Food wasn't good. Service wasn't good. I ordered a burger with a gluten free roll. Worse roll I've ever had. It was crumbly and dry. The chips weren't fries. It was served with crisps that tasted like oil. Service was slow and our waiter didnt smile and wasnt exactly friendly. When we told them this when we left, noone really seemed to care. I would not recommend eating here. To add to it, when you sit at the table with the stunning view of the falls, there was a great big gay pride flag which just adds to the bad restaurant experience. 100% have the american flag at a beautiful american attraction.

The manager Craig and team is amazing. We had our wedding brunch this morning. Food was amazing and the staff is so nice. Definitely recommend this place.

Google
The view is perfect. The stuff is nice. But food is terrible. It was the worse burger that I’ve ever eaten. The bread was cold. Meat was without salt and pepper. And this cheese looks disgusting.

Barbara Delfa

Google
Beautiful place to eat. Staff were very nice. Service was great. Food was awesome.

Google
First and foremost, the best thing about this place is the view of the Falls while you eat. It is breathtaking and alone is worth the trip. Food is a little over "average" prices for a dine-in burger, and some of the more eloquent dishes equally so. However, the food is pretty decent. Im rating the food as a 4 just due to the limited menu, where I feel like adding a few more options would push it to 5. All of my group were pleased with the dishes we received, and would absolutely dine here again. For kids - similar to the adult menu, there are limited options.

We were seated at a table and waited for 15 minutes. No server. So, we got up and went to the bar. We just wanted a drink to cool off. Sat at the bar, no bartender. Then a young lady came over (who wasn't the bartender) and helped us. Other than that, the view and the atmosphere were great. There is a small gift shop on the lower lever.

Google
The outdoor sitting area was dirty, the food was simply awful. Chicken tenders and chicken club sandwich came out within 5 mins of ordering. It definitely sat under a heat lamp for hours. The tenders were room temperature and old. $20 chicken tenders! The chicken in the sandwich was unseasoned and chewy. Chips were stale. The drinks come out in plastic cups. Pack your own food or literally go to McDonald’s. Definitely a tourist trap!

Google
Super friendly staff and decent food. I got the fish and chips.

Yelp
The place was not crowded but we still had a 20 minute wait for the table. Waiter was awesome though. Filed was okay. Ordered the meat, cheese, & pickle charcuterie board. It was good, just very overpriced. Tourist pricing. Ordered the Classic Double and BLT Chicken Wrap. It was just flavorless. Sat us by the windows so we could see the falls, but is was 90+ degrees outside and you could feel The heat through the glass. Would've been better sitting outside where there was a breeze.

Megan B.

Yelp
Great restaurant, and reasonably priced for the location. Large portions - my sister and I shared an appetizer and sandwich, and each got a fun drink. There was no wait to be seated, and while a little chilly we chose to sit outside where we could hear the soft roar of the falls. Food was excellent! The large pretzel was especially delicious, and I recommend the gin drink... I can't recall the name but it was kind of like a mojito with gin. Not too sweet and very refreshing.

Liz D.

Yelp
Absolutely lovely full service restaurant with the BEST views you'll ever had! Plus it's air conditioned so a lovely respite from outside. It's a bit pricy for sure, but the food was delicious and the service was delightful! We both got the patty melts and we could easily have shared one as a meal. I loved the sauce and recommend asking for extra to dip. Chips are crunchy. We saw other people get the appetizer pretzel and it is HUGE!! Definitely for sharing. So glad we got to enjoy this as our last stop in Niagara.

Vi T.

Yelp
It's the only nice, sit-down food venue in Niagara Falls Park. They have quite a few dishes that include locally sourced ingredients. One of them that I recommend is the patty melt $19. It was perfectly made with melted and creamy, smoked gouda and grilled/caramelized onions atop grilled beef patties on toasted/buttery bread, and it comes with a side of fries or potato chips. This paired perfectly with a glass of prosecco $11, which I savored while looking at the fantastic view of the Falls from their outdoor patio seating of the restaurant. I tried the loganberry creme brulee for dessert $10, and that did not disappoint either! Several people next to me ordered the fish and chips, which both looked, and they said tasted good with a nice crispiness and lightness to the batter. Prices aren't that much higher for entrees compared to their other more casual grab and go eateries at Niagara Falls. Worth it for the view, sit down service, quality offerings, and overall value.

