Details to consider if you just want an evening meal here... The ticket for the lift costs 65RM each, which you get deducted from your meal bill. I'm not sure if this is per person or per meal though. What stopped us doing it was that it was steak at western prices when we would have preferred something local. We felt going up for the view/experience had outpriced itself. 5 stars given as my review is only based on a menu.

First time to try and disappointed with food. Approached cashier and convinced me it is fresh. Does this chicken look fresh? The image shows best,I rest my case. One of the worker was agitated when I approached them. Educate your workers, how to behave with customers. Showing hooliganism does not work with everyone. Malay man with highlighted hair with the cashier. Sitting near the bar.

I paid $1000 to spend New Year’s Eve at this place with my family, expecting a properly organized event. What we experienced instead was complete disappointment. There was no one to welcome or guide us at the entrance. From the very beginning, the organization was chaotic and unprofessional. The food was extremely poor in quality, far below any acceptable standard for an event of this price. I was also sold a “Gold VIP Package”, which turned out to be absolutely meaningless. None of the promised or implied benefits were provided. There was no difference in service, no privileges, and no added value whatsoever. This was supposed to be a special moment for my family. Instead, it became an embarrassing and frustrating experience. I deeply regret bringing my family to such a poorly managed and unpleasant place. This establishment failed to deliver even the most basic expectations, let alone what was promised. I would not recommend this place to anyone, especially for special occasions.

Yep, this price is reasonable for a stunning place to dine in, if you are looking for the view, but not the food while we experienced. We came here for a simple celebrations on weekdays. Not too crowd, but it’s quite inconvenient to come up here. Have to the purchase voucher then only can come up, then have to change lift and so on… Sorry to say, the food I ordered was not fresh. The mushroom soup was like instant powder.

Bad food. Good view. Out of five stars; one goes to service; the other goes to the view. That’s it. We ordered the Mixed Grill, Ribeye Steak (medium rare), Mushroon Soup, Truffle Mash, and Aglio Olio. It was either overcooked or uncooked. Everything was too salty. I thought you can’t go wrong with Penang’s food. This is the first letdown. Thankfully, their staff was kind to change our well-done steak. The ribeye that came after was acceptable, but still salty. Disappointed for its price.

The worst experience in Penang on food 👎 Originally planned to have a very best dinner prior to our flight in the midnight. It was so much disappointed on the two dishes of grilled seafood and grilled america meat platter when the price is more than RM140 per dishes. We tried to express our bad experience to the waitress but however we got even no response from the restaurant staff The overall trip in Penang is excellent place, but definitely not including the TOPVIEW

I here for the RM188 new year party buffet this is food they serve us ...is this from nasi kandar? Please don't shame Malaysia food by tasteless food and find your own table buffet .. Local nasi kandar have more variety then this .. if cannot find table still need to merged table with other people ? Is this hawker center on the top floor?

Terrible. Waste of money. Service was terrible, food not much better. Made to prepay RM65 each to secure a reservation, which was fine, but to arrive and no consideration for booking requests or seating to have been considered was disappointing, they had 4 bookings on the list when we arrived at 6:30pm, all sat next to each other to avoid too much moving around for staff, when we requested to be sat outside per the original booking request, we were directed out the door and just seat our self where ever. As the restaurant is now also the viewing deck, dinner is constantly interrupted with people walking beside/behind/between you to take photos and view the sights. Staff did not enjoy coming out to us, 2 out of 3 drinks I walked into the bar to order myself because no one was to be seen. When I asked what the house white wine was, I was told it’s a white wine and she didn’t know anything else, when I asked if she could find out, she said, no but you can goto the bar and look, an absolute disgrace, then to have a 10% service charge! There was no service to charge for. To top it off, when the bill arrived they hadn’t taken the prepayment off, when I questioned this, the server asked what prepayment?, I said the one required to make a booking!! After playing dumb for a minute she agreed and took RM130 off the bill. JUST AVOID THE PLACE
