Stayed here as a female solo traveller and had the best few nights! The staff are so nice and the free breakfast was delicious. The location is great and there's so much do in the surrounding areas. Definitely ask the front desk for food recommendations, I had so much fun following their recs. My room had a terrace and the view was incredible, especially during sunrise. The roof top pool is insane and the common areas are great. I cannot rave about this place enough! It truly made my time in lagos.

Super friendly staff, plenty of activities scheduled (the pub crawl was very popular with like 30 people going!), very clean rooms. Great location by the beach and lots of gift shops, restaurants and small stores. Feels safe to walk around. Excellent rooftop pool with lots of seating. My only complaint is that the wifi in the rooms is not great, but it works fine in common areas. I would definitely stay here again!

Hostel 10/10. Modern, clean and organised. Better than what I was expecting to be honest. I got the room just for myself so can't tell what's the shared rooms but I have no doubts they are nice and comfortable to. Location is perfect, 3 min from bus stop and in the middle of all the nice places in Lagos. Staffs are all 10/10 too, super helpful and friendly. Unfortunately the weather was not good to enjoy the pool but it is great to have a roof that you can see all the city and sea. No complaints here, would definitely come back!!

Incredible Hostel, one of the best I have stayed in. The Staff here are amazing, they will help you in every way possible. I highly recommend joining the WhatsApp group to stay in the know about what the hostel has going on, as well as they give you recommendations on what you can do whilst you are there. Extremely clean place, they have a lovely roof terrace which includes a pool, bar and seating area. Nice place to catch an end of the day tan. Tiago runs the tour of the Bengal Caves, he is very knowledgeable and loves to talk about football if you’re into it! Lovely chap. Highly recommend joining the trip. It is good value for the €40. Breakfast in the morning is a nice touch and gets you ready for the day. There is a great food spot around the corner called “The Garden”, I advise you book the day before as it gets busy. The food and drink options are great there and it is very affordable!

I had the best time staying at Topcity! The rooms were really clean, good space for storage, the pool upstairs was great and I could easily spend all day there and the other social areas. The staff were lovely and the BBQs and pub crawls organised were so much fun. Couldn’t recommend this place any more.

Amazing experience as a female solo traveler! Felt super safe and the whole vibe of the hostel was just amazing overall. Friendly staff, clean common areas and rooms. Only disadvantage: didn’t have drying racks to let swimming suits and towels dry.

Good location, good attention at front desk, but the sheets provided were not the best, so skinny, with the AC turned on I was cold all night. I didn’t like the fact that doesn’t have curtains, zero privacy but despite that one guy took a girl to have s*x during the whole night… I know this is not hostel’s fault but it was very uncomfortable to go out of the bed and see the two of them there in the same bed, at least the curtains gives a little privacy.

All good, storage boxes where hard to access under the beds. No curtains to privatise your bed. Bad coffee. No complains otherwise, sweet staff and nice people all around. Good breakfast and clean infrastructure