Yelp
Best part about this restaurant is the views of Niagara Falls. You are looking towards the Canadian side but it's still pretty awesome. If you always thought it'd be fun to be at the top of the waterfall this is the place. The food was good. The staff was great. it was hot outside and it was nice to sit inside and enjoy the view and replenish our bodies.

Vanessa M.

Yelp
Service was great. We came after the lunch rush so it wasn't busy. Food was hot and plentiful (consider splitting an entree). Probably one of the best views of the falls from this side of the border. Not the best food I've ever eaten but for a tourist-trap-type restaurant, it was pretty good.

Jeremy S.

Yelp
Sure, it's a tourist trap that's disorganized, a little dirty, poorly marked, and generally unimpressive. The staff seems to turn over quickly, so if you're looking for experienced pros, well, keep looking. But the menu has enough options to satisfy a mostly veg party, the food is adequate and filling, there are some craft beers, and it's really no more overpriced than the highly taxed and generally overpriced food in NY State anyway. And you really do get a spectacular view of the Falls out the window, which is really the only reason that you agreed to eat here in the first place, now isn't it? Keep your expectations appropriate (like, what in the world incentive would anyone have to make a place good that has this many built-in clients and so little need for repeat business?) and realize that you're paying for the view, and you'll be at worst mildly disappointed.

Scott A.

Yelp
This operation is always a must for me as I do not like the touristy spots closer to the falls. If I pay top dollar for food I want good wait staff, a clean operation and a great view, and this location has all three. Pictures i posted with the review are off the beaten path and recommended to completely take in the sights and sounds of the falls. As for what we ordered we started with the House-made Bavarian Pretzel with Düsseldorf mustard and New York Beer Cheese. This easily feed my family of 5 for an appetizer and was cooked perfectly and not overdone. We also ordered up the carved turkey sandwich, hand-breaded chicken tenders, the classic burger, and Niagara fish and chips. The carved turkey sandwich was of substantial size with provolone cheese, apple slaw on Focaccia bread. It was nicely presented and delicious. The hand breaded tenders were the largest I've seen and took up a large majority of the plate. They were nicely cooked all the way through and the house chips were excellent and we dipped them into the leftover pretzel toppings. The classic burger was a double stack with a nice cheddar cheese, but we asked for no onions and they arrived anyway, so my daughter removed them and gave them to me. She was unable to finish the burger as well, which is why I didn't order because I knew I'd be finishing a sandwich or burger cut in half. To finish up, the Niagara fish and chips was insanely big covering the plate with loads of fresh fries. The tartar sauce was on point as well as the continual refill of water and other beverages. The plates were cleaned up accordingly and the entire meal was enjoyed by all, leaving only a little space for the Loganberry Crème Brûlée which was quite delicious. I highly recommend the Top of the Falls for its ambiance, menu, service and scenic views. The grounds are well kept and the gift shop below should have something for everyone.

Yelp
Our second day at Niagara took us to view the Fall from the park. Top of the Falls was really above power for a park restaurant. Delightful wait staff. So helpful. Even when an adult spilled their drink! (Ha). Everyone ate something different. DIL had a salad, she said it was crisp and the dressing was tasty. I had the double stack patty melt. Excellent. Cheese was melty and generous meat patty. One child ate the chicken fingers . We were taken aback. They looked basically over cooked and not appetizing at all. The portions were huge. However, once we started to cut them up they were quite juicy. We never did figure out if it were the breading or the oil that made them so dark. The ambience is upscale and modern. I was surprised it was so classy for a Government establishment. Glad we tried it. Thank you USA for the experience.

Natasha R.

Yelp
Really beautiful view! I will say I don't think there is a restaurant with a better view of the falls. However, the food is pretty average- I ordered a chopped salad that was actually not chopped at all. However, the salad itself wasn't bad. The service was fast though. And it's a great place with AC away from the heat! All in all would go back and order differently.

Erin M.

