This place is hidden gem, tucked away in a commercial shopping strip. Get the Burmese tea. It’s really good. Nice staff. Atmosphere is simple and inviting, making it also a good place to get some work done on a laptop.

Absolutely amazing. Everything about this restaurant is perfect. The food and drinks were utterly amazing, the service was quick, and the atmosphere felt safe and the people were very polite. (Edit) i would also like to further add, the service was absolutely incredible. I have never felt so respected at a place, but this place makes you feel so great. They treat you like family if something goes wrong (which barely happens, it's typically perfect), the people are so loving, and the food arrives so quickly. The people there are absolutely incredible. If anyone is nearby wanting a nice drink or food, I would 100% recommend this place. If it were possible, I would give it more stars.

I cannot believe I have never heard of this cafe🥹 it's a little hidden, but it's a gem. The lady who got our coffee was so kind, and for the only one there as far as I could tell she worked very efficiently! The coffee atmosphere was cozy, clean, and uplifting, with gorgeous plants and neat decoration all around the shop. I got the matcha latte and the beef and rice salad, and it was incredible and so well-priced. The matcha was one of the BEST that I have ever had, and the salad was a solid spice level, tasty and clearly made with love. I'll definitely be coming back as I can, and I can't recommend it enough for people who want a good place to work or catch up with friends while also having great coffee and delicious and authentic Asian food.

Their coffee is still a work in progress 3/5. But the vibe is good. Great place to work/study or hangout with friends. Do not forget to try their Tea Leaf Salad (laphattauh) you will love it. They also have some bakery items and books that you can read. Also bonus to them for having real plants all around. 🌿🍃🌱

I can’t share enough about this great cafe. From the moment I walked in, the calm aroma of matcha and the warm, minimalist atmosphere set the smoothing tone for the perfect visit. The staff were incredibly welcome, they were very passionate about what they serve. I ordered their matcha and croissant, it was the far most best I’ve had. The matcha was perfectly balanced, not too sweet, or not too bitter. The croissant was delicate and full of flavors that fulfilled my mouth desires. This cafe is an absolute must-visit. I can’t wait to come back and to try ore from their menu!!!

This cozy coffee shop offers a delightful menu and a pleasant ambiance. However, my experience was somewhat disappointing. The chocolate croissant I tried was quite chewy and likely stale, while the coffee was simply terrible.

This place is amazing! The food was amazing so were the drinks. Every dish felt thoughtful and comforting, and the presentation made it more enjoyable. Not only were the meals good, but the workers were very kind-hearted!! Definitely coming here again!

I needed a spot to get some work done while waiting on my car to get an oil change, and as I was checking for local coffee shops I came across TPR Cafe, which I hadn't know about before. It's just off Madison Ave near Southport. Photos showed a nice seating area so I gave it a shot. I ordered a Burmese tea and banana bread and both were great and were ready quickly. The tea was very sweet, but a nice treat. I loved all the plants decorating the nice and clean space. And for a fairly small shop, there is really a good variety and amount of seating.

This local coffee shop is, it seems, Burmese-owned. It has a gorgeous interior - I love the ambiance with the lighting, furniture, and many plants! Variety of seating: lounge area, small tables, one large table, and high top tables. Good amount of outlets if you bring a laptop. Because it is Burmese, there are traditional coffee shop options (latte, etc) but also Burmese coffee! They have a baked goods case that was interesting - your avg coffee shop item like croissants and then some Asian cuisine items. They are very friendly. Right now they don't have WiFi but should by next week. I got a plain coffee and it was solid. I added creamer to it since it was a dark roast and I am a baby that only loves light roast Still it was a better dark roast than most. They almost brought the water and then the coffee to my table which is nice. I also love that they are open later than most locally owned coffee shops around here (until 6pm). I'd recommend that folks go! Give them some grace the first few weeks as they get up and running (ex: the WiFi issue just use your phone hotspot if that's an option for now).

Stopped in here on a rainy Sunday afternoon around 2 pm. The parking lot was empty and we were the only customers there. The inside was very pleasantly decorated with books, plants and miscellaneous coffee themed wall decals. The staff was very friendly and happy to answer all our questions. The store is Burmese-owned and the staff at this time appeared to be a mom and daughter. They have the usually selection of coffees and lattes with several added asian drinks too. I went with the burmese tea which I found to be very good with the perfect amount of sweetness. They also offer some smaller food items which were common asian pastries and snacks or street foods. I decided to try a couple of them. Both looked like types of cookies but after asking them, I was told one was bayar kyaw (basically a myanmar falafel). It was made of mainly chickpeas. The other thing i picked out was Mandalay pe kyaw (basically squashed kidney bean fritters). Both were very good. The only suggestion I would request is that they offer decaf coffee. I'm not sure if they were out or just don't serve it, but my wife is not able to drink caffeine or high sugar items so she missed out on the drinks.

Great spot and place to get some work done. Nice staff. The noodles I had were amazing and coffee is good
