Driving in was a shock with road being in such bad condition. The lock on the front door was very old and needed to be jiggled just right to get in. Tiny cabin with a fireplace still full of ashes. No lounge, just hard plastic dining chairs. Sheets were yellowing and had wrinkles from being already slept on. Shower had no soap, shampoo or conditioner. Shower curtain dripped onto bathroom floor that had no drain hole but the water flowed outside around the toilet pipe that wasn’t sealed to the floor. Hot water ran out after a very short shower (hot water tank was in wardrobe and was tiny). Winder on blinds in single beds room was missing and a bit of slat missing so couldn’t close for privacy. Dirty old hot plates and frypan. Kitchen blind had a broken slat and the window was filthy with a big old spider web in the corner that boasted a big dead fly. Boards on outside of building were floating in the wind above a broken pier. A massive bird poo (probably from a low flying duck) adorned the outside wall along with spider webs. I had to wipe down the table before we sat at it, that was shocking. Had to wipe surfaces and bed heads, totally putrid. I thought we might be able to lie on a lounge in the games room and watch telly but the lounges were covered in human remnants. We had booked for 2 night so I asked to get a refund for the second night as we wouldn’t be staying 2 nights. She told me that she didn’t think she could give a refund so I told her that she could. She finally agreed but kept $20 for some booking fee or something. I thought it was worth it to pay $20 to just not have to stay another night in that hellhole.
Rated this place 0 out of 10. We couldn’t find anything good about it. It’s funny because it’s a G’day Park and we rated the one at Lake Boga 10 out of 10.
Really wrecked our few days away which we cut short. Shame on management.