Yelp
The views were amazing...but that's where it stops. Being the only restaurant on the NY side over looking the falls, we were excited to indulge. Sadly, we were seated and ignored for 25 minutes. Not even a hello, or I'll be right with you from the server. In fact, we don't even know who the sever was! There was plenty of staff, in fact 4 servers were just standing around the bar the entire time not doing anything. A few of the others came around and asked the other table if they were OK, but always skipped us? Not even a glass of water!!!!! Frustrated and upset, we finally got up and left, still no one noticed. Shame on them.

Ashley D.

Yelp
When your on a road trip and you make a pit stop with kiddos it makes a world of difference when the service is top notch! Thanks for being awesome Gabriel!!! Food was great and WOW... What a view!

Corey G.

Yelp
Not sure why people are giving such bad reviews to this place. We had lunch here today and the service and food were pretty good. Try the pretzel it's bigger than your head! Our server was Madison and she took great care of us. Checked on us throughout our meal. Don't listen to the haters give them a try.

Thomas S.

Yelp
After an afternoon at the falls we were starved and ended up stopping in after a short hike to goat island for Cave of the Winds. It is located on the second level with the ground level being a gift shop. Once up top, wait to be seated (several persons/groups attempted to seat themselves and were approached by staff). Food ordered came out very quickly. The chicken in the Terrapin Chicken Salad was rubbery and just not a pleasant texture. The Beef on Weck was bland. The Niagara fish and chips was good, no complaints there. This spot could very well host a very elegant dinner as it is in a picturesque location of the falls and easily viewed while dining, but unfortunately, it's just pre made amusement park level food.

Rodica T.

Yelp
The best fish and chips were only surpassed by the best view of the falls! The restaurant was clean and cozy, food was fresh and quick... Our party of 8 had a wonderful experience here!

Janet K.

Yelp
Yesterday I took my son to the falls. He is a 23 year old man with autism. After we had ridden the maid of the mist, and worn ourselves out walking we took the trolley to the restaurant. Normally, I have a hard time finding anything to eat because I can't eat gluten. we took the trolley to the restaurant. I had a turkey sandwich with provolone on a gluten-free roll. It was so fantastic! It was soft and fluffy, and it felt like real bread. It felt so much like real bread that I was afraid. I was actually concerned that it might not be gluten-free, but my body tells me that it was. My son had a fabulous hamburger. We enjoyed sitting in a booth watching the Falls. The air-conditioning was great. The service was fantastic. It was a Great capper to a great day.

Chris B.

Yelp
Definitely better than reviews would indicate. We stopped for lunch on Memorial Day weekend, we were seated quickly outside with a great view. Salena was attentive and pleasant. Food was amazing and served quickly: giant soft pretzels for the kids, my wife and I split a BLT chicken wrap (amazing!) and my older son loved his fried chicken club. Definitely a great spot.

Robert J.

Yelp
The waitress was nice and attentive and allowed us to reconfigure the tables because we were a large group. Food was good maybe not amazing, but satisfactory. Beautiful views of mist and Canada! The fish and chips are a double serving

Brandon L.

Yelp
I really liked the fries here, I was devastated when I realized they weren't open any other day I was there.

Manuel G.

Yelp
Did not have to wait , food service was very good . Drinks were great . Restaurant was just remodeled and looks great.

Evelyn C.

Yelp
Went to Niagara Falls (NY) for a day while out on a weekend getaway. We had just finished the Cave of the Winds and decided to give Top of the Falls a try since the wait wasn't supposed to be too long. It was a short minute walk and it's on the second floor, first floor is a gift shop. The view is beautiful, great ambiance, great food, great drinks, great service.

Angel C.

Yelp
Walked in and got seated and told our server would be right with us. Waited for over ten minutes while seven employees stood around talking and laughing obnoxiously loud. Never had our drinks taken or had anyone else speak to us. Eventually just left without having tried anything.

MaryBeth N.

Yelp
This is quite a cool place if your visiting Niagara Falls. You can see the falls right when your eating. The food is decent and good for a quick lunch. The service was fast and very attentive. There was definitely a lot of waiters for how slow the restaurant was. It is a little expensive but that is expected with where the restaurant is.

Michelle M.

Yelp
The food portions were large and the service was great considering we were in a rush to meet the timed attraction for Cave of the Winds. The view was nice too.

David L.

