Top City Hostel & Suites

very well located to visit all cool places in the town. very nice view from the roof top. breakfast ordered in room - nice to have it at the balcony (suites only). good cleanliness. bathroom in the room is very small and there is no space for clothes - very lean. all in all it was a very relaxing stay in a great atmosphere. we very much appreciated the afternoons (sundowner) at the roof top terrace and especially when the bar is open.

Location is great if you want to be in the middle of the main town area/touristy area. About a 20 min walk to the marina so perfect if you’re doing a lot of scuba diving like me. The rooms themselves were clean and well kept. We were only given a sheet so bring a warm sweater or something to sleep under. Didn’t get the best sleep there not gonna lie. Staff did a good job at supplying events. I didn’t like the fact that they closed the kitchen at night until 8:30 am. It meant that I could not make my own breakfast when I left at 7:30 am every morning for diving. But if you’re up past 8:30 am then the free breakfast is great. Probably would give 5 stars if the rooms had curtains and real blankets lol.

Best hostel I have stayed at within my 3 months of solo-traveling!! Safe, social, clean, and central. I stayed in a 8 person shared dorm and it was spacious, with large under-bed storage. Lots of hooks for hanging things, each bed had a light and outlet as well. No curtains but clean and comfy beds. The rooftop was the best part. Every morning they have a sunrise event with free tea and blankets available. I went every morning and it was beautiful overlooking the beach! The pool is open everyday, and the bar from 4pm-8pm with happy hour 4-6pm. Upon arrival you get a free beer/cider coupon to redeem, just always bring €1 because you have to give a deposit for the cup. Cash only up there as well. Laundry was good, spacious washer and dryer. €5 for wash, soap included, 2€ for dry. They had events almost every day, I went on the free pub crawl and the Algar-Seco/Benagil Cave tour. Would recommend both! Great guides, great way to meet people. Ended up extending my stay twice cause I loved it so much! Thank you so much for the great accommodation. (Stayed October 2025)

I really loved my stay at the hostel. The staff was great, the rooms were spacious and clean, the bathrooms were also super clean and my highlight is the roof top, you could see all of old town from above and there was also a pool! |All in all, it was a great experience!!!

Great place to stay. Clean friendly perfectly situated. All the fercilities where clean and very well presented. Great vibe and really welcoming. Also breakfast I considered a bonus as the price is such good value. Cheers guys!

Amazing. Staff is nice, the beaches are near by, the breakfast is free and great. The view is stunning, sunrises over there are beautiful.|The pool is also good. The bed are comfortables, and we even have a balcony ! What else could we ask ?

Stayed here as a female solo traveller and had the best few nights! The staff are so nice and the free breakfast was delicious. The location is great and there's so much do in the surrounding areas. Definitely ask the front desk for food recommendations, I had so much fun following their recs. My room had a terrace and the view was incredible, especially during sunrise. The roof top pool is insane and the common areas are great. I cannot rave about this place enough! It truly made my time in lagos.

A big hostel with lots of people but good organized, has good breakfast, good activites like bbq and pubcrawl, free welcome drink, cheap laundry service, kind staff. Yet beds are not comfortable, 1 euro deposit for plastic cups-even for the free welcome drink, toilets are not always so clean(i cant blame the hostel though, there are lots of people unaware of cleaning their own things). Anyways, 8.5/10.
