Topcamp Bogstad

The Location of this Campsite is quite nice and Oslo city is easily reachable from here. Also the spots in the back are big and quiet. On the downside the sanitary building (3) was way too dirty for that price (65€ per night). Nowhere else in Norway we experienced something like this.

We had a very friendly check in with someone who easily spoke English. We had one of the grass spots, which wasn't ideal but was okay. The camp ground has a nice kitchen area with 9 2-element stove tops, 2 ovens, and 11 sinks. Nice sanitary station for the camper as well. The washrooms were clean and nice. Showers were included. WiFi included as well. Little issue getting WiFi from our camp site.

It was an excellent and different experience to stay at this camping site. A true feel of nature and the lush green lawn and kids play area. I already reviewed it 8/10 on booking.com as in pics. Holmen kollen is just 20 minutes walk but uphill...

We are visiting with a campervan, the plots are good, electric and water hook up. Good shower/toilet block. Play facilities for children. Bus stop right outside to go into Oslo. There is also a golf course and a lake within walking distance. Also a supermarket on site. There are also cabins available if you don't want to camp.

We had a comfortable and lovely 2 nights stay in a 2 bedroom cabin. It is overall well equipped, there is even a dishwasher in the kitchen. A toaster could elevate the usefulness of the kitchen, and it would be great to have some shelves in the bathroom and a night table in the bedrooms. Cleanliness was OK, but far from my standards…the dishwasher was full with kitchen appliances and food traces when we arrived. We could not keep the windows open during the night because the holders were broken.

Overall, Topcamp Bogstad's natural beauty and convenient location make it a tempting option. However, potential guests should be aware of its mixed reviews and consider their priorities when choosing accommodations.

Bad idea to combine toilets with showers a specially next to the tent pitches where nobody has it own sanitary. Now you have to walk half a mile to the next and better sanitary block or wait for someone to finish their unlimited shower. The tent pitches itself are very nice and spacy.

If you have other options, dont visit Topcamp Oslo. It is placere near Oslo and that is the biggest advantage of this place. For caravans it a relatively expensive camping site, but the price and quality does not match at all. The service in the reception is really bad. The employees have a really lazy attitude, and if you have an enquiry they reject it immediately. If only they would look like customer service meant something to them, the service would seem much better. The sanitært facilities are very dirty. It is the most dirty place we have experienced the last 14 days in Norway. In the showers there are large amounts of hair, toiletpaper and every type of garbage children would throw away. The wifi is also not good. Overall very embarrasing!