Yelp
We were visiting Niagara Falls when the clouds looked dark, and we sensed a downpour coming so we stopped at Top of the Falls to stay dry and fill our stomachs while there. I was expecting an overpriced tourist trap with cafeteria food (aka Disney), but we were pleasantly surprised. Our friendly server recommended the fish and chips, beef on weck, and chicken rice bowl, so that is what we got. The fish and chips (and tartar) was really good. Given the location, view, portion size and quality, $19.99 was very reasonable. The beef on weck was also good, though the bun too salty for my taste, and the horseradish was too mild ($16.49). Good fries though. The chicken bowl ($17.99), while one of the healthier options, was disappointing as it seemed to lack freshness. The chicken was tender, but the guacamole seemed scooped out of a package rather than hand mashed. Not a bad option, but don't expect big bold fresh flavors despite the Mexican theme of the bold. Waters and coffee were routinely refilled, and we didn't feel rushed. The view is certainly special, so if you're hungry and want to rest your legs, order yourself some fried fish and enjoy the falls!

HsiaoCheng W.

Yelp
Bad food. Good staff. The views are ok but kinda far from the falls still. We had outside seating. The fried fish was the best. Huge. The steak sandwich was horrible as was the weck with horseradish. Dry and small

E C.

Yelp
I had the fish & chips and it was amazing! Fish was perfectly crispy on the outside and wonderfully buttery on the inside. Server was also top notch! Would recommend! :)

Jess R.

Yelp
So it gets one star for a friendly host. The place wasn't busy. We were seated right away outside and could see the Falls. The food was the problem. We ordered drinks, just 2 pops. After we received the drinks, we ordered our food. Time wise, it took longer to get the pops. I had the chicken tenders and my boyfriend had a bacon burger. I asked for fries instead of house chips. They told me fries only with fish. I thought it was weird until the food was brought to us 5 mins later. They obviously keep it under hot lamps and serve as ordered. My boyfriend said his burger was warm, but bacon was gross. My tenders were warm. Neither order was hot/warm like when you get it fresh. We thought the food be better due to it being in the park and wanting people to eat there. Pack a picnic instead of eating here.

Todd W.

Yelp
Came here with a family of five. The food was good. The service was good. The view was great. Reasonably priced for the location just look out for the wasps on the patio.

DE S.

Yelp
Food is terrible for the location . Great location but menu and food is terrible. All the food we order was cold and not cooked .

Connie P.

Yelp
We did a walk around the falls today and needed to eat at our half way point. Many times we always walked past this place, or walked and no one was there and prices seemed a bit high. Its been a few years so we decided to take a chance The inside interior has been updated since we stopped by and so has the menu. The online menu is old and prices are less than what is stated. Prices are a little high, but you are in a tourist area and you are sit right near the falls. You get to watch all the people and the falls/mist. Service was exceptional, our waitress answered all our questions and was very attentive to what we needed. My husband had the Summer Soup which tasted like homemade. Very delicious! My hamburger and side salad was excellent. The side salad also included fruit and a homemade dressing with peach flavoring. Everything was good and our experience was unforgettable. We will be back!

Pete F.

Yelp
The reviews for this place were pretty bad but we were desperate to eat. I'm happy to say that the food and service were both surprisingly good. Portions were very large, the pretzel looked like a steering wheel. Food was tasty.

Lottie Y.

Yelp
Great view and great seating area with not so good food. The burger was super dry and tasteless. The chicken nuggets were overcooked.

Chris B.

Yelp
we walked 30 minutes and when we got there they told us they decided to close early! what a waste and who just closes when they want. make sure to call ahead to see what hours they are making up for the day.

Evelyn B.

Yelp
This was top on my list to eat when I get to Niagara. The place does not disappoint! The view was jaw dropping. No bad view of the falls here. We got seated right away and order came in so fast after we made orders on our phone. I had a chicken caesar lettuce wrap. It was the best I ever had and it had more chicken than lettuce compared to other places with more lettuce than chicken. My husband ordered the beef on weck and it was huge! For a place with that view and where it was the only one closest to the falls they could have priced everything outrageously but the price was reasonable. I'll definitely come back when in town and highly recommend this place. A must go and must eat

Amanda N.

