Staff were lovely and very helpful, very disappointing rooms, poor value …

🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Saved Our Birthday Weekend – Incredible Staff & Stunning Rooms! After a horrible experience at another Toowoomba hotel — where we were abused and refused at check-in on my birthday — we were left stranded and upset, unsure where to go. In desperation, we called Toowoomba Central Apartments as a last resort, even though we knew they were nearly fully booked. To our absolute relief, the staff went above and beyond to rearrange things and make a room available for not just that night, but also the following night. Their kindness, understanding, and genuine care turned what could’ve been a ruined birthday into something special. The rooms were spotless, beautifully designed, and incredibly comfortable. Every interaction with the staff was warm and professional. I’m so grateful for the compassion they showed us during such a stressful moment. We’ll definitely be staying here again and recommending them to anyone looking for accommodation in Toowoomba. Thank you again for everything!

The cleanliness of the hotel was appalling. There was cigarette ash on the side tables, the floor wasn’t vacuumed and the bathroom wasn’t cleaned properly. I rang reception to get someone to come to clean, they told me that no one was available.

Who'd have thunk the mountains of western south-eastern Queensland would produce a hotel with free WiFi and smart TVs! The rooms are lovely- big spacious balcony in the balcony rooms and opening windows in the studio (not that you'd need them, it is FREEZING up here! *it is Winter) Do not attempt to get anything larger than s smart car into the parking lot. The design of the parking area is so flawed it would be laughable if my neck wasn't so sore from parking my van in the "big car" space they provided. This isn't sour grapes talking, I promise: in the 10 minutes it took me to do a 16-point turn to get in my spot I saw a regular hatchback come within centermeters of scraping it's sides just trying to get around the sharp curve to the alloted underground parking ha. Anyway, the staff are great and my studio is nicely tiled & spotlessly clean. They don't have after hours reception or spare blankets so make sure you have everything you need before they shut up shop! I'd stay here again.
