TOP Hotel Hochgurgl

We had a wonderful four-night stay at Top Hotel Hochgurgl. The service was warm and attentive, with our rooms cleaned frequently and well-maintained. The hotel's location was fantastic, with direct access to the slopes, making our skiing experience very convenient. However, the dining experience did not live up to the hotel's high standards and 2 Michelin stars…While the presentation of the food was appealing, the flavors were bland, and some dishes were served cold. Overall, we enjoyed our stay but expected more from the culinary offerings.

We had 2 nights at Top hotel. Very nice hotel with a very high level of service. The reason the rooms rate less well is that we were accommodated in a room (407) which was a very small room - and far from what you can expect from a hotel in this class and price. We got a much better room for 2 nights which partly meant that we came away with a good experience. But room 407 does not belong to the 5 stars of this hotel. The food was super and delicious, the service was top notch. Can be recommended, but you should make sure you don't get their worst rooms

Fourth visit to Top Hotel. I always worry that the next visit won’t be as good but I shouldn’t have worried. We come for the location, service, food and facilities. |In terms of location , I doubt anything can beat it, literally 10 metres from the ski lift with ski hire on site , perfect. In terms of Service the staff are great, very professional and attentive. They make time to chat even if they are busy . Many of them have been there a long time and some are new or on hotel school training but all are excellent and helpful. The food was great , the breakfast buffet as always very extensive and fresh. The lunch selection is lovely and the views from the terrace when the sun is shining is wonderful. Dinner menu was good I would say but the fondue is always top notch and I recommend it highly, always one of the key reasons we come here too. The wine list is extensive with good selection from reasonable price to of course very high end. The facilities are lovely, the pool (indoor and outdoor) , saunas and spa excellent. Our junior suite was ample size for my daughter and I. We had a lovely stay and everything worked seamlessly, from the housekeeping which was really excellent to the transfers to the airport all perfectly arranged and executed. Highly recommend and we would be very happy to return.

The location of and service provided at this hotel allows for an incredibly relaxing and enjoyable holiday. Their evening food offering is arguably the best food I have been presented with on a half board plan anywhere in the World. Special mention must go to their pastry chef, some incredible desserts.

From the moment you ring the bell for the parking lot, until the moment you leave again, everyone does everything they can to make it a wonderful holiday.||I realize that this is not easy, but you do it anyway. A big thumbs up to everyone on the hotel team.||I'm not going to single anyone out specifically, but everyone is doing their very best.||||See you next year

Excellent facilities and friendly staff. Really convenient position on the slope right next to the chairlift too. The staff at the ski shop were also incredibly helpful and were quick to order in equipment that I needed for the next day. Would certainly recommend.

Having stayed in Hochgurgl at different hotels, I was delighted with everything at Top Hotel.|Fabulous service from all the friendly staff, including the boss, who checked on us daily, a nice touch.|We had a room on the front looking up the valley, delightful.|Amazing dining experience and lovely food.|Great location next to the chair lift, just a 20m level walk from the ski room entrance. |Looking forward to returning.

Top hotel at the best location in Otztal; two lifts in front of hotel. Ski-in, Ski-out. EV charge pole on the parking. Best Ski slopes. NO apres-ski and NO bus to bring you home