Yelp
Well this place pretty much deserves its 2 1/2 stars on Yelp - but if you go in with those expectations, it can be a great place to eat. Our crew (including 5 picky kids ages 9-15) all had something they could order. The server was super sweet (even though he couldn't sell my husband a beer cause he forgot his ID in the car lol) and the place was conveniently located after we'd been hiking around and everyone was hangry. Pretzel app was awesome and it's huge! The burgers were sub-par (think of a burger you'd get at a baseball game) chips were decent though. Turkey wrap was "mostly lettuce" according to my 11 year old daughter. But the real star of the show was the cauliflower "steak." Make no mistake, this is not meat (as the server kindly made sure I understood) - but it was delicious! And the accompanying Brussel sprouts were also great. Overall, such a helpful stop for my fam with a decent experience eating by the falls. I give the food two stars - but the server + cauliflower pushes it to a 3.

Carol N.

Yelp
Food was excellent and the view was great. However, it was our server, Cheryl, that made the experience superior. Such a charming lady with great suggestions. Was attentive yet not overwhelming. Took care of our every need. Probably the best server I have ever had, and I have eaten out plenty of times in my 67 years. I hope the management realizes the gem they have working for them! Thank you

Ted H.

Yelp
The only restaurant that overlooks the falls! We didn't get a chance to eat here but the view alone has to be worth 5 stars. The menu seems to offer some good choices of local NY cuisine and the local craft beer choices look enticing.

Paul D.

Yelp
I can say nothing but great things about this place. With the falls just a few hundred yards away, I would think that the view would be great, but the food and service would be just so so. Boy was I wrong! The food was great, both in portions and quality. I have to rave about Cheryl, our waitress, she made us feel as if we you and honored guest and her best friend visiting her home. I have several favorite places, the dining room at the Ahwahnee hotel in Yosemite, the del Coronado hotel in San Diego and now the Top of the falls at Niagara falls. If you trust me and go there, ask for Cheryl and give her my best. You will not be disappointed!!!

LisaMarie H.

Yelp
Not only does the view make this place but the food is amazing. Our server,, was very informative about the menu and had excellent recommendations. As for drinks, she said the Hurricane and Iced Tea were her favs so we ordered one of each of course and then another round. I was really in the mood for The Buffalo Mac N Cheese. And she talked my hubby into the fish n chips. The Mac N Cheese was so saucy and so much flavor I didn't even need salt, which I do on almost everything. I did however use pepper, big grinder chunks, just my preference. Now, for the Fish N Chips. IDK where they got this fish from but it was huge. Usually one gets a few pieces (strips) of fish. No, this was one solid piece and took up almost the whole plate. Our biggest problem was trying to figure out how to eat it. We just started ripping it apart and dunking in tarter sauce and malt vinegar, sooooo good. Their tarter sauce was so creamy and fresh tasting not overwhelming with pickle crap. I cannot say enough good things about this place. In my opinion the best time to go is after sunset when the changing colored lights are shined on the falls and before 10 when the fireworks start. This way you can see the lights on the falls while you eat and then walk out to the viewing point for the fireworks after you eat. Even if you only do this it will be worth the trip.

Rita P.

Yelp
Are they for real? A ridiculous policy for alcoholic beverages that no matter your age you need to show ID. I did not have mine with me and despite being close to 70 years of age I was reprimanded in front of everyone for taking a sip of my spouse's drink. Totally sours me for recommending this place to anyone despite the food being average.

Mari M.

Yelp
My fiancé and I wanted the experience of eating here. The view was nice. We opted for dessert and wine. Both were delicious. The service was amazing! We were very happy with our service. however, I am only rating this 4 stars because as we looked around there were a lot of tables with uneaten food. One table where a family sat had plates of uneaten food. I am not sure if it were the taste or if something else happened. Overall, we would return for dessert and wine again. To add, it is a bit pricey! We paid $15 for a glass of wine.

Vin N.

Yelp
Wife and I had lunch here during our visit to Niagara Falls. This place had a terrific view, but unfortunately the food was very subpar and the prices were not worth the views alone. I got a 22 oz local brewed NEIPA and the chicken caesar salad. The wife got the chicken rice bowl. The beer was tasty, but that was the highlight of our lunch. The chicken salad looked pretty sad with an overly sweetened vinaigrette. Definitely not worth $17.49. The wife's rice bowl was smothered in a very heavy sauce and only had a few small pieces of chicken. It was also not worth the $17.99 tag. This is one of the only restaurants in the park, but it could definitely be so much more than it is right now. We likely will not come back.

