Fabulous for families as it has a brilliant crazy golf and great children’s play areas. |Showers included in the price and we found that the facilities were modern and clean. We used the facilities that were close to the van pitches which seem newer than block near tent pitches. |Lake next to campsite where you can swim or do a run / walk around lake |Number 42 bus stops outside camp and takes you into Oslo center

There are two campervan campsites in Oslo. The one at Ekeberg appears to close for service around 15 September 2025, leaving only this site open for campervan users. There is a Kiwi supermarket just outside the campsite, which makes it very convenient for groceries and supplies. Taking a bus to Oslo city centre takes around 30 minutes. Overall, this campsite feels newer and better maintained compared to Ekeberg.

Very pricey campsite. The location's good, but the facilities were consistently dirty. We stayed for two nights and only once saw a bathroom that wasn't a mess. The facility building in the centre of the campsite is modern, the one at the back of the site a bit older. That wouldn't be an issue if it weren't for the mold there (unpleasant for the guests but a health hazard for the cleaning crew, I should think). In any case, the buildings were not cleaned often enough. The tent pitches are in the back section of the campsite. The older facility building is closest for those staying in a tent but guests have to walk up a steep slope or take a detour to get to the bathrooms. Creating some steps there to connect the parts of the campsite would be considerate. This is only a minor issue, but it's exactly this kind of attention to detail that you find on many Norwegian campsites, but not this one.

I don't understand the negative reviews. This is a great campsite. We stayed here in a camper. One of the best during our vacation. The sanitary block is very modern, has a lot of space and was always in very clean condition. Large room for bathing children. Despite the large number of people we felt as comfortable as possible, as the places were large. The service is excellent!

The environment was okay and amenities were complete and full. All equipment was working however the hot water stopped early. Unfortunately, the laundry room is not working and we cannot Laundry also the security was not helpful at all.

Modern facilities, bus to Oslo stops in front of the camping, very convenient, it runs frequently into town. Friendly welcome. Due to its big size and frequent usage, the facilities needed a second mopping towards the evening.

It was our cheapest option in Oslo, given the very high priced accommodations in this area. Location was great, with direct bus connection to the city center, a supermarket and a gas and charging station at the front gate. Also, the setting in a green and lush area is beautiful. It has a regular playground for kids. However, sanitary facilities are very poor and far too few for the number of guests. Also, in the old building, the toilets are in the shower cells, so they are occupied al the time and get muddy due to the weet floors. A terribly inefficiënt and guest unfriendly design... Same goes for the kitchen. Only 2 outdated ovens, a few old stoves and no microwave. The 2 bedroom cabin that we hired was large enough for us, but also outdated and the atmosphere inside did not give a pleasant/fresh feeling. In summary, it is cost efficient for Oslo standards but still a lot of money. Elsewhere it would run out of business in no time.

A little crowded and big for our taste but modern facilities, friendly staff and clean. Trail access to Bogstad lake right by the camp. We took a morning swim there. Good for visiting Oslo, a direct drive to the Folk museum, which I highly recommend.