Genevieve M.

Yelp
The experience from the start was horrible. The hostesses were rude and seemed to have no idea what was going on. They crossed us off the list without even calling our name because they didn't know how to pronounce it and then one girl told the other "they probably left anyway". Nope... we were standing right across from you - listening and watching the whole thing. Then Greg took us to our table. Greg was amazing and probably the most enjoyable part of the whoooole experience. Unfortunately when we got to the table there was a huge mess underneath (Ranch spilled everywhere), so we couldn't sit. Fortunately Greg was on it and cleaned it up right away. While our waitress watched him. Then we sat and were officially introduced to our waitress and we said goodbye to Greg. We ordered drinks (literally sodas and water and lemon wedges for the waters). If you enjoy lemon in your water I'd skip it. If you're experience is like ours you'll have to ask several (including my husband's request three) times and wait a long time before you get it. The pretzel was pretty good. Don't waste your time on the other appetizer. When the food came dinner just became a huge mess. I thought the turkey wrap would be safe to order, and had it been made fresh it probably would have been. But it tasted (to me) like someone made it up this morning. And juices just dripped out of the corner of it. Kinda gross. Getting a refill for my son was interesting. I've never felt like I've inconvenienced someone as much as I've done so tonight. Figured it'd be best to just ask for the bill and boxes at this point. Ashley brought the checkbook over and (shame on you for thinking the bill was wrong!) there was no bill in it.... so she looks at us and says "it must have fallen out". But it was nowhere to be found. The boxes were also nowhere to be found. Our waitress reprinted the receipt and brought it over. I paid. She said she'd bring a box at that point but I told her not to worry about it. If you've read all that, then you're a champion. Don't eat here.

Frederick K.

Yelp
Jul 14, 2022: The location is amazing! Restaurant was closed at 5:10 pm when we arrived. I don't understand why a business would close early during peak summer season at a major tourist attraction. I've never encountered this business practice anywhere else in all my travels. Oh, I'm guessing the answer is this is operated by the State of NY. Rather the maximizing revenue, profit and customer satisfaction they decide to shut down and head home.

Ethan S.

Yelp
0 stars, called ahead and was told that we didn't need a reservation. Once we got there 10 minutes later, they were closed. Multiple members of the staff gave us multiple reasons for why they closed early. Weather, not enough people eating, and then we were told to leave rudely by the manager. Wouldn't recommend due to customer service alone.

Samantha S.

Yelp
The only sit-down restaurant on the American side of Niagara Falls as far as me and my family could tell. The waiting area next to the hostess stand is a bit strange, as it's directly next to a staircase, but the good thing about it is that the wait for a table is much shorter than you think. There's indoor and outdoor seating, though we opted for indoor to live it up in air conditioning while we could. The day was hot! Our waitress was polite and lovely, with a quaint Canadian accent. The food was nothing to write home about, though I enjoyed my Caesar salad wrap well enough. The fries were not nearly crisp enough--almost like eating the potato just slightly warmed. They were out of Frosé when we ordered drinks, so I opted for the Pina Colada, which was very yummy. WARNING: they will need ID for anyone buying a drink, no matter how old you look! We were told this is because it's a state park. Overall, it got the job done!

Adam C.

Yelp
The only positive is the view from the deck is nice. It should have told us something the food was out maybe 5 minutes after we ordered. My wife and I both got a burger and it was awful. It didn't taste right and gave both of us indigestion the rest of the afternoon. It cost us $77 for a poorly made burger and an afternoon of heartburn. If you are just stopping for a drink you should be fine but I wouldn't eat here.

Charles B.

Yelp
We stopped in after visiting the falls a couple of years ago. Back then the menu was different with healthy, vegan, and vegetarian options. Everything has changed. There are no healthy options. It appears to have changed to the typical Standard American Diet (sad) type foods. Basically a burger joint. The service was incredible and the staff were well trained. The views are great as you can see the top of the falls. Wish the food matched the views.
